  • This study is to calculate the Real-Time contact point of ellipses between the vessels ships by Ship's Bumper Theory. The Real-Time contact point of ship's bumper ellipses can be used the important tool to feel the perceived risk evaluation of ship's collision risk by VTS operator. In this paper, The warning information to feel the risk of collision between the vessels in advance is able to help them for VTS operation, We will study the technique to certify the perceived risk of collision from several different angles by programming.

  • This study is to calculate the Real-Time Overlapped Area of ellipses with weight by Ship's Bumper Theory. In this paper, The Real-Time Overlapped Area of ellipses with weight can be used the important tool to feel the perceived risk evaluation by navigator.   • The effectiveness of vehicle parts made through extrusion is in the limelight because of the advantages of high strength stiffness materials can be produced and the number of processes can be drastically reduced. Therefore, the parts should have sufficient stiffness and be lightweight enough to improve fuel efficiency. However, the application of extruded aluminum requires pre-bending technologies that can manufacture the complex designs profiles demanded by vehicle parts. The aim of this research is that the development of the variable curvature extrusion technology that can produce a variety of curvature. In order to produce a variable curvature, the guide transfer speed and transfer time should be controlled properly. The guide transfer speed and transfer time were examined by the theoretical analysis. A model was developed to simulate the deformation behaviors of extrusion and bending process from the symmetric bumper with range of radii from 1863mm to 2163mm. The theoretical analysis and FE analysis were verified through experimental method.

A Study on the Ship Channel Design Method using Variable Bumper Area Model (I) (가변범퍼영역모델을 이용한 항로설계기법(I))

  • To design ship channel is one of important factors for planning and developing a port. In most case, the core factors for designing ship channel are the layout and width of channel provided the net underkeel clearance is secured to be safe enough to pass. In this study, Variable Bumper Area(VBA) model is applied to design and assess ship channel. This model reflects ship's particular, ship domain theory, ship speed and mariner's ship handling skill and experience, especially external forces which cause leeway, set and drift and the change of ship maneuvering characteristics. A real time, full mission shiphandling simulator is used to analyze ship dynamic data according to mariner's ship control, external forces, ete. This model defines Domain degree and Domain-index for assessing the efficiency and safety of the channel. The proposed model is applied to Ulsan new port plan which has a channel width of 1.5 times the length of the largest vessel, a radius of 5 times the length of the largest vessel in a curve of 57 degree centerline angle and SBM facility adjacent to the lateral edge of channel. The result of this study shows that the width of the channel and radius of channel curve are suitable for the target ship but the difficulty of ship handling is caused by the large course change and SBM located in the vicinity of channel.

산업용 안전모의 충격흡수 이론

  • 산업용 안전모는 그 기능상 耐貫通性과 衝擊吸收性이 중요하다. 이중내관통성은 별로 어려움이 없으나 충격흡수성은 무게 및 크기가 제한되고 극히 간단한 안전모의 구조에 충격을 충분히 흡수하는 Bumper작용까지 하여야 하므로 기준에 합격할수 있는 안전모를 제작하기 위하여는 여간 어려운게 아니다. 이에 論者는 일정한 무게의 추가 일정한 높이에서 자유낙하하여 안전모에 충격을 加하고서 반발할때까지의 안전모의 수직운동(변형)이 어느정도 이루어저야 하는지에 대하여 관심을 갖었다. 즉 모체든 착장체든 또는 모체와 착장체의 연결장소에서든 일정한 충격량을 받았을때 모체의정점(낙하물과 최초로 접한부분)이 수직으로 S'의 거리 만큼 움직여 주고 운동이 정지된다고 보았을때 S'과 m(추의중량), S(추가 떨어지는 높이) Fi(충격이 흡수되고 남은 충격력)와의 관계식을 뉴톤의 운동법칙으로 부터 수학적 방법으로 유도 함으로서 시험조건 및 검정 기준에 주어진 수치인 m, S, Fi,을 대입하므로서 S'을 알 수 있는바 이것을 기초로 안전모의설계및 제조된 안전모의 충격흡수 정도를 용이하게 판단 할 수있다.

