There is iCOD with representative service of broadcast and communication Convergence. This the superhigh speed Internet about under using is the service which provides information service, the video contents and broadcasting and others with TV. But this service when it searches broadcasting information of different Channel, again must analyze the stream of broadcasting there is a problem point. This thesis hereupon iCOD broadcasting services it searched efficiently from the terminal and in order the fact that it selects from iCOD broadcasting streams SI information about under extracting SD&S base iPG XML documents it created and it transmits with the distant mote cast the method which and it planned it embodied.

A Study on Uses and Gratifications to the Viewing of Famous Celebrities' Internet Personal Broadcasting: Focused on Chinese Viewers' Motivation and Satisfaction (유명 연예인 인터넷 개인 방송 시청에 대한 이용과 충족 연구: 중국 시청자의 시청동기와 시청만족도를 중심으로)

  • Many stars are delivering various contents such as real time talks through Internet personal broadcasting to communicate with fans. For stars and entertainment companies that expect the effect of communicating with fans through Internet broadcasting, it can be said that it is important to grasp viewers' viewing motivation and satisfaction. Thus, we analyzed the viewing motivation and satisfaction of Chinese viewers' Internet personal broadcasting of famous celebrities based on the uses and gratifications approach. To this end, an online survey was conducted, and as a result, 'emotional motivation' and 'functional motivation' were found as Chinese viewers' motivation for viewing Internet personal broadcasting of famous celebrities. In addition, it was found that viewers' satisfaction increased as the viewers' 'emotional viewing motivation' increased. From the results of this study, it seems that a strategy of subdividing programs by reflecting the audience characteristics such as age and occupation is needed. It can be a way to expand the number of viewers and the intended broadcasting effect by designing and producing programs for personalized celebrity internet broadcasting by segmenting audiences.

  • 본 논문에서는 방송용주파수를 좀 더 효율적으로 활용하여 시청자가 쉽게 지상파방송을 직접 수신할 수 있도록 DTV 방송 수신환경 개선 방법에 대해 찾아보고 난시청해소와 차세대방송에 필요한 주파수 소요량을 정량적으로 제시하고자 한다. 특히 디지털전환 이후에 회수되는 700MHz 대역 (108MHz 주파수폭)에 대하여 UDTV 와 Full-HD 3DTV 기술을 적용한 차세대방송을 구축할 때 난시청해소와 시청자와 방송과 산업에 미치는 효과를 제시한다.

  • In this paper, we have undertaken a comprehensive investigation into the current state of anti-drone technology due to the increasing concerns and risks associated with the widespread use of drones. We carefully analyze anti-drone technology, dividing it into three crucial domains: detection, identification, and neutralization methods. This categorization enables us to delve into intricate technical details, highlighting the diverse techniques used to counter evolving drone threats. Additionally, we explore the legal and regulatory aspects of implementing anti-drone technology. Our research also envisions potential directions for advancing and evolving anti-drone tech to ensure its effectiveness in an ever-changing threat environment.

  • This study investigates the decisive factors affecting the survival or collapse of cable networks in the Korean paid broadcasting market from 1993 to 2010. The effects of performance variables discussed in previous studies were verified through survival analyses. According to the results, the most influential factors in the survival of cable networks were horizontal integration (MPP), channel genre, the scheduling of HDTV content, and the proportion of access program scheduling. These findings imply that the differentiation strategy of content suppliers is the most decisive factor among all business performance-related factors. Specifically, the content supply power and strategy of the program provider (PP) have the greatest influence on cable network viability. The present study is meaningful as the first attempt to establish the performance of PPs in Korean pay broadcasting markets through the viewpoint of organizational mortality. Accordingly, the present study can supplement the results of cross-sectional studies conducted with smaller samples.

  • 이 논문에서는 MPEG-21 환경에서의 툴 서버의 역할과 기능을 제안한다. MPEG-21의 목적은 멀티미디어 콘텐츠의 전자적 생성, 배포, 거래를 투명하게 이용할 수 있게 하여 상호 운용 가능한 멀티미디어 프레임워크를 제공하는 데에 그 목적이 있다. MPEG-21을 구성하는 주 요소로서 DIP(Digital Item Processing)과 DIA(Digital Item Adaptation)이 있다. DIP는 디지털 리소스에 메타 데이터 정보를 구조화하여 표현할 수 있는 DI(Digital Item)를 생성하고 소비하는 기능을 가진다. DIA는 사용자가 터미널 또는 네트워크 특성에 맞게 고유의 DI를 적응시켜서 보내주는 기능을 한다. 툴 서버(Tool server)는 DIP 또는 DIA로부터 필요로 하는 소프트웨어 툴을 검색하여 적합한 툴을 제공해 주는 기능을 한다. DIA가 DI 자체를 사용자 요구에 맞게 적응시켜 소비시켜 주는 일을 한다면 툴 서버는 터미널 환경에 맞추어 DI를 소비하는데 적합한 툴을 찾아서 구동시켜 주는 기능을 한다. 본 논문에서는 DIP와 DIA에서 사용되는 툴 서버에 대한 역할과 기능을 제안한다. 이 논문은 다음과 같이 구성된다. 1장에서 MPEG-21 환경에서 툴 서버의 필요성과 역할을 알아본다. 그리고 2장에서는 툴 서버의 구조와 각 모듈별 기능을 살펴본다. 3장에서는 툴 서버를 DIP와 연동했을 때 시나리오를 설명한다. 마지막 4장에서 결론을 맺는다.

