Park Myoung Jin (1903-1957) was a respectable leader who disseminated dental medical education to make our path as the leading dental medical education developing a new global history of dental medicine. Dr. Park was born in Seoul on 3 July 1903. He graduated Kyongseong dental medical school and studied at the pharmacology department achieving his M.D. In 1938, as the president representing the Hanseong dentists association equivalent to the Japanese dentists association, Dr. Park participated in various events. After liberation, Dr. Park tried his best to achieve Korean dental medical education as the pursuit of ideal ego with self-centered ego. He reorganized the Kyongseong dental medical school and incorporated it to the Seoul National University dental college. Even during the Korea war, Dr. Park still sincerely carried out his duties as the director of the Seoul National University dental medical college by recruiting university entrants and turned out graduates. In 1954, Dr. Park as the director of the Seoul National University dental medical college, he frontiered an opportunity to adapt the American dental medicine by sending school staffs to study overseas. On 25 June 1954, Dr. Park received 25 years of meritorius service award presented by Seoul National University Dental Medical College. Further, on 6 Aril 1954, Dr. Park became a member of an academic research committee. In April 1946, Dr. Park was elected as the president of the Chosun Dentists Association(Korean Dental Association). On 19 May 1947, Dr. Park was also appointed as the director of the Korea dental medicine association leading the general meetings and academic conferences from 2nd through the 8th sessions. On 30 November 1954, as the president of the Korea dental medicine association, Dr. Park also published the Korea dental association publications. In 1957, Dr. Park donated the school housing for the principle of the Kyongseong dental medical school establishing the basis for the Korea dentists association center. Dr. Park also participated in establishment of the oral hygiene campaigne, dental administration policy, organization of the specialized subject delegation board members and the dental materials association. On 10 December 1955, we can recognize Dr. Park's respective historical consciousness through his declaration 'history is a true record of historical traces of a national'. Dr. Park was a living witness of the Korean dental industry. Especially, he stated that the origin of the Korean dentists association was in the Hanseong dentists association. Dr. Park overcame the pressure and indignity during the Japanese colonization. The joy of liberation did not last long since he also had to experience the fraticidal tragedy of the Korea war. Dr. Park was a professional dental specialist and a leader researching dental medicine. He was a great leader who understood the dental medicine and dedicated for the dentist association and dental medicine association with compassion for the nation and national as a Korean.
Since a large number of Akabane and bovine ephemeral fever (BEF) infection occurred in the southern part of Korea in 2010, recent information about seroprevalence of Akabane virus (AKAV) and bovine ephemeral fever virus (BEFV) has been required for preventing both diseases. In this study, serological assay against AKAV and BEFV using virus neutralization assay was conducted using 1,743 bovine sera collected from Namwon, Miryang, Yeongju and Uljin which located in Southern part of Korea from March to May in 2012. The overall seropositive rates for AKAV and BEFV were found to be 49.8% and 1.2%, respectively. The regional distribution of seroprevalence for AKAV ranged from 18.1% to 63.7%. Seroprevalences of AKAV were 63.7% in Miryang, 62.3% in Uljin, 50.7% in Namwon, and 18.1% in Yeongju. The seropositive rates for AKAV in southern part of Korea were higher than the annual average at the national level. On the other hand, seropositive rates of BEFV in four regions were from 0.3 to 3.1%. In detail, regional seroprevalences were 3.1% in Miryang, 2.0% in Uljin, and 1.7% in Yeongju, and 0.3% in Namwon. Even only one year after massive outbreaks, overall seropositive rates were very low, similar to the annual average at the nation level. This result indicates that many number of cattle infected with BEFV may be replaced by new born calf or cattle in farm may not be immunized with vaccines. To prevent another epidemic, a national wide warning should be issued and more aggressive control measure must be implied. Recent global warming phenomenon could lead to more vigorous activity of haematophagous vectors and it is possible that arboviral diseases such as AKAV and BEFV are increased. Therefore, continuous sero-monitoring and extensive vaccination combined with control of haematophagous vectors are important to effectively prevent and control diseases caused by AKAV and BEFV.
