여객선대 배치 및 경로 선택 문제를 위한 최적화 모형 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Optimization Models for Passenger Ship Fleet Routing)

  • In the transportation literature, many useful decision making models for ship routing and ship scheduling have been studied. But the majority of these studies are on industrial carriers, bulk carriers, or tankers. It is quite recent that a few optimization models have been developed for liner fleet routing and scheduling problems. However there have been few academic studies on decision making models for the routing or scheduling problems of passenger ships in spite of their economic importance in the entire shipping industry. The purpose of this study is to develop analytic decision making models for ship routing and scheduling for the passenger ship fleet. This study gives two optimization models, one is a linear programming model and the other a goal programming model. These two models are solved easy by commercial linear programming softwares and suggest optimal ship routing plans and many other useful implications for passenger ship fleet managers.

  • In spite of the widespread use of stiffend plates in ship structures, it is very difficult to analysis these directly. So, in conventional analysis of plate structures, above structures are used to be idealized as orthotropic plate or grillage structures. Lately, the development of large computers, it is able to apply the optimum techniques to structural design. In this paper, the double bottom structure of Bulk Carrier was idealized into flat grillage which is composed of intersecting beam stiffencers primarily loaded mormal to its surface. And strength analysis was carried out by using the finite element method based on displacement. And further, according to variation of floor space and double tobbon heightm, the optimum design was carrid out by using Hooke and Jeeves direct search method.

  • Since 1960 tankers and bulk carriers have rapidly increased in size up to 500, 000 dwt. in operating as main system of transportation for the international trade at sea, and studies are doing carried out by various groups with a view to increasing the size still further. However, the service speed of these ships has remained almost constant, and steering devices of them have nearly not changed, comparing with regular size of a dry cargo ship. This creats the dituation where stopping distance and advance are proportionally longer for larger ships. In case of collision at sea, these vessels have been arised some serious casualties, such as sinking, fire and oil pollution. This paper analyzers a study for the handling of super huge vessels to avoid collision at sea, basing on the results of the crash astern test and turning test of them.

전술적 선박 스케쥴링의 최적화 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimization Analysis of Tactical Ship Scheduling)

  • This paper treats the optimization analysis of tactical ship scheduling problems in the world seaborne bulk trade. The authors use the term 'tactial' to describe the ship scheduling problem where the owners should employ skillful tactics as an expedient toward gaining the higher profits per period in short term. Relevent research and related problems on ship scheduling problems are reviewed briefly and a model for the tactical ship scheduling problem formulated as Set Problem is introduced by modifying the previous work of Fisher(1989). The reality and practicability of the model is validated by some ship-ping statistics. Proper solution approaches are outlined in the context of computational tractability in tackling the Mixed Integer Propramming. Some underlying consideration for the computational experiment is also mentioned. The authors conclude the paper with the remarks on the need of user-friendly Decision Support System for ship scheduling under varying decision environment.

  • In the recent years, major ship registers have demanded improved safety on the hull stress of large bulk carriers which are on navigation or cargo handling in harbour. Under these circumstances, a system that monitors hull stress and ship condition is being more and more important. If efficient and appropriate navigational information is given, safety of navigation would be greatly improved. The major ship registers of the globe are investing a great effort on the development of a system that monitors the hull stress of ship. Using this system, information of hull stress and ship motion is given to the users and also the data is stored on the external data storage system simultaneously. Through this study, a software that monitors hull stress was developed. Not only can randomized input-data of the standard hardwares be applied to the system, but also this system can be operated on and applied to real hardware systems.

통계적 자료에 의한 선박의 경하분포추정법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Estimation of Light Weight Distribution on Ship by Statistical Data)

  • From time to time the light weight distribution has been discussed, It play an important part in the preliminary design state because of its influence on the available deadweight. Up to the past, the Light weight distribution acting on the ship has been estimated graphically by means of integraph or approximately by the simplified calculations. Recent development has made it possible to use Lloyd's coffin method or Robb's coffin method for Bulk Carrier, Tanker, Cargo ship where the hull weight is distributed based upon the $C_B$ The hull weight distribution is then super-composed by number of fixed weights(i.e. machinery , equipment, etc.) The authors built up the method by which the Light weight distribution is calculated using a computer. In the usual calculations, the higher accuracy is aimed at, the longer time would be taken, therefore the accuracy would not be so good as to be expected if the time is restricted. The method using a computer can dissolve these and calculated accurately in shorter time the Light weight distribution with less data.

