철근콘크리트 바닥판의 실험체 형상에 관한 해석적 연구 (Numerical Research for the Specimen Shape of the RC Slab)

  • Accoarding as a specimen for reinforced concrete bridge deck was designed by each researcher's opinions, its size and shape was variable. Therefore, it makes difficult to comparison with other experiments. In the result of researching papers for design method of reinforced concrete bridge deck specimens, there is hardly found. The target of this study is introduction of the design method of a reinforced concrete bridge deck specimen. The most important point for the specimen design is materialization of the curvature of the real bridge deck. The result of this study appears that the specimens thickness effects highly to fit for the real reinforced concrete bridge deck's curvature.

강박스거더교의 설계 유효온도 산정을 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study for Estimation of Effective Temperature for Design in Steel Box Girder Bridge)

  • 강박스거더교의 온도하중을 위한 유효온도를 산정하기 위하여, 강박스거더교의 시험체와 실교량에서 온도 데이터가 2년간 측정되었다. 이 실험체와 실교량의 온도 측정결과를 바탕으로 대기온도에 대한 최고 및 최저 유효온도를 2014년, 2015년, 그리고 연속 2년간 산정하였다. 산정된 최고, 최저 유효온도는 EURO code, 그리고 현행 도로교 설계기준과 서로 비교 평가되었다. 2년간(2 year) 측정한 데이터 기준으로 최대 유효온도와 Euro code의 결정계수는 교량 시험체에서 R=0.894, 실교량에서 R=0.927이 산정되며, 최저 유효온도는 교량 시험체에서 R=0.992, 실교량에서 R=0.813이 산정되었다. 또한 연구 결과는 도로교설계기준(한계상태설계법)의 최고온도와 유사하든가 약간 초과하는 것으로 평가되었다.

강상자형교의 설계온도하중을 위한 최고 유효온도 산정 (Evaluation of Maximum Effective Temperature for Estimate Design Thermal Loads in Steel Box Girder Bridges)

  • 합리적인 설계 온도하중을 산정하기 위하여, 강상자형교의 시험체가 실물 규모로 제작되었다. 박스단면의 크기는 폭 2.0m, 높이 2.0m, 길이 3.0m이며, 슬래브의 두께는 17 cm이다. 온도 게이지를 사용하여 1년간 온도를 측정하였다. 또한 인근에 시험체와 유사한 방향으로 설치된 같은 형식의 실교량에서도 같은 기간에 온도를 측정하였다. 교량시험체는 21지점, 실교량에서는 19지점에서 온도를 측정하고 각 측점에서 측정온도를 통계 처리하여 추세선과 표준 오차를 산정하고, Euro code에서 제시한 대기온도 $24^{\circ}C{\sim}38^{\circ}C$에서 각 지점의 유효온도를 산정하였다. 교량시험체 모형에서는 $35^{\circ}C$이상에서 Euro code와 실교량과 비교하여 유효온도가 $2^{\circ}C{\sim}3^{\circ}C$ 정도 높게 산정되었다. 제시된 시험체와 실교량에서 Euro code에 대한 유효온도의 상관계수는 87.4%, 93.2%로 계산되었다. 국내 도로교설계기준에 따르면 합성교에서 최고기온은 $40^{\circ}C$로 규정하고 있는데 이는 본 연구에서 산정된 실교량과 Euro code의 유효온도와 거의 근접하는 것으로 평가된다. 각 지역별 최고 온도에 대한 Contour map에서 산정한 대기온도별 최고온도와 본 연구에서 제시한 유효온도를 접목하면 국내 교량 설계 시 각 지역의 특성을 고려한 설계기준이 확립될 수 있을 것이다.

  • The surfacing of bridge-decks are object to secure trafficability and to protect bridge face from impact load of traffic volume and other external conditions. But the deformation of pavements and cracks happen due to the damage of the bridge-decks surfacing from the increase of the traffic, short maintenance period and continuous vibration of bridge. This test is to make the 3-type high performance concrete that has different mixing ratio and is added the blast furnace slag, fly ash and silica respectively, and to compare 3-type high performance concrete of normal high strength concrete of $400kgf/cm^2$ strength through the static loading test and fatigue test. And test specimen is united floor slab and pavement for the durability of bridge.

