  • 2003년부터 시작하여 현재 진행 중인 L전자의 BPM 구축은 한국에서는 최초의 전사적 BPM 구축으로 다른 기업의 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. L전자는 세계 TOP 3의 Global Brand을 이룬다는 목표 하에 기업 업무 혁신(process Innovation)을 가동하였다. 끊임없이 가속화되는 세계화나, IT의 발전 등으로 인한 기업 경영 환경의 변화는 전략의 변화에 따른 업무 처리 절차, 방식의 변화를 초래하고 있기 때문이다. 본 사례는 L전자가 BPM(Business Process Management)을 이용하여 업무 프로세스를 체계적이며 지속적으로 개선하려는 노력에 대하여 구체적으로 살펴보고, BPM을 통한 혁신의 의미와 가능성에 대하여 논의한다.

Multi-Sided Networks of Digital Platform Ecosystem: The Case of Ride-Hailing in Indonesia

  • The business world has been undergoing a digital transformation. The adoption of multi-sided digital platform across the world has sped up this transformation. Multi-sided digital platforms create value by mediating interactions and transactions of distinct groups of users. A platform and its stakeholders need to be considered as a business ecosystem. Elements or components in the ecosystem exchange values and together form a network of exchange values. The objective of this paper is to construct a framework for crafting and observing digital business ecosystems. The foundation theories used to construct the framework are transaction cost economy (TCE), multi-sided markets, and value network. This paper uses Go-Jek, a growing ride-hailing platform from Indonesia, as a case to discuss how the framework works in mapping Go-Jek's digital business ecosystem, and then explain its expansion strategy. This paper has both theoretical and managerial contributions. It provides a formal definition of digital business ecosystems as a network of exchange values. The framework does not only help studies the existing business ecosystems but also can be used to craft a new business ecosystem. It can also be used to study value exchanges within the ecosystem, assessing or crafting ecosystem expansion strategies.

경제학 관점에서 부분유료화 게임 비즈니스 모델 분석 및 사례 연구 (The Boundary Conditions of Free-to-Play Business Model in the Economic Perspective: a case study)

  • 게임에 있어서 부분유료화 사업 모형은 한국에서 처음 상용화가 되어서 이제는 가장 보편적인 사업 모형이 되었으나, 이에 대한 이론적인 내용에 대해서는 잘 알려지지 않았다. 이에 따라 현장에서는 그동안 부분유료화 모형 설계에 있어서 시행착오나 영감에 기초하여 진행해 왔다. 본 연구에서는 경제학의 가격차별화 이론을 바탕으로 부분유료화 사업 모형을 설명하고, 이를 통해 시장지배력, 고객 구분 역량, 그리고 고객간 거래 금지라는 부분유료화 사업 모형의 세가지 핵심조건을 이론적으로 도출하였다. 그리고, 사례 분석을 통해 본 연구에서 제안한 핵심조건이 만족되지 못하였을 경우 어떻게 부분유료화 사업모형이 붕괴되는지에 대해 살펴보고 이를 통해 부분유료화 사업모형 기획의 이론적 배경을 제시하고자 한다.

산업재해 예방을 위한 재정지원사업의 수요자 설문조사를 통한 제도적 개선방안 연구 (A Study on the Institutional Improvement Plan through Consumer Survey of Financial Support Programs for Industrial Accident Prevention)

  • The purpose of this study is to conduct surveys on demanders using financial aid projects to prevent industrial accidents and to improve them. It is divided into clean business and loan support business through the structured questionnaire. In the case of clean business, the following results were obtained. Most of the applications were received within three months after application. The most important factor considered by the consumer is the amount of support, which is considered to consider the substantial improvement as follows.The expectation for the reduction of industrial accidents after the project was 96.1% and compared to before and after the actual business, it showed a 46.8% decrease from the previous year. In addition, the cost decreased by 21.8%, the facility utilization rate increased by 24.4%, the sales increased by 15.9%, and the average number of workers increased by 6.0. As for the sustainability of the business, 86.6% of the respondents said that they should continue to do so. The following results were obtained in the case of loan support projects. Industrial accidents decreased by 45.2% from the previous year. Costs decreased by 19.4%, facility utilization rose by 26.7%, sales increased by 14.9%, and the number of workers increased by an average of 2.8. In the case of suppliers, prevention of industrial accidents at the business sites participating in the clean business was the highest factor (67.0%). 89% of respondents were aware of the disposal criteria for ineligible suppliers. 50.6% of the respondents answered that it is appropriate to maintain the current level, and 39.4% of respondents answered that they should strengthen. The prices for the support items were more than 15% higher than the market prices.

