We selected the learning orientation among variables related to the acquisition of knowledge and analyzed the moderating effects of motivation in the mediating process of learning orientation, professional knowledge, creative thinking ability, and the relationship between them. To this end, a research model and hypothesis were established through literature studies, and 296 questionnaires were distributed and collected from Daegu and Gyeongbuk to test hypotheses. As a result of the verification through hierarchical regression analysis, it was confirmed that learning orientation has a positive effect on creative thinking skill, and expertise has a mediating effect. And in this mediation relationship, the moderating effect of motivation was confirmed. These findings are suggestive by checking the relationship between the elements in the expression of creativity in detail and identifying the influence of learning orientation. It will be able to provide guidelines for organizational management by explaining the process of creativity through the development of knowledge.

  • The business models has a great impact on the successful management of enterprises. Business environment has been shifting from industrial economy to knowledge-based economy. Enterprises go through numerous trials for successful management in the changing environment. Along with trial tests, research areas have been growing simultaneously. Although many researches have been conducted with regard to business models, it is very insufficient to systematically analyze the knowledge flow of research. Accordingly, successive researchers who want to study the business model may find it difficult to establish the orientation of future application research based on understanding the process of changing the knowledge structure that have accumulated so far. This study is intended to determine the current state of the business model research and to understand the process of knowledge structure changes in keywords that appear in 2,667 business model articles in the SCOPUS database. Identifying the knowledge structure has been completed through social network analysis, a methodology based on the 'relationship', and the changes in the knowledge structure were identified by classifying them into four different periods. The analysis showed that, first, the number of business model co-author increases over time with the need for academic diversity. Second, the 'innovation' keyword has the biggest center in the network, and over time, the lower-rank keyword which was in the former period has emerged as the top-rank keyword. Third, the cohesiveness group decreased from 12 before 2000 to 5 in 2015 and also the modularity decreased as well. Finally, examining characteristics of study area through a cognitive map showed that the relationships between domains increased gradually over time. The study has provided a systematic basis for understanding the current state of the business model research and the process of changing knowledge structure. In addition, considering that no research has ever systematically analyzed the knowledge structure accumulated by individual researches, it is considered as a significant study.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among fashion orientation, shopping motivations, shopping flow experience, and purchases of fashion products. Two types of shopping motivations were employed in the study: goal-directed and experiential. A conceptual research model was developed using research variables and structural equational modeling was used to test hypotheses. Empirical results indicated that fashion orientation had a strong positive direct effect on both types of shopping motives. Experiential and goal-directed motivations both had significant influence on shopping flow experience by consumers. During this process the influence of experiential motivation on flow experience was stronger, which implies the importance of experiential motivation on shopping fashion products. In addition, shopping flow experience played an important role in fashion product purchasing. Results of this study suggest that retailers should take into consideration flow in the context of shopping.

  • Research underlined that Small and Medium Enterprises' performance is enhanced by different types of innovation capabilities. This research tends to present a comprehensive model to explain the relationship between innovation capabilities and SMEs' financial and operational performance. Specifically, this study tends to achieve three objectives: explores the set of product, process, organizational and marketing innovation capabilities possessed by owners/managers of SMEs and their impact on Chinese manufacturing SMEs' operational and financial performance dimensions, identify the determinants of innovation capabilities, and determine the contextual factors that moderate innovation capabilities and SMEs' performance. This research employed a qualitative research method using in-depth interviews with eight owners/managers of Chinese manufacturing SMEs. Research findings revealed that product and marketing innovation capabilities have a significant impact on SMEs' financial performance while process and organizational innovation capabilities positively influence SMEs' operational performance. The major determinants of innovation capabilities involved availability of sufficient organizational resources, entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge development and external networks. The contextual moderating factors on the relationship between innovation capabilities and SMEs' performance involved internal factors which are: SME size, SMEs' owner/manager work experience, entrepreneurial mindset; and external factors: market dynamism and cooperation strategies. This paper ends by drawing some concluding remarks and proposing future research avenues.

  • As a result of significant investments by the government in promoting public technology commercialization and fostering a venture startup ecosystem, there have been quantitative achievements, such as the registration of over 1,600 Innopolis Start-ups since 2006, generating a total revenue of 1.1 trillion won as of 2021. However, these achievements have been overshadowed by critical qualitative challenges, including a continuous decline in average revenue per Innopolis Start-up. This led to a focus on whether managers' technological and market orientations affect business performance. This study aims to provide insights into improving the qualitative growth of Innopolis Start-ups by analyzing the effects of technological and market orientations on business performance, as well as the moderating effects of adjusting marketing and research and development (R&D) costs on this relationship. Through prior research and empirical analysis, this study derives three main findings. First, technological excellence and innovation significantly influence the business performance of Innopolis Start-ups, while technological intensity does not. Second, customer orientation and competitive orientation significantly impact business performance, whereas entry barriers as a single factor do not. Third, adjusting marketing and R&D costs, as controlled variables obtained through general situations, has no direct impact on other variables. However, it interacts with entry barriers, influencing financial business performance, with R&D costs exhibiting a negative buffering effect and marketing costs showing a positive enhancing effect. This study confirms that both technological and market orientations directly influence the business performance of Innopolis Start-ups, thus being crucial factors affecting their growth. Moreover, it establishes that investments in marketing and R&D play significant roles in alleviating initial entry barriers and enhancing financial performance. Consequently, it underscores the importance of reinforcing technological and market orientations tailored to the characteristics of Innopolis Start-ups. Additionally, it proposes five theoretical contributions: strengthening institutional support systems for technology commercialization and innovation, improving qualitative evaluation criteria during the selection process of Innopolis Start-ups, conducting comprehensive analyses of technological and market aspects during startup selection, enhancing support for marketing education and consulting for smooth market entry, and supporting expenditure strategies and milestone setting tailored to the industrial characteristics of individual Innopolis Start-ups.