  • This study is intended to propose a precast bridge deck system, which has ribbed loop joints between the decks and lacks internal tendons to improve the workability of existing precast deck system. A composite bridge deck specimen was fabricated using the proposed precast deck system, and static and fatigue load tests were conducted to evaluate the structural behavior and the crack pattern of the deck. Leakage test of the deck joints was also conducted and finite element analysis was carried out to compare with the test results.

  • 합리적인 온도 설계기준을 검토하기 위하여 콘크리트 슬래브가 없는 강박스거더 모형 시험체를 제작하고, 박스거더교의 웨브와 다이아프램에 높이별로 온도게이지를 부착하고 일년 중 최고 기온에서 온도를 측정하였다. 또한 실 교량에서 온도를 측정하고 모형시험체의 온도를 비교, 검증하였다. 콘크리트 슬래브가 없는 교량 시험체 박스거더의 웨브와 다이아프램의 높이에 따른 온도차를 분석하고, 온도경사 모델을 제시하였다. 제시된 모델은 Euro Code와 95.8%의 상관관계를 보였으며, 국내 온도설계의 기본 자료로 제공될 수 있다.

철근콘크리트 원형 교각의 전단성능에 대한 횡방향철근의 영향 (Effect of Transverse Steel on Shear Performance for RC Bridge Columns)

  • In seismic design, hollow section concrete columns offer advantages by reducing the weight and seismic mass compared to concrete section RC bridge columns. However, the flexure-shear behavior and spirals strain of hollow section concrete columns are not well-understood. Octagonal RC bridge columns of a small-scale model were tested under cyclic lateral load with constant axial load. The volumetric ratio of the transverse spiral hoop of all specimens is 0.00206. The test results showed that the structural performance of the hollow specimen, such as the initial crack pattern, initial stiffness, and diagonal crack pattern, was comparable to that of the solid specimen. However, the lateral strength and ultimate displacement of the hollow specimen noticeably decreased after the drift ratio of 3%. The columns showed flexure-shear failure at the final stage. Analytical and experimental investigations are presented in this study to understand a correlation confinement steel ratio with neutral axis and a correlation between the strain of spirals and the shear resistance capacity of steel in hollow and solid section concrete columns. Furthermore, shear strength components (Vc, V, Vp) and concrete stress were investigated.

Strength failure behavior of granite containing two holes under Brazilian test

  • A series of Brazilian tests under diameter compression for disc specimens was carried out to investigate the strength and failure behavior by using acoustic emission (AE) and photography monitoring technique. On the basis of experimental results, load-displacement curves, AE counts, real-time crack evolution process, failure modes and strength property of granite specimens containing two pre-existing holes were analyzed in detail. Two typical types of load-displacement curves are identified, i.e., sudden instability (type I) and progressive failure (type II). In accordance with the two types of load-displacement curves, the AE events also have different responses. The present experiments on disc specimens containing two pre-existing holes under Brazilian test reveal four distinct failure modes, including diametrical splitting failure mode (mode I), one crack coalescence failure mode (mode II), two crack coalescences failure mode (mode III) and no crack coalescence failure mode (mode IV). Compared with intact granite specimen, the disc specimen containing two holes fails with lower strength, which is closely related to the bridge angle. The failure strength of pre-holed specimen first decreases and then increases with the bridge angle. Finally, a preliminary interpretation was proposed to explain the strength evolution law of granite specimen containing two holes based on the microscopic observation of fracture plane.

실물 철근콘크리트 교각의 유사동적 실험에 의한 내진성능 평가 (Pseudo-Dynamic Test for Seismic Performance Evaluation of RC Bridge Piers)

  • Pseudo dynamic test is an on-line computer control method to achieve the realism of shaking table test with the economy and versatility of the conventional quasi-static approach Pseudo dynamic tests of six full-size RC bridge piers have been carried out to investigate their seismic performance. For the purpose of precise evaluation, the experimental investigation was conducted to study the seismic performance of the real size specimen, which is constructed for highway bridge piers in Korean peninsula. Since it is believed that Korea belongs to the moderate seismicity region, five test specimens were designed in accordance with limited ductility design concept. Another one test specimen was nonseismically designed according to a conventional code. Important test parameters were transverse reinforcement and lap splicing. Lap splicing was frequently used in the plastic hinge region of many bridge columns. Furthermore, the seismic design code is not present about lap splice in Korean Roadway Bridge Design Code. The results show that specimens designed according to the limited ductility design concept exhibit higher seismic resistance. Specimens with longitudinal steel lap splice in the plastic hinge region appeared to significantly fail at low ductility level.
