As YouTube is rapidly growing as an information platform, we investigated practical impacts of YouTube knowledge content and creator characteristics on viewer satisfaction and purchase intention. In so doing, an empirical survey was conducted among the viewers of <Chekgrim>, one of representative book YouTube channels in Korea. A total of 641 valid samples were analyzed. This study aims to understand the impact of knowledge contents on YouTube, and creator characteristics on viewer satisfaction and purchase intention. Specifically, for the study, content characteristics were divided into three sub-factors: entertainment, information, and interactivity, and the creator characteristics were divided into two sub-factors: intimacy and professionalism. Viewing satisfaction and purchase intention were set as dependent variables. The results of various analyses confirm that creator characteristics have direct and indirect effects on viewers' purchase intentions, and in particular, intimacy has the greatest influence on purchase intentions. This is expected to be a meaningful empirical analysis for future influencer marketing strategies and effective communications between content creators and consumers.
Purpose Recently, Internet personal broadcasting has been widely spreaded as a new media type by replacing traditional legacy media such as TV. Considering this phenomenon, this study aims to explore the effect of Aristoteles' persuasion factors on Internet personal broadcasting from a rhetorical view. The reason why users watch the Internet personal broadcasting is that they are persuaded by creator's expertness, empathy, or content usefulness. These factors can be regarded as persuasion factors. Therefore, with Aristoteles' rhetorical persuasion factors composed of ethos, pathos, and logos, this paper tries to investigate how persuasion factors affect user's emotional\ attachment and voluntary donation intention. Design/methodology/approach This paper proposes a model of the relationships among three rhetorical factors, user's emotional attachment, and donation intention. Specifically, ethos is regarded as creator's expertness and trustworthiness, and pathos refers to creator's empathy and social interaction. Last, logos refers to content usefulness and credibility. For testing a hypothetical research model, this study collected 468 surveys and empirically tested hypotheses using a structural equation model. Findings This study investigated how rhetorical factors (ethos, pathos, and logos) and emotional attachment further influence user's donation intention. The findings suggest that rhetorical factors of ethos and pathos enhances emotional attachment, followed by donation intention. Contrary to an expectation, however, logos was not significantly related to emotional attachment. Creators of Internet personal media and MCN providers should focus on the different effects of rhetorical factors and pay attention to the role of emotional attachment to encourage user donation.

This study aims to explore the Internet personal broadcasting quality factors that influence viewer satisfaction and dissatisfaction based on the motivation-hygiene theory. Specifically, the quality factors that affect viewer satisfaction of Internet personal broadcasting are derived from the perspectives of extrinsic (contents usefulness and media usability), intrinsic (emotional/cognitive/behavioral enjoyment and creator characteristics), and social motivation (visibility, subjective norm, image, sociality). The data of 200 respondents was used to analyze the relative impact of satisfaction and dissatisfaction with the Kano model, which assumes that viewer satisfaction at both functional and emotional levels varies over quality attributes. In the empirical analysis, the quality factors were classified into attractive, one-dimensional, must-be, and indifferent quality. In addition, it was found that the customer satisfaction coefficient was high in the order of uniqueness, differentiation, and visibility. On the other hand, as a result of applying the dissatisfaction coefficient, it was identified in the order of donation, content reliability, and creator responsiveness.

We look at the initial stage of Meta (previous Facebook)'s new metaverse platform and investigate its platform design in pre-launch and ignition life stage. From the Rocket Model (RM)'s theoretical logic, the results reveal that Meta firstly focuses on investing in key content developers by acquiring virtual reality (VR), video, music content firms and offering production support platform of the augmented reality (AR) content, 'Spark AR' last three years (2019~2021) for attracting high-potential developers and users. In terms of three matching criteria, Meta develops an Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered translation software, partners with Microsoft (MS) for cloud computing and AI, and develops an AI platform for realistic avatar, MyoSuite. In 'connect' function, Meta curates the game concept submitted by game developers, welcomes other game and SNS based metaverse apps, and expands Horizon Worlds (HW) on VR devices to PCs and mobile devices. In 'transact' function, Meta offers 'HW Creator Funding' program for metaverse, launches the first commercialized Meta Avatar Store on Meta's conventional SNS and Messaging apps by inviting all fashion creators to design and sell clothing in this store. Mata also launches an initial test of non-fungible token (NFT) display on Instagram and expands it to Facebook in the US. Lastly, regarding optimization, especially in the face of recent data privacy issues that have adversely affected corporate key performance indicators (KPIs), Meta assures not to collect any new data and to make its privacy policy easier to understand and update its terms of service more user friendly.

YouTube, the online video streaming platform, has become popular and influential around the globe. Due to the development of science and technology, people without expertise in filming can now easily produce their videos with unique content. Many people are more eager to become a popular YouTube creator because they can earn money by placing commercials or Products in Placement (PPL) in their video clips. However, it is yet unknown what genres of YouTube videos are popular. YouTube creators have their channels where they upload videos of a certain type of genre. This study investigates video genres of the top 250 YouTube channels in English-speaking countries (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia) using Social Blade, which is a research website. The ranking is set based on the number of times people watched a video ("Video Views"). We handsomely analyze popular genres of the channels and also the YouTube ecosystem, and it will be meaningful for today's new media era.
This paper describes the design and implementation of Personal Mobile Broadcasting Service which bases on embedded Linux and it supports personal broadcasting in wireless network environments. Recently, with the advent of various wireless networks and the increased use of high performance mobile devices, the demand for personal mobile broadcasting is being increased. The personal mobile broadcasting service makes it possible that mobile users create contents using their own mobile devices while they are moving or they are in any place. And then, it sends the created contents to server in real-time where their blogs are. Users connected to the content creator's blog can play the contents in real-time. With the implemented personal mobile broadcasting service, mobile users can share multimedia contents in real-time through wireless networks. And, it also helps users to construct their own broadcasting stations where they can broadcast the scene of the accident or public performance in real-time.

This paper deals with philosophy of quality criteria for HDR and WCG as major feature of technical characteristics of the UHD Alliance.

The originality and variety of the fashion creators positively affected the emotional and cognitive responses of consumers. Adventurous spirit positively affected emotional response, whereas opinion leadership positively affected cognitive response. In addition, the social and professional attractiveness of fashion creators positively affected consumers' emotional and cognitive responses. Emotional and cognitive responses positively affected consumers' sustainable relationship orientation. The originality and opinion leadership of the fashion creators positively affected the three factors of sustainable relationship orientation, while variety positively affected communication and relationship sustainability. Fashion creators' social and professional attractiveness positively affected the three factors of sustainable relationship orientation, and physical attractiveness positively affected relationship sustainability. The results of this study are expected to provide useful data on the direction of fashion startups using personal media and marketing as well as distribution strategies in the fashion industry.