The article is intended to examine the four main vocalists, including Freddie Mercury, of the legendary rock group Queen, whose movie has generated a "Queen Syndrome" all over the world, and is widely shared by nearly 10 million viewers in Korea. In today's era of cultural content, this paper studied the relationship between their personality and character in the sense of storytelling for the four Queen members who left charismatic voices and beautiful pop music harmonies. As a theoretical background, I will focus our research on the members' psychological and human factors for the popularization of rock music, but I will apply the environmental factors that each member has been born and lived in, as well as the factors of family relations, such as parents. Queen is a band that has performed throughout the world for about 20 years, from the early 1970s to the birth and disappearance of a rock group. In sum, the four members of Queen, who have strong personalities, showed various musical possibilities by combining completely different genres such as acafella, ballad, opera and hard rock, depending on their taste and imagination, and achieved legendary fame that transcended generations by displaying excellent skills in communicating with the public. The four personality and characters, the rock group Queen and its main vocal Freddie Mercury, were the feet of association calculated by correlation from internal to external influences.
This study researched relationship between R&D capability(TC), Network capability(NC), International marketing activity(IMA) and effect to performance of Korean globalizing INNOBIZs. In former research, they found out that TC, NC, IMA effect to performance directly. But they didn't focus on the relationship between the variables and Korean INNOBIZs. Recently, Global environment of competition is getting more and more complicated. So even the companies develop the excellent product, the companies can not get superior performance than competitor as long as the company combine with IMA or NC. In this study, empirical analysis performed using covariance structural analysis for Korean INNOBIZs. As we know in former research, TC and IMA have a positive effect on performance directly. But NC does not have a direct effect on performance. Also we found out TC and NC intermediated by MC have positive effect on performance. This result is theoretically and practically suggestive that using the company developed NC in International IMA effect on Performance.
This study attempt to use secondary data from KIS-Value to understand how rapid globalization strategy affects BGF's performance defined five categories such as sales volume, return on investment, net profit per employee, increase in sales, and increase in net profit per employee. In particular, this research defines the BGF based on the export ratio within five years after the establishment and classifies BGF into three levels according to 25%, 50%, and 75% concentration of exports. The main results of this study were first, the rapid internationalization strategy was proven to have a sales effect in the short and long term, and in particular, the short term effect was more significantly compared to the long term effect. However, the impact on the return on investment(ROI) of BGF was found that the more stringent the BGF level, the more short-term effect on ROI, but the longer-term effect was diluted according to time. Third, the sales growth rate is significant in the short-term depending on the BGF level, but do not have long-term effects same as ROI. On the other hand, the growth rate of net profit has shown that the BGF strategy has a negative (-) effect over the long term. In particular, the higher the BGF level, the greater the negative impact on the increase in net profit.
Not only the government, but private corporations have contributed a lot to growth and development of culture. Corporations have mainly made charitable, dispensational Macenat activities which are separate from their business activities. Such an one-sided and charitable method of supporting culture cannot last long - Part of the reason why the number of corporations supporting culture is decreasing lies in it. In order to have sustainable partnership with culture, first, corporations should figure out needs of the other party. Second, the activities of corporations to support culture should be corporate citizenship activities which are linked to their business activities. In particular, the existing concepts of CSR and CSV have some limits. CSR separates business activities of corporations and their social contribution activities, and CSV mainly assumes corporate social activities helpful to their business activities. But, the concept of corporate citizenship suggested in this study assumes corporate activities where corporations do their best not only in their business activities, but in solution of social problems. Accordingly, searching for the ways to practice corporate citizenship, this study analyzed global agendas of UN, UNESCO, and UCLG which suggest sustainable development with culture and corporate citizenship activities related with culture among corporations in Korea and other countries. The findings and hints of the analysis are as follows. First, corporate citizenship activities can contribute to building of unique images of corporations and improvement of brand identities. Second, such activities can help corporations to be born again as life style companies by using local cultures and their attractiveness. Third, corporations should have partnership with cultural associations creating shared values and provide them with continuous and stable support. And, cultural associations should try to grow with corporations through efforts to develop attractive contents and programs harmonious with management purposes of corporations.

The purpose of this study is to examine racism in the movie ≪Green Book≫ and to find solutions to racism through discussion with students. Set in 1962 in the United States, this film depicts the process of forming a good bond with the black pianist Dr. Shirley and the driver Tony in a racist society. This study utilized the subject of race, one of the subjects covered in the humanities class in the global era of S University in the second semester of 2021. This is because, since the outbreak of racism, the problem of racism has continued to arise in the current COVID-19 pandemic situation. Therefore, the researcher looked at racism and intercultural education as a theoretical background, and looked at cases of racism in movies and cases of racism that have occurred today. The history of racism and discrimination dates back to medieval Europe and was caused by religious conflicts and was attributed to white supremacy. As a solution to this racial discrimination, international organizations suggested intercultural education. And the reason why film was used in this study is because it aims to provoke students' interest and motivation for learning by targeting first-year university students called the digital native generation who were born and grew up with the Internet. In this study, students' solutions to racism were presented using discussion, and then the researcher's solutions were presented.