Living Labs based on IT utilization and development of local community

  • Living Lab is one of open movements regarding social innovation, which mainly utilizes scientific technology to improve local residents' life value. Even though various attempts have been made, Living Lab projects that deal with actual life-related problems of local communities are not sufficiently being made. This study aims at organizing existing Living Lab studies and to draw political issues in perspective of solving regional problems and developing local communities. Above all, policies should be proceeded in a way that fully understands and reflects local problem since communication with local residents or end-users will be increased. It is required to support certain products or solution development that fits specific local situation based on their resource and demands. In addition, local small businesses or start-up companies should be given opportunities to conduct experiment and revise new technology, product or service on the spot. It would be a useful example to utilize ICT technology and contents such as local cable TV network, for Living Lab. Living Lab can establish itself as an effective reformation process only if it remains to function for the sake of solving issues of local community and residents. Practical undertones would be able to be obtained once this exploratory study turns into empirical case study.

A Simple Cooperative Transmission Protocol for Energy-Efficient Broadcasting Over Multi-Hop Wireless Networks

  • This paper analyzes a broadcasting technique for wireless multi-hop sensor networks that uses a form of cooperative diversity called opportunistic large arrays (OLAs). We propose a method for autonomous scheduling of the nodes, which limits the nodes that relay and saves as much as 32% of the transmit energy compared to other broadcast approaches, without requiring global positioning system (GPS), individual node addressing, or inter-node interaction. This energy-saving is a result of cross-layer interaction, in the sense that the medium access control (MAC) and routing functions are partially executed in the physical (PHY) layer. Our proposed method is called OLA with a transmission threshold (OLA-T), where a node compares its received power to a threshold to decide if it should forward. We also investigate OLA with variable threshold (OLA-VT), which optimizes the thresholds as a function of level. OLA-T and OLA-VT are compared with OLA broadcasting without a transmission threshold, each in their minimum energy configuration, using an analytical method under the orthogonal and continuum assumptions. The trade-off between the number of OLA levels (or hops) required to achieve successful network broadcast and transmission energy saved is investigated. The results based on the analytical assumptions are confirmed with Monte Carlo simulations.

  • As there is a growing tendency to represent the 3D content instead of the 2D content, researches for the stereoscopic image and video are under way in a variety of fields such as acquisition compression, transmission, authoring and display. The authoring technique for stereoscopic contents has given emphasis to virtual stereoscopic contents. Thus the authoring technique for stereoscopic pictures is insufficient. When we compose a stereo scene with stereoscopic pictures, stereoscopic contents may not match the stereo scene because each stereoscopic picture may have different camera condition. To solve this problem, stereoscopic pictures have been modified manually. It is a laborious work and will be spent much time. Also it is difficult for a user who does not have an elementary knowledge of stereopsis. In this paper, we propose the synthesis method to compose a natural stereo scene with stereoscopic still pictures and moving pictures. Experimental results show that the proposed method in this paper allows a user to synthesize stereoscopic contents easily and compose a stereo scene conveniently.

  • This study is a sustainability study of K-Music beyond K-Pop through New Media. New media literally means 'new media'. When TV, classified as legacy media, first appeared in the world, it was an innovative new media platform. Of course, it is considered the most traditional legacy media. However, the definition of new media inevitably changes with the times. Most of the media called new media today are based on online and mobile. This thesis focuses on popular music including crossover traditional music genre. And we define popular music exported abroad as K-pop, and propose the possibility of globalization of Korean music using K-pop users and new media, a metaverse based K-pop audition platform, as consumers and suppliers in the global market. Hallyu, the studying of K-Pop through the study of attitudes and economic effects of K-pop, such as reactions to the spread of K-pop and the reactions of fans who like K-pop, are constantly being discussed in various ways. But there has been no case of cultural technology research that linked the sustainability of Gugak as the Korean music through new media to the K-pop business platform. As the overflowing data pours out in the virtual space as an act that gives the meaning of existence, the online is able to become an open market that provides reliable information all over the world. Therefore we would like to propose on the sustainability of Korean music through the 'Korean Traditional Music Broadcasting Metaverse Audition' beyond the K-pop business model as the K-Music content in the cultural technology era.
