여객선 해양사고 분석을 통한 안전한 항내조선 개선방안에 관한연구 (A Study on the Improvement Measures for the Safe Maneuvering of Passenger Ships in Port Area through Analysis of Marine Accidents)

  • 해양수산부는 2014. 4. 16. 발생한 세월호 전복사건 이후 안전관리 부실 문제가 제기되어 법과 제도를 강화하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고 내항 여객선에서는 최근 5년 동안 매년 평균 약 13건의 충돌·접촉·좌초사고 발생하고 있다. 특히 해양안전심판원의 재결에 따르면, 항내에서 조선 중 발생한 여객선 사고의 주된 원인은 대부분 선장의 부적절한 조선 또는 부주의라고 판단하였다. 이에 본 논문은 항내에서 발생한4건의 여객선 해양사고를 분석한 후 선장의 부적절한 조선 등 행위에 기여한 환경적·제도적·물적·인적 요인에 대해 상세히 살펴보았다. 그결과 다음과 같은 기여 요인들이 확인되었다. 첫째 환경적인 요인으로서 선회장의 크기가 기준을 충족하지 못한 사례가 확인되었다. 둘째 제도적인 요인으로서 VTS관제가 적절히 지원되지 않았고, 선장이 안전한 항내 조선을 위한 교육이 부족하며, 최신화된 해도가 제공되지 않았다. 셋째 물적요인으로서 선장이 Wing bridge에서 접·이안 조선 중 실시간으로 속력을 확인할 수 있는 속력계가 설치되어 있지 않았다. 그리고 인적요인으로서 선장이 적절한 선교자원을 지원받지 못하였고, 적절한 항해계획이 수립되지 않았다. 이에 본 논문에서는 선장의 안전한 항내 조선을 위해 기준에 맞는 선회장을 확보하는 것과 선장이 선박조종 시뮬레이션 교육을 이수하도록 하는 것 등을 개선방안으로 제시하였다.

상악측절치 수복을 위한 Cantilever bridge (STRESS ANALYSIS ON THE ALVEOLAR BONE OF CANTILEVER BRIDGES REPLACING MAXILLARY LATERAL INCISOR)

  • The purpose of this study was to analysis the stress distribution induced by three unit PFM bridges and various cantilever bridges replacing maxillary latersal incisor. The simplified two-dimensional photoelastic models used for this study was contructed in the folio- wing way. CR/R ratio was designed to be 1 : 1, 1 : 1.25 and 1 : 1.5. The pontics of cantilever bridge supported by maxillary canines consisted of wrap-around type, rest-extension type, and simple type. 3-unit PFM bridge was constructed with traditional method. 1kg vertical static load was applied on the center of the incisal edge of the pontic. The stress pattern was examined and recorded by photography. The results obtained were as follows ; 1. The magnitude of stress on the abutment root apex area of a traditional 3-unit bridge was the lowest. 2. The model of cantilevered pontic with a rest showed the relatively well distributed stress around the abutment tooth. The model with simple pontic generated the greatest stress concentration in the supporting structure of the abutment tooth. 3. As the height of bone level reduced, the rotational and vertical force increased around the abutment tooth. 4. The stress concentration of the 3-unit bridges occured on the root apex and stress concentration of the cantilever briage occured on the root apex and cervix area, 5. In the case of the cantilever bridge, stress concentrated distally on the root apex area of the abutment tooth and additional stress was observed mesially on the upper part of the root. Especially in the case of the simple pontic, was phenomenon was more apparent than the others. 6. Force applied to cantilevered pontic was transmitted to the adjacent central incisor through the contact surface. Stress was markedly observed on the mesial cervix area in the case of simple pontic and on the root apex area in the case of wrap-around type and rest-extension type.

