Distribution of Work Ethic factors, Locus of Control on Employee Performance

  • Purpose: This study aims to analyze distribution of work ethic factors in moderating the influence of Locus of Control on Employee Performance at PDAM (Regional Water Utility) Makassar City. Research design, data and methodology: The sample uses a purposive sampling method with a number sample as many as 35 respondents in PDAM Makassar City. The data collection method used is giving questionnaires to employees in accordance with the research conducted. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis tests and moderated regression analysis with an absolute difference value approach. Results: Locus of control has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and distribution of work ethics are able to moderate the influence of locus of control on employee performance in PDAM Makassar City. Conclusion: when locus of control increases it will be followed by an increase in employee performance, and also equal distribution of work ethic will strengthen the influence of locus of control on employee performance at PDAM Makassar City. Work ethic values that can be implemented include determining work ethic values, clear communication to evaluation and adjustment. The limitation of this research is that it only uses respondents from civil servants and needs further development.

Work Ethics Strengthen the Impact of Distribution Knowledge Sharing on Innovation Abilities in Small Public Accountant Firms

  • Purpose: This study examines the effect of distribution knowledge sharing on innovation ability using work ethic as a variable that strengthens this effect. Research design, data and methodology: This research was conducted on 283 auditors who work at the Small Public Accounting Firm (SPAF) in Indonesia. The research method used is a verification method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used is a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling type. Furthermore, the data analysis technique used is PLS-SEM. Results: The results of the tests that have been carried out show that distribution knowledge sharing has a significant effect on the auditor's innovation ability. Other test results show that work ethic has a significant effect on innovation ability and work ethic strengthens the effect of distribution knowledge sharing on auditors' innovation ability. Conclusions: Auditors in Indonesia have implemented distribution knowledge sharing activities optimally followed by a maximum work ethic to encourage high innovation abilities that will be able to create new methods and ideas that can be useful for clients. This research is expected to provide distribution knowledge to auditors to be able to improve their abilities, especially in the field of auditing to increase their competence as auditors.

Testing Resilience and Work Ethics as Mediators Between Charismatic Leadership and Affective Commitment to Change

  • The study tests resilience and work ethics as mediators between charismatic leadership and affective commitment to change. Many organizations, such as banking, insurance companies, and financial institutions, face strong competition and consequently need to effect considerable change within the organization. Many variables have a significant impact on the success of organizational change, and people (resilience and work ethics) as well as change leaders are primary variables in this research. This study, using structural equation modeling, was conducted on a sample of 355 employees from banking and insurance companies. In this study, the inventory of affective commitment to change, the Conger-Kanungo charismatic leadership scale, resilience, and work ethic inventory was used. The results showed that resilience is a partial mediator between charismatic leadership and affective commitment to change. Meanwhile, work ethic was not a mediator between the two variables. The results showed that charismatic leadership can have a direct, positive, and significant impact on affective commitment to change without mediators, and that resilience can act as partial mediator. Furthermore, work ethic had a significant and positive effect on affective commitment to change through resilience. In other words, resilience is a full mediator for the impact of work ethic on affective commitment to change.

민간경비원의 직업윤리의식이 조직신뢰, 직무만족에 미치는 영향 (The Effect on Professional Ethic, Organizational Trust and Job Satisfaction among Private Security Guard)