온라인.오프라인 기업(企業)의 명성(名聲), 신뢰성(信賴性), 사업영역(事業領域) 유사성(類似性)이 신규(新規) 의류(衣類)브랜드 태도(態度)에 미치는 영향(影響) (The Effect of on-line and off-line Corporate Reputation, Credibility and the Similarity of Business Area on the Consumer's Attitude toward the Clothing Products with Brand)

  • This study is, to the special company with corporate brand, to investigate the effect of its reputation, credibility and the similarity of business area on consumer's attitude toward its clothing products. It is another topic of the study to reveal statistical significance in comsumer's attitude when naming new product with two different brand strategy. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, there was positive relationship between corporate reputation and consumer's attitude toward new brand and also between corporate credibility and consumer's that. Second, corporate credibility is proven to be grown in proportion to company's reputation. In other words, a corporate credibility is grown with a corporate reputation. Third, the influence of similarity or fitness of business area has a positive effect on a attitude toward new brand. The case of use the new brand name, the variable had low effect on attitude toward new brand, comparing to the case of use the existing brand name but seems to be statistically significant. Fourth, comparing to the inclination toward company's product based on brand name, strategy of supporting brand extension is more effective than that of new brand name on evaluating company's reputation, credibility and the similarity of business area. Fifth, the similarity of business area and the interaction of brand name on the basis of the strategy of use the existing brand name(;brand extension strategy) and new one have significant effect on the inclination to a brand. When participating a new business, it is more effective that a company is extending its business where the similarity of business area is growing. For the case of low similarity, the brand-new strategy is proven to be effective.

비즈니스 리엔지니어링의 핵심 도구로서 그룹웨어에 관한 연구 (A study on the groupware as a critical tool for business reengineering)

  • Information technology's potential for changing processes is widely acknowledged and various information technologies exist as a tool making business reengineering possible. Groupware is one of information technology that typically work in concert to bring out change in processes. This paper attempts to explain the importance of groupware as a critical information technology for business reengineering by developing a methodology of applying groupware to business reengineering. In order to understand the applicability of groupware to business reengineering, this paper has the following objectives. 1) Examines how the capability of groupware can play as a chang lever or enabler of process innovation explicitly. 2) Propose a integrated business reengineering methodology that incorporates process, process environment and information technologies specifically. A case study was used to provide the insight how groupware can play as a enabler of process innovation. The case was analyzed according to the reengineering methodology we proposed.

Different Concepts of Customer-Supplier Relationship - An Exploratory Case Study of Korean-German Business Activities in the Shipbuilding Industry

  • In the last several years, South Korea's shipbuilders have been dominating global shipbuilding. Thus, many global suppliers in the shipbuilding industry, especially German supply companies, are eager to get the Korean major shipbuilders as their customer. This study analyzed the different ways of business behaviours of German and Korean businessmen regarding customer-supplier relations. Furthermore, this paper aims to examine the kinds of challenges the international businessmen are confronted with and how this affects everyday business between German suppliers and Korean customers, using several case examples. Finally, backgrounds of cross-cultural problems and conflicts of German-Korean business relations are identified and explained.

  • 네트워크 패러다임의 변화 속에 새로운 제품, 기술, 서비스와 더불어 비즈니스 모델을 제시하는 기업이 새로운 강자로 부상하고 있다. 기업들은 네트워크가 가져온 시공간의 제약 해결 등을 얻기 위해 기존의 비즈니스를 네트워크 공간으로 옮기기 위한 노력을 진행하였으며, 이러한 과정에서 기업들은 전에 없던 새로운 비즈니스 모델을 출현시키고 있다. 본 연구에서는 비즈니스 모델 변화를 위해서는 고객이 아닌 새로운 네트워크 가입자 개념으로 비즈니스 모델에 대한 재해석이 필요함을 강조한다. 비즈니스에 대한 근본적인 변화 없이 네트워크의 특성만을 이용하고자 하는 기업들은 고객의 니즈를 잃어버리는 구조적 관성에 빠질 수 있다. 하지만, 사례 기업은 고객이 원하는 가치가 무엇인가에 주목하였으며, 이를 통해 고객을 새로운 네트워크 가입자의 개념으로 살펴봄으로써 기존 비즈니스 모델을 새롭게 변화시키고 나아가 기업간 관계 형태를 변화시켰다. 본 연구에서는 사례분석을 통해 네트워크 관점에서 비즈니스 모델의 변화과정 및 가치곡선과 고객경험사이클을 적용하여 이에 따른 성과를 설명함으로써 네트워크 관점에서의 비즈니스 모델에 대한 재해석의 필요성을 제시하였다.

An Exploratory Study of Applying Case-Based Reasoning to Business Applications

  • As the effective use of information has gained greater attention over the decade, various conventional AI techniques have been applied to develop expert systems for business applications. Case-based reasoning (CBR) makes data more accessible by organizing it as a set of examples from past experience that can be generalized and applied to current problems. This paper illustrates basic concepts of CBR and addresses the system discussed in this paper can provide a basis for building more flexible and adaptable expert systems for business applications.
