With vigorous development of global network community, smart phones and mobile devices, enterprises can rapidly collect various kinds of data from internal and external environments. How to discover valuable information and transform it into new business opportunities from big data which grow rapidly is an extremely important issue for current enterprises. This study treats Company S as the subject and tries to find the factors of big data application in enterprises by a modified Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) and perceived benefits - perceived barriers relation matrix as reference for big data application and management of managers or marketing personnel in other organizations or related industry.
We analyze the information level of local small and medium business in the base of Nolan's growth stage model. To estimate information level we do separate level analysis for six sections and integrated total level analysis. After analyzing information level of business, we focus on the factors of this result to understand the most influential environments. The local business we were studying are the third stage-control stage. But Organization of information department and Planning and control of information are the second stage. The number of computer system application field is very related to information level. We present the critical factors of information level of small and medium business.

Business plan competitions and related education are common activities to regions that are, or desire to be, important innovative and start-up regions. The literature is contradictory regarding the value of formal business plans (FBPs) toward venture planning, capital acquisition, and education. This study analyzes the relevant literature and sample of 35 FBPs to assess these contradictions. We propose the theoretical constructs of "myth and ceremony" to explain the loose coupling of FBPs to real business environments, an observation consistent with theory that suggests organizations perpetuate the myths of their institutional environment to maintain their legitimacy. We offer Action Business Planning as an alternative to more accurately address the realities of venture creation and survival, and for education.
This paper considers supplier selection process for e-business & ISO 9001 quality management system environments. Determining suitable suppliers in the electronic commerce has become a key strategic consideration. However, the nature of these decisions is usually complex and unstructured. In this paper, a Quality Estimated Supplier Selection (QESS) model is proposed to deal with the supplier selection problems in the e-business(Business to Business: B to B). In the supplier selection, quality management factors will be considered for the first time, and then price, and delivery etc. In the first level, we deal with the quality management factors such as quality management audit, product test, engineering man-power, capability index and training time etc., based on the five point scale. In the second level, a QESS model determines the final solution by considering factors such as price, production lead-time and delivery time.

Corna Virus is being widely spreaded across the world and accelerating working environments to home-based telecommuting environments rapidly. Many companies, however, are afraid of decrease in productivities due to insufficient technology readiness by new technology environments. Therefore, finding out the influencing factors which improve the productivities in home-based telecommuting environments is a very important research issue. This study suggests several influencing factors such as technology readiness, technostress, and control behavior and a research model by literature review. To verify the model a total of 204 questionnaires are collected from office workers who are currently utilizing home-based telecommuting. The statistical analysis show that technostress influences negatively to productivities. In addition, moderating effect analysis show that control behavior affects negatively and technostress positively to alleviate the technostress. The result is expected to provide a theocratical framework for further related research and practical guidelines for improving productivities in home-based telecommuting environments.
As business environments rapidly changing and becoming more competitive, manager begin to realize the needs of the network organization structure reflecting the newly emerging internet environments. This paper, therefore, attempt to provide managers with a framework that can be used to design an effective network structure. The framework described here shows three important characteristics of network organizations: First, staffs need to be knowledge workers, rather than rule follower. Second, managers need to emphasize the empowerment, rather than exercising hierarchical power and control. In order for managers to support the design of network organizations they need to implement information systems that can integrate staffs, tasks, and information technologies.
Purpose: Manufacturers rely on interfirm governance mechanisms to reduce the risks inherent in uncertain environments; however, it is unclear which governance mechanisms are developed to manage relationships with suppliers. This study sought to enhance knowledge of how environmental uncertainty affects interfirm governance mechanisms under conditions reflecting varying levels of structural holes. To this end, the study investigated the relationships between manufacturers and major first-tier and sub-suppliers. In particular, the moderating effect of structural holes is examined. Research design, data and methodology: A questionnaire survey was conducted with a major first-tier supplier of a Korean engineering firm. Proposed hypotheses were tested using structural equation modeling. Results: The results show that while the relationship between environmental uncertainty and unilateral governance is positive but statistically insignificant, with bilateral governance is negative and statistically significant. The study also demonstrates that when structural holes are considered, the effects between environmental uncertainty and governance mechanisms are attenuated. Conclusions: This study suggests some theoretical and managerial contributions between exchange partners, especially, the results suggest that structural holes have a critical competitive advantage in uncertain environments. Therefore, manufacturers should carefully consider how they deal with environmental uncertainty when they make a business decision under structural holes situations.