  • 본 연구는 민간경비원의 직업윤리의식에 대한 연구가 미비하고 실태파악이 이루어지지 않은 현실에 비추어 민간경비원의 전문직으로서의 자부심과 가치관 정립을 통한 직업윤리 의식의 고양의 중요성을 조명하며, 또한 직업윤리의식과 조직신뢰, 직무만족의 관계를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 분석을 위한 자료의 수집은 경비업체에 근무하고 있는 팀장급 이하 실무자를 모집단으로 설정하였으며, 비확률 표본추출방법(non-probability sampling)중 편의추출법(convenience sampling)을 사용하여 총 500명을 표집인원으로 선정하였고 기입누락, 기입불명확, 이중기입, 편향적 기입 등과 같은 연구 자료로 부적합한 설문지46부를 제외하고 총 454부의 응답 자료를 최종분석에 포함하였다. 입력된 자료를 SPSS WIN 19.0 version을 이용하여 연구의 목적에 따라 분석 하였으며 유의수준은 p<.05로 설정하였다. 본 연구에서 사용한 통계기법은 요인분석(factor analysis), 신뢰도분석(reliability analysis), 상관분석(correlation analysis), 다중회귀분석(multiple regression analysis)을 실시하였다. 통계분석결과 민간경비원의 직업윤리의식이 조직신뢰, 직무만족에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 민간경비업체 내에서 개인들의 직업윤리의식 강화를 위하여 교육이나 훈련 프로그램을 정기적으로 실시하고, 자신의 개인적인 상태를 점검하며, 민간경비원의 직업윤리의식에 대한 스스로의 능력을 제고 할 기회를 제공하여야 함을 시사하고 있다.

  • The purposes of this study were to examine effects of individual's ethics on corporation ethics and corporation ethics management and perception for corporation ethics management innovation system, and to compare consumers' and entrepreneurs' perceptions toward innovation system for ethics management in fashion industry. The subject used for this study were 260 subjects (117 consumer and 143 entrepreneurs). For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations, Cronbach's alpha, regression, and t-test were used. As the results, first, ethic values on idealism and machiavellism significantly influenced on the business ethics. Business ethics also affected on business ethics management. In addition, business ethics management influenced on perception for ethics management innovation system. Finally, there were significant differences between consumers and entrepeneurs on perceptions toward innovation system for ethics management. Based on these results, prevention marketing strategies of counterfeit goods would be provided.

공직윤리제도 개선을 위한 법적대안 (Legal Alternative plan for public servant Ethic Act)

  • 공직윤리의 문제는 끊임없이 제기되고 다양한 법과 제도적 장치를 마련하고 있으나, 계속되는 공직윤리 위반행위는 해결되기 보다는 오히려 악화되고 있는 실정이다. 특히, 우리나라는 전통적으로 긴밀한 유대관계를 형성하고 있는 가족문화의 특수성으로 인하여 공직자의 이해충돌관계가 더욱 심각화될 수 있는 여건에 처해 있다. 최근 부산저축은행 부실관련 여러원인이 감독기관 (금융감독원) 전직자들의 취업이 문제된 바와 같이 상당수의 정부 부처고위 공직자가 로펌이나 이해관계가 얽혀 있는 회사의 영입대상이 되고, 이들이 회사의 사적 이익을 위해 공공기관에 영향력을 행사함으로써 부정부패가 발생하는 사건이 줄지어 나타나고 있다. 또한 스폰서 검사, 사회복지 예산 횡령사건과 권력형 부패사건 발생 등 온갖 불법부패 사건과 부패혐의에 대해 엄정하지 못한 법집행은 정부의 반부패 정책에 대한 국민신뢰를 크게 훼손 시키고 있다. 따라서 공직윤리제도가 완벽한 목적을 수행하기 위해서는 지속적인 제도적 문제점을 개선하고 노력해야 할 것이다.

학교 소비자교육이 중학생의 휴대전화 소비행동에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of School Consumer Education on Cellular Phone Consumption Behaviors of Middle School Students)

