확장된 목표지향적 행동모델을 적용한 소비자 불매운동의도에 대한 영향요인 연구 (A Study on Influencing Factors on Consumer Boycott intention by Applying Extended Model of Goal-Directed Behavior)

  • This study is to apply a goal-directed model for ethical consumption behavior and to see which factors influence consumers' boycott intention. We identify factors related to a goal-directed model for consumers, level of ethical consumption tendency, and boycott desire; in addition, factors that affect boycott intentions were also analyzed. The results of this study are as follows. First, consumers' boycott intentions are not high and public intention motivation is relatively low. Second, negative anticipated emotion shows an indirect effect with boycott desire as a mediator. Third, ethical consumption tendency has a significant effect on boycott desire and boycott intention. Therefore, we have to let consumers know that boycott actually shows a consumer's right and that it is also necessary to conduct various ethical consumption education.

불매운동 참여의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 분노의 매개효과와 온라인 및 SNS 뉴스이용의 조절효과를 중심으로 (Study on the Factors Affecting the Intention to Participate in the Boycott: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Anger and the Moderating Effect of Online and SNS News Usage)

  • 일본의 경제보복으로 촉발된 일본제품 불매운동이 대한민국을 뜨겁게 달궜으며, 그 열기가 아직도 가시지 않은 채 현재 진행 중이다. 특히 '공정'을 중요한 가치로 여기는 MZ세대의 적극적 참여가 이번 불매운동의 성공 요인으로 평가받고 있다. 본 연구는 20~30대의 수도권 소재의 대학생 및 일반인 217명을 대상으로 소비자 불매운동 참여의도에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 확인하였다. 연구 결과, 지각된 악의성과 자기효능감, 주관적 규범이 불매운동 참여의도에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 지각된 악의성은 분노를 매개로 불매운동 참여의도에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있었으며, 이러한 전체적인 영향은 소비자들의 온라인 및 SNS 뉴스이용수준에 따라 달라지고 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 소비자 불매운동 참여의도에 미치는 다양한 영향요인을 발견하고 분노라는 정서의 매개작용과 온라인 및 SNS 뉴스이용의 조절적 영향을 종합적으로 검토함으로써 불매운동 현상을 이해하는 데 학문적, 실천적 시사점을 제공하는 데 의의를 두고 있다.

Experimental study to evaluate design procedure and proposed improvement measures for clarifier with inclined plates

  • The Standards for Water Works issued by the Korean government prescribed the insertion of inclined plates in a clarifier to enhance the settling of the suspended solids. In this study, in order to verify the role of the inclined plates, two identical laboratory-scale rectangular clarifiers were constructed and eight inclined plates were inserted into one of the clarifiers and inflow from same source was treated in both the clarifiers. Dye tests revealed that only the front three of the seven slots received the inflow at $0.57m^3/m^2{\cdot}h$, which was the highest SOR (surface overflow rate). Three different SORs, with 12 different SS (suspended solid) concentrations at each overflow rate, were fed to both clarifiers. However, the clarifier with the inclined plates failed to show an improved removal rate for the SS. In order to enable the Boycott effect within the slot, it is suggested that each slot created by the inclined plates receives equalized inflow. Moreover, collision of the inflow with the settled sludge at the bottom of the clarifier has to be avoided. These provisions, which can maximize the Boycott effect, should be added to the Standards for Water Works endorsed by Korean government.

고객참여와 심리적 주인의식의 관계에서 온라인 플랫폼 비즈니스 생태계 유형의 조절효과: 카카오와 페이스북 생태계의 비교 (Moderating Effects of Online Platform Business Ecosystems between Customer Participation and Psychological Ownership: A Comparison of Kakao and Facebook Ecosystems)

  • Purpose The business ecosystem perspective offers a new lens in which to view customers. Customers as the member of business ecosystems influence firms by participating in both the firm level activities and the business ecosystem level activities. For example, customers participate in the business ecosystems by forming interest groups, allowing their voice to be heard the within business ecosystems. Customers can also, turn public opinion around and foster the business ecosystems favorable to firms. On the other hand, as an extreme case of customer participation, customers can engage in community activities to boycott the purchase of products or services from certain firms or business ecosystems. Design/methodology/approach This study views content creation and feedback activities as customer participation in the firm level. On the other hand, word-of-mouth (WOM) and boycott activities are considered as customer participation in the business ecosystem level. This study presents a research model regarding the relationships among customer socialization, customer participation, and psychological ownership. The proposed model is validated through an empirical analysis on online platform business ecosystems. Findings When the two business ecosystems are compared, different results were drawn. In the Facebook ecosystem, boycott and psychological ownership did not have a significant relationship. However, in the Kakao ecosystem, the two had a significant positive relationship. The mediating effect of the business ecosystem type sheds a light on the mission, purpose, vision, and other values associated with the theory of the business on the customer-firm relationship. Further implications for theory and practice were discussed in this study.

