  • 생산 현장에서 기기의 운영과 관리는 제품의 품질 및 기업의 수익성과 직결된다. 그러나 정상적인 작동을 하고 있는 시스템에서 고장의 시점과 고장의 종류를 예측하기 곤란하며 따라서 잔여 가동 시간이 얼마인지도 예측하기 힘들다. 본 논문에서는 산업용 기계, 공정과 의료기기 등 신뢰성이 요구되는 Brushless DC 모터의 상태 변화의 추이를 관찰하여 진단의 특징점으로 사용한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 상태천이 모텔은 고장의 시점과 고장의 종류를 예측할 수 있으며 유지보수의사결정에 도움을 줄 수 있다.

  • This paper describes the procedure of getting information about auto-tuning of PID regulator by the injection of high step input, called limited input, during a transient time of control. The key point is that system identification and control could be continuously executed. This means that the system information obtained by limited input despite of system uncertainty can be continuously applied to the PI regulator. Simulation and experiment result of brushless DC motor system having monotone increasing step response demonstrate the usefulness of proposed auto-tuning algorithm.

  • This Paper presents a positioning control method of the LBLDCM(Linear Brushless DC Motor) under friction. The friction may cause steady state position error. So it is necessary to consider friction effect for precision positioning control. The proposed control method uses disturbance observer algorithm and friction compensation. The experimental results of the proposed control method based on the disturbance observer are presented to show its effectiveness.

  • In KSLV-I, actuation system for thrust vector control of kick motor was configured as electro-hydraulic servo actuation system and consisted of actuators, hydraulic power supply system, hydraulic power distribution system and control system. In case of hydraulic power supply system, we use EMDP(Electric Motor Driven Pump) to supply hydraulic power. Generally, we use brushed DC motor for EMDP but it is not easy to operate EMDP using brushed DC motor at a high altitude. Hence, we are developing EMDP using brushless DC motor to use at a high altitude. In this study, we will explain control system for BLDC motor to drive hydraulic pump.

  • This paper describes a indirect sensing method for the rotor flux position of interior permanent magnet (IPM) brushless DC motors. The phase inductance of an IPM motor varies appreciably according to the rotor position. The waveform characteristics of the terminal voltage of IPM brushless DC motors is analysed and a simple and practical method for indirect sensing of the rotor position is proposed. A compact sensorless drive is implemented and tested using a 87c196mc 16-bit microcomputer. The experimental results show the validity of the proposed method and the drive works well from 500 to 7,200rpm.

  • The magnetization directions of a polar magnetized ferrite bonded magnet are analyzed by finite element method (FEM). The influence of the width of SmCo magnets for magnetic field generation is investigated. The surface flux densities of the polar anisotropic magnets are analyzed and compared according to the pole number and thickness of the magnets. And the electromotive force (EMF) values of brushless DC motors with the magnets are investigated. The validity of the analysis method is verified by comparing the analyzed results with measured ones.

  • In this paper we proposed a new sensorless drive system for the trapezoidal type brushless DC motor which does not use any mechanical position or speed sensor and applicable to the systems requiring a constant speed and torque such as Fan. For this a novel indirect rotor position sensing technique based on a detailed analysis of the terminal voltage characteristics is proposed in this paper. And a sensorless drive system for the brushless DC motor is implemented using a 87c196mc fo the main microprocessor and a power FET for the inverter. The experimental results will show the validity of the proposed indirect sensing method and the practical use of the sensorless drive