  • 본 연구는 청소년의 학교 소비자교육과 휴대전화 소비행동, 휴대전화 소비행동과 휴대전화 소비생활 만족도의 관계를 살펴보아 청소년들의 합리적인 소비생활을 유도할 수 있는 방안을 모색하고 학교 소비자교육의 개선을 위한 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 설문지는 서울 및 수도권 소재 중학교에 재학 중인 중학교 2학년을 대상으로 실시하여 총 430부를 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정보분석 및 구매의사결정에 대한 교육이 '합리적 구매와 능동적 문제해결' 행동에 영향을 미치고, 소비문화에 대한 교육이 '윤리적 사용, 능동적 문제해결' 행동에 영향을 미쳤다. '문제해결 및 권리와 책임'에 대한 교육은 소비행동에 어떠한 영향도 미치지 않았고, 인지수준도 상대적으로 가장 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 휴대전화의 윤리적 사용행동은 '관계만족도'에 영향을 미치고, 합리적 구매행동과 능동적 문제해결행동은 '활용만족도'에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

A Study on Institutionalization of the Rent-A-Driver Industry from the Point of View at the Creative Industries

  • This paper, we argue that sector in terms of the creative industries the need to the institutional settle of the rent-a-driver business; the industry could create more than 200,000 jobs, the effect is to bring out the about 4 trillion underground economy and Can be interpreted industry, which contributes to reduce social costs, ranging from 1.7 trillion won to 5.7 trillion per year. Through institutionalization of policy should support. Observation and in-depth interviews were conducted with the law and the president of the rent-a-driver business company. The operating system should be improved. the rent-a-driver business, for the formulation of the work ethic and education is desperately needed. The effect socio-economic contribution effect of the rent-a-driver business industry can be summarized as follows. First, it is an industry that has an operating system utilizing state-of-the-art technology and equipment, and the convergence of creative industries to comply with the market. Second, the effect appears as an industry that creates jobs for the populace to replace the social security system, social safety net is considered as an industry. Third, this is an industry that can be self-reliant in the short term at least political support, the industry is considered in the industry to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of the support policy.

품질연구의 발전 : 2007-2011년 품질경영학회지 게재 논문을 중심으로 (The Evolution of Research on Quality: Papers Published in Journal of the Korean Society for Quality Management (2007-2011))

  • The purpose of this study is to identify and classify main research streams and trends on papers published in Journal of the Korean Society for Quality Management (JOKSFQM) during a five year period, from 2007 to 2011. 228 papers published during the period were collected for the study and analyzed to classify dimensions of research in terms of research themes, methods, and industries, etc. The results of the study showed that the 28 of 36 themes, which are presented by the Korean Society for Quality Management (KSFQM), are related to quality issues and new six themes are studied. The total of 34 themes is classified into seven research categories based on previous studies as follows: 32 % of process areas, 30.3% of leadership, 7.5% of customer and market focus, 5.6% of organizational performance, 6.6% of strategic planning, 1.3% of workforce, and 15.8% of other areas. The results indicate that quality related research need to reflect new demands of rapidly changing business market environment, such as innovation, ethic, and/or social responsibility, etc.

Analysis and Strategy of Economic Development Policy for SMEs in Indonesia

  • This study analyzes the strategy of determining economic development planning on SME improvement in Indonesia. A qualitative approach was conducted through interview questionnaires with twenty respondents, including sixteen Regional Apparatus Work Unit, Fisheries and Marine Office lecturers, subdistrict heads, and development observers. The method used is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). AHP prioritizes criteria and sub-criteria to increase economic growth, reduce poverty, and increase community participation, while indicating the sub-criteria to optimize resource potential, strengthen micro-economy, develop tourism potential, utilize fishery potential and cultivation, and improve institutional performance. The AHP weighting results based on competitiveness and regional development of Bantaeng Regency is the priority in policy-making for a solution. The research shows that the government strategy, based on the perception of the stakeholders, is: optimizing resources strategy with priority to maximize the resource-carrying capacity that includes agriculture and farm, tourism development potential strategy, self-reliance of community groups and coaching and management. Strategies to strengthen micro economy include: industrial control, SMEs, community cooperatives and infrastructure improvements, strategies to improve institutional performance work capacity and work ethic, and strategies to utilize fisheries and cultivation potential technological development, provision of processed industries of fishery products, and improvement of the quality of the environment.