화학반응에 의한 무기-유기 결합물질에 관하여

  • 플라스틱재료의 강도, 인성, 경직성, 탄성 등과 같은 기계적 특성을 개선시켜 주기 위해 kaoline, talc, sand, quartz 등과 같은 규산염을 첨가하여 복합재료를 만들고자 하는 연구가 상당히 활발하다. 이와 같이 다양한 규산염이 복합재료의 강화재 또는 첨가제로 사용되는 반면에, 규산염가운데 공업적으로 이용도가 가장 높은 montmorillonite는 아직도 복합재료의 강화재로 폭 넓게 이용되고 있지 못한 실정이다. 이론적으로 볼 때, 높은 분자량을 지니는 무기고분자 (예; inorganic montmorillonite)와 유기고분자 (organic polymer)를 gkadbk는 실질적인 무기-유기 결합물질의 생성이 가능할 수 있으며, 이에 대한 연구 또한 시도되고 있다. 이렇게 해서 얻게 되는 무기-유기 복합체, 즉 montmorillonite로 강화된 플라스틱 복합재료 bumper를 사용함으로써 접촉 또는 충돌시 충격완화의 효과를 가져 올 수 있어 안정성이 좋아지고, 내파괴성이 높기 때문에 비강화 플라스틱재료보다 더 오래 사용할 수 있으므로 경제성이 좋을 뿐만 아니라, 폐품의 감소로 인해 환경보호에도 일익을 담당할 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 이러한 montmorillonite강화 플라스틱 복합체를 얻기 위해 우선 무기-유기 고분자물질의 형성이 가능한가를 조사분석하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 amontmorillonite의 층사이에서 화학반응이 수행될 수 있는 충분한 공간을 얻고자 Na-Montmorillonite 층사이의 Na+-이온을 긴 알킬사슬을 취하는 유기 양이온으로 치환시켜 주었다; 이렇게 해서 얻은 유기양이온-몬트모릴로나이트 층간화합물 (Organic cation-Montmorillonite Intercalations-complex)내에 유기 단분자 (organic monomer)를 추가적으로 삽입시킨 후, montmorilonite의 층내에서 증합반응시켜 고분자화해 줌으로써 무기고분자와 유기고분자가 서로 결합된 무기-유기고분자 결합물질을 형성하고자 하였다. X-선 및 IR-분석결과 층내에서의 유기단분자의 고분자화 반응이 성공적으로 이루어 졌음이 입증되었다.

A Study on the Divorce Experienced by Marriage Immigrant Women (결혼이주여성 이혼경험 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the life experiences of fifteen marriage immigrant Asian women who went through running away from their home countries, marrying with Korean men, divorcing from their husbands, and coping with many difficulties after their divorce in Korean society. In order to conduct this study grounded theory methods have been employed. The central phenomenon digged out from this study was 'resistance to baffled reality' (i. e. dislocation). The causal conditions which brought about the central phenomenon were 'escaping for survival' and 'experiencing the gap between reality and expectation. 'The intervening conditions included 'getting to know the reality of their husbands,' 'losing hope,' and 'not being able to pull themselves together.' The contextual conditions consisted of 'being treated as maids,' 'becoming victims of family violence,' 'making up their minds to survive,' 'securing future life,' 'being marginalized,' and 'being aware of themselves as strangers.' The action/interaction strategies on the central phenomenon were 'building support systems,' 'building up will for new life,' and 'reconstructing social identity.'The final outcome was 'arranging places of new settlement.' The divorce was classified as four types: 'coping and growth,' 'emancipation and settling down,' 'being overwhelmed by livelihood,' and 'continuous wandering.' Based on these results, this study provided a few political and practice suggestions to prevent family violence and divorces among multi-cultural families, and also to bumper the impacts of divorce.