패션 소비자의 가치, 지식 및 지속가능한 소비행동에 관한 연구 (The Value, Knowledge, and Sustainable Consumption Behavior of Fashion Consumers)

  • This study examines the value, knowledge and sustainable consumption behavior of fashion consumers. The study shows that universalism/harmony, security/benevolence, power, and tradition/faith have positive effects on buying/usage behavior; however, hedonism/wealth has a negative effect. Stimulation/self-direction and universalism/harmony positively influence boycott behavior; however, power has a negative influence. Universalism/harmony and politeness have positive impacts on care/disposing behavior. Consumer knowledge about fashion related environmental problems, labor practices, ethical issues and sustainable environment knowledge influence sustainable buying/usage behavior; in addition, knowledge about ethical issues and sustainable environmental problems positively influence boycott and care/disposing behavior. Moreover, there were significant differences in values, knowledge, and consumption behavior by age.

패션 소비자의 도덕적 정체성과 공감성향이 윤리적 소비태도 및 기부행동에 미치는 영향 (The effects of fashion consumers' moral identity and empathy propensity on ethical consumption attitude and donation behavior)

  • This study analyzed the effects of fashion consumers' moral identity and empathy propensity on ethical consumption attitude and donation behavior, and the effect of ethical consumption attitude on donation behavior. The survey was conducted on consumers over the 20s who experienced the donation of fashion products, 384 responses were used for data analysis. The result showed that the internality and symbolism of moral identity had a positive effect on ethical consumption attitudes. The all factors of empathy propensity positively affected eco-friendly oriented consumption, and cognitive empathy and social empathy positively affected boycott oriented consumption. The cognitive empathy, social empathy and relational empathy positively affected community oriented consumption and practice oriented consumption. Furthermore, social empathy and relational empathy positively affected recycling oriented consumption. The eco-friendly, boycott, community, and recycling oriented consumption positively affected temporal donation. The all factors of ethical consumption attitude positively affected emotional donation, and eco-friendly, community, recycling, and practice oriented consumption positively affected material donations. The internality and symbolism of moral identity positively affected temporal and emotional donation, and the symbolism except internality positively affected material donation. The cognitive empathy, social empathy and relational empathy positively affected the temporal donation and material donation. In addition, the all factors of empathy propensity positively affected emotional donation. The results of this study will contribute to the ethical product strategy, marketing, and sustainable development of the fashion industry.

문제해결 상황이론의 적용을 통한 온라인 공중의 사회적 쟁점인식과 커뮤니케이션 행위 분석: 한·일 관계악화에 따른 일본 불매운동 이슈를 중심으로 (Issue Recognition and Communicative Behavior of Online Public on a Social Issue: An Application of the Situational Theory of Problem Solving on Nationwide Civil Boycott of Japanese Goods)

  • 본 연구는 국내 온라인 커뮤니티 이용 공중(public)이 한국과 일본의 관계 악화에 따른 민간주도의 불매운동 이슈에 대하여 그 중요성을 인식하고 관련된 커뮤니케이션 행위에 관여하는 과정을 문제해결 상황이론(Situational Theory of Problem Solving, STOPS)의 적용을 통해 분석하였다. 이를 위해 지난 2019년 7월 일본의 경제보복 성격의 수출규제 조치로 인해 촉발된 일본산 제품 불매운동을 사회적 쟁점으로 선정하여, 온라인 커뮤니티에서 활동하는 공중 524명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시했다. 연구결과, 불매운동 이슈에 대한 공중의 높은 문제인식과 준거지침은 문제해결을 위한 상황적 동기에 정(+)적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 제약인식과 관여도는 정(+)적 영향을 주었으나 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다. 매개변인인 상황적 동기는 정보선별, 정보수용, 정보전달, 정보공유, 정보추구, 정보주목으로 구성된 문제해결 커뮤니케이션 행위에 모두 정(+)적 영향을 주고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 사회적 쟁점인 불매운동에 대해 중요성을 느끼고 있으며, 이에 대한 배경지식과 의지를 지닌 온라인 공중은 보다 적극적으로 문제해결을 위한 다양한 커뮤니케이션 행위에 참여함을 확인하였다. 또한 연구결과의 이론적 함의와 더불어 향후 연구의 방향성에 대해 기술하였으며, 특히 실무적으로는 정부의 공공PR 전략이 이러한 온라인 공중의 능동성과 파급력을 감안하여, 정교하게 구분된 공중의 특성에 맞는 섬세하고 효과적인 커뮤니케이션 전략을 수립-실행해야 함을 논하였다.

  • 국내 온라인 게임 시장은 게임 이용자의 특성에 맞춘 게임 서비스로 인해 급속도록 성장 및 변화를 하고 있다. 하지만 많은 이용자의 특성을 고려하다보니 표준화된 게임 서비스가 개발되지 못하여 이용자의 욕구를 충족시키지 못하고 있다. 이로 인한 고객이탈, 불매운동 등 부작용이 야기되어 기업체 매출하락과 더 나아가 시장에서의 존망에 영향을 미치기도 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 온라인 게임 서비스에 대한 이용자들의 불만족 정도와 불만족을 어떻게 표현하는지를 파악하여 온라인 게임업체의 서비스 회복에 대한 전략을 제시하고자 한다.