비대선형의 조종 유체력 미계수 및 간섭 계수에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Manoeuvring Hydrodynamic Derivatives and Interaction Coefficients of Full Form Ship)

  • In marine transportation of bulk cargoes such as crude oil. ore, coal etc., a lot of full form ship which have poor manoeuvrability were presented in many countries. Since ship manoeuvrability depends upon many parameters namely hydrodynamic derivatives, interference factors etc., as external forces, it is of great importance that we investigate these values of parameters on analysis of manoeuvrability. In this paper, we investigated and analyzed interaction coefficients among hull-propeller-rudder for a full form ship by captive model test in circulating water channel, and then compared with experimental results by PMM test. A tanker model ship which has 0.83 as block coefficient and MMG mathematical models were used in this experiment. Almost same tendencies were found in qualitative analysis, even though more serial experiments were demanded in quantitative analysis.

규칙파에 대한 조종운동의 응답함수에 관한 고찰 (A Study on Response Functions of Manoeuvring Motion of a Ship in Regular Waves)

  • Final aim of this paper is a study on simulation of automatic steering of a ship in random seas. In order to achieve this aim, we need excitation due to random seas. The excitation may be estimated from energy spectrum of irregular waves and response functions of manoeuvring motion of a ship in regular waves. This paper deals with response functions of manoeuvring motion of a ship in regular waves. We discussed New Strip Method(NSM) of sway-yaw-roll coupled motions in regular waves. NSM is defined in space axes system and that has been used to predict seakeeping performance of a ship in waves. But ship manoeuvring is defined in body fixed axes system. So we cannot use NSM theory itself in predicting manoeuvring performance of a ship in waves. We introduced relationship between space axes system and body fixed axes system. And we developed modified NSM which was defined in body fixed axes system and was able to be used in manoeuvring motion of a ship in waves. We calculated sway and yaw response functions of manoeuvring motion of a bulk carrier in regular waves.

자동차 항만의 서비스 품질요인이 고객만족 및 충성도에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구: 평택항 자동차부두를 중심으로 (A Study on the Effect of Automobile Port's Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty: Focusing on the Pyeong-taek Automobile Port)

  • 본 연구는 자동차항만의 서비스 경쟁력 강화방안을 도출하기 위하여 자동차항만 서비스 품질의 척도를 추출하여 자동차항만 서비스 품질이 고객만족에 미치는 영향력과 고객만족도가 고객 충성도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하였다. 서비스품질 분석을 위해 유형성, 신뢰성, 반응성, 확신성, 공감성 등 5가지 변수를 측정도구로 이용하여 자동차 항만의 특성에 따라 서비스품질 요인을 도출하고자 했다. 분석방법으로는 설문조사 설문문항을 통해서 서비스품질요인 척도를 도출하고 개념타당성을 검증하기 위해 탐색적요인분석, 수렴타당성 검증을 위해 확인적 요인분석, 신뢰성 확보를 위해 cronbach's ${\alpha}$계수를 활용하여 분석하였다. 품질요인들 사이의 관계성 분석을 위해 상관관계분석을 그리고 서비스 구매자와 제공자 두 집단간의 서비스 품질요인이 고객만족에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구 분석결과 공감성 요인이 자동차항만 고객 만족에 가장 큰 영향력을 주는 품질 요인이었으며 고객 만족도를 높이기 위해서는 첫째, 직원교육을 통해 고객에 대한 배려, 고객의 이익을 우선시 하는 태도 등 서비스 마인드를 높이는 방안이 필요하고 둘째, 고객 필요시 항만서비스 및 탄력적인 하역시간 운영이 필요하고. 마지막으로 정보시스템을 통한 물류업무지원과 노사화합을 통해서 자동차 항만의 공감성을 높일 수 있는 방안이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

부산항 방파제 진입항로의 강한 횡조류 환경에서 선속에 따른 조종자의 선박조종의 결과 검토 (Analysis of Ship Handlers' Maneuvers with respect to Ship's Speed under Strong Cross Current in the Breakwater Channel of Busan Port)

  • 이 논문은 부산항 방파제 진입항로에서 강한 횡조류가 있는 경우 60,000 DWT의 파나막스 선박의 조종에 있어 선속에 따른 영향을 파악하기 위하여 3년 이상의 선장 경력을 가진 76명의 조종자가 선박조종 시뮬레이션을 실시하고 그 결과를 선박의 근접도 계측, 제어도 계측, 조선자의 주관적 계측을 통하여 분석하기로 한다. 조류는 남서 방향, 2노트이고 독립 변수인 선속은 각각 5노트, 10노트로 한다. 시뮬레이션의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. ${(1)}$ 부산항 방파제 진입항로에서 선속 5노트인 경우 드리프트 앵글을 $10^{\circ}$ 이상으로 하는 것은 선수가 방파제 입구를 벗어나게 되므로 조종자는 심리적으로 이 각도 이상은 취하지 않는 경향이 있다. ${(2)}$ 선속 5노트에서의 경우가 선속 10노트보다 주관적 계측치, 선박의 근접도, 제어도가 상대적으로 크게 나타나고 있다. ${(3)}$ 선박의 제어도 계측 항목을 무차원화하여 이를 단일 지표로 표시하는 방법을 제안하였다.