관내 유속을 고려한 상선의 배기관용 소음기의 성능실험연구 (An experimental study on the performance of silencers for exhaust merchant ships considering air flow velocity)

  • 선박의 주기관 및 발전기의 실린더내의 폭발소음은 배기관을 통하여 연돌 상부에서 전파되어 인접한 거주구 상층부 및 bridge wing 등의 소음을 증가시키는 주 요인이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실제의 배기관인 400mm 및 600mm의 지름의 관에 대하여 0m/s 및 32m/s의 유속에 대하여 25dB 및 35dB silencer에 대하여 감음 성능을 실험하였다. 관내 유속은 축류 팬에 의하여 발생시켰고 실제 소음기(silencer)를 사용하여 감음 성능을 실측하였다.

  • The vibration analysis is necessary at the design stage to improve crew's life on board and to prevent the vibration troubles of the hull structures and main machineries prior to the construction. Especially, if high vibration problems occur on the global structures like the hull girder and the deckhouse after construction, it takes lots of time, labor and cost to cure them and thus accurate analysis of global vibration should be performed from the design stage. In this study, some factors for the global vibration analysis have been investigated and the way to be applied to the analysis has been suggested.

  • This study deals with design and application of silencer to reduce the exhaust noise, especially at the low frequency range below 200 Hz which is main contribution for the bridge wing noise and the external noise of ships. The designed silencer is composed of side branch resonator, Helmholtz resonator and absorbing material. The resonating frequencies of resonators are set to be the firing order frequencies of the generator engine. Based on the on-board measurement result, it is verified that the designed silencer can effectively reduce the exhaust noise of generator engine.

Simulation of crack initiation and propagation in three point bending test using PFC2D

  • Three points bending flexural test was modelled numerically to study the crack propagation in the pre-cracked beams. The pre-existing double internal cracks inside the beam models were considered to investigate the crack propagation and coalescence paths within the modelled samples. Notch configuration effects on the failure stress were considered too. This numerical analysis shown that the propagation of wing cracks emanating from the tips of the pre-existing internal cracks caused the final breaking of beams specimens. It was also shown that when two notches were overlapped, they both mobilized in the failure process and the failure stress was decreased when the notches were located in centre line. However, the failure stress was increased by increasing the bridge area angle. Finally, it was shown that in all cases, there were good agreements between the discrete element method results and, the other numerical and experimental results. In this research, it is tried to improve the understanding of the crack propagation and crack coalescence phenomena in brittle materials which is of paramount importance in the stability analyses of rock and concrete structures, such as the underground openings, rock slopes and tunnel construction.

문둥이박쥐(Eptesicus serotinus)의 배설물을 이용한 먹이원 분석 (The Diet Composition of the Serotine Bat, Eptesicus serotinus Revealed by Faecal Analysis)

  • 문둥이박쥐(Eptesicus serotinus)의 먹이원 구성을 파악하기 위하여 총 25개체의 암컷 성체로부터 배설물을 수집하여 분석하였다. 박쥐의 포획은 경북 안동시의 문둥이박쥐 집단 서식지가 확인된 교량을 대상으로 하였으며, 2014년 5월부터 9월까지 매월 5개체를 대상으로 하였다. 총 100개의 배설물이 수집되었으며, 고배율 현미경(50 ${\times}$ binocular microscope)을 이용하여 곤충의 목(Order)별로 구기(mouthpart), 다리(leg), 날개(wing), 더듬이(antenna), 딱지날개(elytra) 등 구분할 수 있는 특징을 이용하여 동정하였다. 배설물 분석결과 문둥이박쥐의 먹이원으로 이용된 분류군은 딱정벌레목(Coleoptera), 벌목(Hymenoptera), 파리목(Diptera), 노린재목(Hemiptera) 등 4개였다. 먹이원 가운데 딱정벌레목은 6월을 제외하고 5, 7, 8, 9월 모두에서 확인되었으며, 특히 5월과 7월에는 오직 딱정벌레목만 확인되었다. 그 외 노린재목, 파리목, 벌목은 각각 9월, 6월, 8월에 먹이원으로 이용되는 것으로 나타났다.

