This study aims to investigate and improve the present state of technical standard on building mechanical system in Korea. At this point be tormented the energy depletions are big problem on the rise. Building mechanical system is configured air conditioning, sanitation, urban equipment. In the design of equipment, installation, maintenance, applies to all devices in the field of industrial equipment and general engineering equipment field are within bounds to say that all of the equipment field. However, domestic technology level is still fly short of international standards in architecture, we spent much energy. Because of this, find the current situation and identify the problems look up ways to improve them.

In the area of domestic construction industry, recently, standardization of construction. globalization of constructional and a building information arc required to advance increase productivity, shorten the term of works and reduce the cost of construction. The objective of this is to offer basic data of process new thesis and development for automated building equipment design system based on 3D CAD building information. This study contribute the development of automated Building equipment design system based on 3D which helps to conduct the equipment design handily and quickly.

It is attempted that the standardization of the construction, globalization of the engineering construction and an information oriented construction spread by setting a goal of the advanced construction industry and productivity increase of human resources within the country. Hence, it has been brought in the information oriented construction of BIM based technology for the field of construction and equipment of Korea. The current study that examines the possibility of application of 3D ; that is BIM based programs of building equipment, and make better the problems of 3D building equipment system through the Pilot Test, indicates the way of growth development about the construction of building equipment process system.
