  • The e-learning industry status survey statistic provides information about the actual conditions of supply and demand of the e-learning industries. NIPA (National IT Industry Promotion Agency) has published the annual report of the survey results since 2004. Due to the 9th version of the KSIC (Korean standard industrial classification) revised in 2008, a refinement of the sampling design for the survey becomes necessary, especially that for the business demand sector. This article, based on the 9th revision of the KSIC, constructs a stratification of the target population used for the e-learning industry status survey on the business demand sector. Classification of strata in the business population is based on the industrial type and employment scale of business. Under the stratified population, we design a sampling scheme by using the power allocation method that enables us to satisfy a target coefficient of variation of each industrial stratum. In order to secure an accurate survey results based on the proposed sampling design, we consider the problem of calculating the design weights, derivation of parameter estimators, and formulas of their standard errors.

  • Currently, it is not popular to use the STEP based product information in the construction drawing files, in spite of the importance and possibility of using various product data in drawing files on the CALS/EC environment. This paper aims to demonstrate a construction drawing information management system based on ISO 10303/STEP. To achieve this aim, the authors have analyzed the current construction drawing information classification hierarchy widely used for domestic and international, and examined the material data connection mechanism within CAD drawing data, and finally investigated the management systems for construction documentations and drawings in a public companies. Therefore, the expected benefit of the proposed system is that STEP drawing information management will be done standardization and the information of STEP construction drawing can be managed, shared and supported design business through materials data connection.

  • This paper firstly introduces a classification model for designing the architecture of backup centers in terms of business continuity management. We propose that the replication solution, the level of disaster recovery, and the outsourcing style as three important factors that help explain the architecture of backup centers. We provide the details of each factor of the model and apply them to the real world cases of backup centers in Korea. We conclude that the model is well fitted to many cases of currently available backup centers and can provide backup center architects with a well classified architecture model with specific guidelines.

To evaluate that informatization was propeled well or informatization level is high can be dangerous work extremely by only once-over-lightly some factors, organization information ability is superior or infrastructure is constructed well. Therefore, an evaluation for industrial information systems that consider corporation's external environment and internal environment configurationally and objective estimation through this is required in national dimension. • In Korea, small and medium sized domestic enterprises(SMEs) play an pivotal role in the national economy, accounting for 99.9% of all enterprises, 87.9% of total employment, and 48.3% of production. and SMEs was driving a real force of the development of national economy in many respects such as innovation, job creation, industrial diversity, balanced regional development. Despite their crucial role in the national development, most of SMEs suffer from a lack of R&D capabilities and equipments as well as funding capacity. Public R&D institutes can provide SMEs with valuable supplementary technological knowledge and help them build technological capacity. so, In order to effectively support SMEs, government and public R&D institutes must be a priority to know about the factors influencing the performance related to technology transfer and technological collaborations. In particular, SMEs are not only taking up a large portion of the national economy, but also their influence in politics and economy so strong that raising the competitiveness of small and medium-sized companies is a national policy goal that must be achieved in order to achieve sustained economic growth. For this reason, it is necessary to look specifically at the relationship between concepts such as the environment, strategy, and organizational culture surrounding the enterprise to enhance the competitiveness of SMEs. The paper analyzes 665 companies to find out which organizational culture affects their performance by classification and type of business of SMEs. This study demonstrated that when SMEs seek consistency in their external environment, strategies, and organizational structure to maintain their continued competitiveness. According to three-way analysis of variance (3-way ANOVA) indicates that classification of industries in SMEs has statistically significant main effects, but the type of business and organizational culture do not have significant effects. However, the company's organizational performance (operating profit) of SMES were found to differ significantly in comparison between groups according to classification standards of industries, and therefore adopted some parts. In addition, an analysis of the effect of interaction between the three independent variables of small and medium-sized enterprises has shown that there are statistically significant interaction effects among classification, types of business, and organizational cultures. The results shows that there is an organizational culture suitable for each industry classification and type of business of an entity, and is expected to be used as a basis for establishing promotion policies related to the incubation and commerciality of small and medium-sized venture companies in the future.

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify problems of current educational facility data management and recommend a standardized terminology classification system as a solution. In addition, the research aims to present a preemptive and integrated disaster and safety management framework for educational facilities by seeking efficient business processes through secured data quality, systematic data management, and external data linkage and analysis. Design/methodology/approach A terminology classification system has been established through various processes including filtering and analysis of related data including laws, manuals, educational facilities accidents, and historical records. Furthermore, the terminology classification system has been further reviewed through several consultations with experts and practitioners. In addition, the accumulated data was refined according to the established standard terminology and an Excel database was developed. Based on the data, accident patterns occurred in educational facilities over the past 10 years were analyzed. Findings In the study, a template was developed to collect consistent data for the standardized disaster and safety management terminology classification system in educational facilities. In addition, the standardized data utilization methods are presented from the viewpoint of 'education facility disaster safety data management', 'data analysis and insight', 'business management through data', and 'leaping into big data management'.

  • The basis of economic statistics for evaluating the security industry's growth and inter-industry impacts is to create a standardized industry classification along with the scope of the security industry. The industrial classification should be written in such a way that it complies with and complies with the standards of the international and domestic standardized standard industrial classifications. Representative classifications of information security, physical security, and convergence security as well as classification of products and services related to security at present are not in line with the criteria of industrial classification based on the characteristics of production activities for products. The results of the convergence security industrial classification study are also consumer-oriented classification, which differs from the supplier-centric classification officially used in statistics, law, and policy enforcement in the present country. In this study, we first summarized the criteria of Korean and international industrial classification, and then examined whether the current classification of security meets these criteria. Next, to examine the classification directions of newly formed industries such as security industry, we reviewed some cases of domestic industrial special classification and types, and proposed the industrial classification criteria and direction of the security industry on the basis of them.