Prediction and analysis of structural noise of a box girder using hybrid FE-SEA method

  • With the rapid development of rail transit, rail transit noise needs to be paid more and more attention. In order to accurately and effectively analyze the characteristics of low-frequency noise, a prediction model of vibration of box girder was established based on the hybrid FE-SEA method. When the train speed is 140 km/h, 200 km/h and 250 km/h, the vibration and noise of the box girder induced by the vertical wheel-rail interaction in the frequency range of 20-500 Hz are analyzed. Detailed analysis of the energy level, sound pressure contribution, modal analysis and vibration loss power of each slab at the operating speed of 140 km /h. The results show that: (1) When the train runs at a speed of 140km/h, the roof contributes more to the sound pressure at the far sound field point. Analyzing the frequency range from 20 to 500 Hz: The top plate plays a very important role in controlling sound pressure, contributing up to 70% of the sound pressure at peak frequencies. (2) When the train is traveling at various speeds, the maximum amplitude of structural vibration and noise generated by the viaduct occurs at 50 Hz. The vibration acceleration of the box beam at the far field point and near field point is mainly concentrated in the frequency range of 31.5-100 Hz, which is consistent with the dominant frequency band of wheel-rail force. Therefore, the main frequency of reducing the vibration and noise of the box beam is 31.5-100 Hz. Experimental study on propagation behavior of three-dimensional cracks influenced by intermediate principal stress

  • Many laboratory experiments on crack propagation under uniaxial loading and biaxial loading have been conducted in the past using transparent materials such as resin, polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), etc. However, propagation behaviors of three-dimensional (3D) cracks in rock or rock-like materials under tri-axial loading are often considerably different. In this study, a series of true tri-axial loading tests on the rock-like material with two semi-ellipse pre-existing cracks were performed in laboratory to investigate the acoustic emission (AE) characteristics and propagation characteristics of 3D crack groups influenced by intermediate principal stress. Compared with previous experiments under uniaxial loading and biaxial loading, the tests under true tri-axial loading showed that shear cracks, anti-wing cracks and secondary cracks were the main failure mechanisms, and the initiation and propagation of tensile cracks were limited. Shear cracks propagated in the direction parallel to pre-existing crack plane. With the increase of intermediate principal stress, the critical stress of crack initiation increased gradually, and secondary shear cracks may no longer coalesce in the rock bridge. Crack aperture decreased with the increase of intermediate principal stress, and the failure is dominated by shear fracturing. There are two stages of fracture development: stable propagation stage and unstable failure stage. The AE events occurred in a zone parallel to pre-existing crack plane, and the AE zone increased gradually with the increase of intermediate principal stress, eventually forming obvious shear rupture planes. This shows that shear cracks initiated and propagated in the pre-existing crack direction, forming a shear rupture plane inside the specimens. The paths of fracturing inside the specimens were observed using the Computerized Tomography (CT) scanning and reconstruction.

시공조건에 따른 심층혼합처리 개량체의 강도에 관한 연구 (Strength of Improved Soil on the Work-conditions of Deep Mixing Method)

  • 심층혼합처리공법은 항만기초, 토류벽구조, 차수벽 및 가시설, 그리고 거축기초와 교량기초 등에서 다양하게 사용되어오고 있다. 이 공법은 지반개량을 통한 침하방지와 안정성확보를 위한 지반강도를 확보하기 위해 시멘트와 혼화제를 현장토와 혼합하는데 있어서 가장 효율적이고 경제적이어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 교반날개의 각도, 교반속도 등에서 다양한 교반조건을 적용하여 실내실험을 수행하였다. 실내실험은 현장 타설장비를 1:8 비율로 축소하여 제작하였다. 최적의 교반조건을 도출하기 위하여 다양한 교반조건에 따른 심층혼합처리 개량체의 강도를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 심층혼합처리공법의 교반조건은 개량체의 강도와 형상에 아주 큰 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다.
