연마재함유 휠브러쉬에 의한 볼스크류 연마기술 (Surface Finishing of Ballscrew by Abrasive Wheel Brush)

  • The pupose of this study on the surface finishing is to examine the performance of brushing as a means of reducing the surface roughness of the precision theaded shafts in ball screw assemblies. Ball screws provide superior performance compared to other types of screw feeds in terms of static and dynamic rolling resistance,backlash,and wear characteristics. The Reduction of the surface roughness of the lead shaft in ball screw assembiles is essential for precision movement,high speed/low noise tracel, and for low wear/long life. To reduce machine dependent errors that would influence the surface roughness compared with other lapping or polishing techniques,experiments will be performed using special wire brushes to polish precision ground shafts. The best results were obtained using the Al /sab 2/O /sab3/ brushes, with the Al /sab 2/O /sab3/ #500 grit brush producing a surface finish of approximately 0.7 .mu.m, and the Al /sab 2/O /sab3/ #600 grit producing a surface finish of approximately 0.8 .mu.m. Both of these results were produced at the highest wheel polishing speed of 3520 rpm. The SiC #500 brush produced a surface roughness of approximately 1 .mu.m at 3520 rpm.

  • Noise cause is dividing to fluid noise by exhaust flow of fan and vibration noise by rotational vibration of motor. Until now, measuring method has been used to measure vibration by the accelerometer, this method has been not measured for the vibration in some parts of brush and commutator because of motor construction. This research was purposed on the accurate analysis. using laser vibration analyzer, of noise cause against the difficult part in old times. By using this measured data, we would like to use for the design of silent motor.

  • In this paper, the intoner noise reduction for subway railroad vehicles was studied by improving transmission loss of carbody panels and side doors, and on-line tests were conducted to examine the exterior noise levels at various running conditions. Also the transmission loss for design candidates of the carbody specimen was measured in two reverberation rooms. From the results of the tests, side door gap is the most dominant factor affecting the Interior noise level of subway railroad cars with a sliding typed side door. The next one is revealed to transmission loss of a floor panel. To improve the transmission loss of the carbody, many activities were conducted such as, treatment of resilient and sound-absorbing materials and reducing the gap of the side door by adopting a brush and rubber, etc. The estimated interior noise level for modified car which is designed with improved carbody panels is lower than original car by about 5㏈.

  • Nowadays, noise and vibration phenomena of a disc brake system have been given various names that provide some definitions of sound and vibration emitted such as grind, grunt, moan, squeak, squeal, judder and wire brush. The most common and annoying noise of a disc brake system is squeal noise. It is defined as noise whose frequency content is 1 kHz and higher with excessively high and irrigating sound pressure levels. In this paper, the noise and vibration characteristics of a disc brake system have been investigated to develop the fusion-type friction material, which overcomes the low steel and non-asbestos organic friction materials. For the purpose, both experimental evaluation and complex eigenvalue analysis have been carried out.

  • The vacuum cleaner motor runs on very high speed for the suction power. Specially, the motive power is provided by the impeller being rotate on very high speed. And centrifugal fan consists of the impeller, the diffuser, and the circular casing. Due to the high rotating speed or the impeller and small gap distance between the impeller and diffuser, the centrifugal fan makes very high noise level at BPF and harmonic frequencies. In order to calculate the sound pressure of centrifugal fan, the unsteady flow data is needed. And Noise cause is dividing to fluid noise by exhaust flow of fan and vibration noise by rotational vibration of vacuum cleaner fan motor.   • In recent years for propulsion of cooling fan in cars are more used electrical motors than the engine direct coupled type. But the electrical motor which is now used has the brush and the commutator. Because of the brush and the commutator the electrical motor has short life time, low efficiency and mechanical- electrical noise. Therefore it is tried to develope brushless dc motor. The motor is located in the hot air from the radiator. The motor temperature increases high and the increasing of the motor temperature rolls big in its character. The cooling fan motor has relative small in size and input voltage is low. For 300 w output power must be the current of the motor high which causes high copper loss. In this paper will be tested and analysed characteristics of a dc motor which is now used for cooling fan and a BLDC motor will be designed with same character of the brushed motor and with considering of improvement of the efficiency. After design the motor should be analysed and tested.

  • 본 연구에서는 자동차 송풍장치용 slotless Outer Rotor BLDC 모터를 설계하고 제작하여 기존의 모터들의 단점을 개선하였다. 제안된 모터는 Brush를 제거하여 회전 시 DC 모터의 기계적 마찰에 의한 소음을 해결하고, 구조적으로 Slotless Air-Gap 권선을 사용하여 BLDC 모터 슬롯에 의해 발생되는 코깅 토크를 개선하였다. 그리고 외부 회전자에 Magnet을 부착시키고 내부 회전자와 동시에 회전하기 때문에 자속의 변화가 생기지 않아 구조적으로 철손을 원천적으로 줄여 높은 효율을 가진다.

  • The vacuum cleaner motor runs at very high speed for suction power. Specially, motor power is provided by the impeller being rotated at very high speed. The centrifugal fan consists of the impeller, the diffuser, and the circular casing. Due to the high rotating speed of the impeller and small gap distance between the impeller and the diffuser, the level of noise in the centrifugal fan is at BPF(Blade Passage Frequency) and its harmonic frequencies. In order to calculate the sound pressure of centrifugal fan, unsteady flow data are needed. The cause of noise is obtained by dividing the fluid noise by exhaust flow of fan and vibration noise by rotational vibration of vacuum cleaner fan motor. Until now, an accelerometer has been used to measure vibration. However, it can not measure vibration in some parts of brush and commutator because of motor construction and 3-D vibrating mode. This study was conducted to perform accurate analysis of vibration and aerodynamic sound for fan motor in a vacuum cleaner using a laser vibration analyzer. A silent fan motor can be designed using the data measured in this study.

  • Traditional vacuum cleaner adoptsa highly rotating centrifugal impeller for generating suction region at lower pressure. The rotational speed is very high at 35,000 to 40,000 rpm and accessory structure such as a circular brush at the base plate of the cleaning devices is equipped for gathering dusts. Highly rotating impeller is effective for low pressure generation but causes noise problems. Recently, the unwanted noise is removed by installation of air-pump, instead of a centrifugal impeller, and the internal flows of the modified system are estimated in numerical and experimental approach, respectively.