Established in 2006 as the forward integration effort by Taesung Industry, the major cosmetic packaging company, TONYMOLY has phenomenally grown to one of the major cosmetic brand companies in the submarket called, 'one brand-shop' of cosmetic market since 2008, after overcoming the crisis of 'going out of business' in a couple of early years. Within a relatively short period of time, TONYMOLY's performances have dramatically improved in terms of metrics such as growth in sales revenue, the number of stores, the average sales per store, transaction value per customer, the number of monthly transactions, the number of membership-based customers, and overseas sales. In this case study, we have examined TONYMOLY's recent marketing activities which may explain the plausible reasons behind the substantial growth of a small but smart cosmetic company. Above all, the first key success factor of TONYMOLY would be found in its adherence to the clear philosophy of the customer value proposition and/or the differentiated position of TONYMOLY as a brand of providing value. Second, this brand concept of value was first penetrated and welcomed among the foothold customer target group of mid and late teens with appropriate products, while the target groups were later expanded into the age group of twenties along with expansion of relevant products. Third, its differentiation efforts have been concrete and meaningful by utilizing unique ingredients in its product development and marketing efforts, unique fun packaging, and continuously introducing new hit-selling products as well as managing steady-selling products. Fourth, TONYMOLY has been smart enough to use its limited marketing money efficiently and effectively in its marketing communication activities. Viral marketing, PPL, and concentrated media planning and execution turned out to produce effective and efficient market-based performances such as awareness, word-of-mouth, and sales. Lastly, the marketing leadership of CEO and top management, emphasizing communications and interactions, was confirmed in the relationship quality with and trust level of its franchisees and internal employees. These key success factors may explain the recent phenomenal market performances of TONYMOLY. Despite recent successes, the major issues are presented for TONYMOLY to consider for maintaining its sustainable advantages and growth. The first issue concerns TONYMOLY's choice of growth philosophy between product/brand-centric marketing and customer-centric marketing. The second challenging issue relates to how TONYMOLY can cope with 'growing pains' plausibly accompanied with the rapid growth.

This study achieves results from 22 maternity breast milk samples in total to demonstrate exposure level and risk assessment of PBDEs in Seoul area. PBDEs were detected in all the breast milk samples of the present study, indicating that general population in these Seoul area are widely exposed to these chemicals. Residue levels of total PBDEs (sum PBDEs from tri- to hepta-BDE) ranged of 0.84~13.1 ng/g lipid with an arithmetic mean and median of 3.56 ng/g lipid and 2.6 ng/g lipid, respectively. Global comparison shows that the levels of total PBDEs were relatively similar to those of China, Taiwan and European country (Sweden), and somewhat higher than those in some Asian (Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia). In the present study, however, the levels of total PBDEs in human milk are still one to two orders of magnitude lower than those in North America. Contribution rate of each congener appeared to be predominant with BDE-47, followed by BDE-153, BDE-100, BDE-99, BDE-154 and BDE-183. The sum of BDE-47 and BDE-153 accounted for more than 65% of total PBDEs in most samples. From the result of the human risk assessment of infants for total PBDEs and BDE-47 by breast milk feeding, we could find out that the average daily doses and hazard index (95th percentile) were 16.5 ng/kg bw/day and $1.2{\times}10^{-1}$ each other when nursing for 6 months after infants born. However, it was concluded that the infant health hardly had adverse seriously effects under this research condition.
Since the birth of melodrama in the early Enlightenment era, it has flowed through various cultures and media. In order to grasp the principle of differentiation of melodrama and the direction of its change, a developmental approach to the formation process of melodrama is necessary. In this regard, this paper examines the formation process of modern melodrama and its aesthetic features around the time of the French Revolution. The modern melodrama was formed in the period between the end of the 18th century and the start of the 19th century. It was born at the intersectional point of the contradictions of the modern imagination and the political paradox of the French Revolution, which demanded an autonomous citizenship but did not recognize a woman as a citizen. The aesthetic of women's sacrifice and tears reproduced in the modern melodrama is a political aspiration to restore a corrupt society by glamorizing a woman as a moral icon. This was an icon to save a society under divide and crisis and a coordination of emotions to conceal sexist violence in the politics of the exclusion of women. The aesthetic of women's sacrifice and tears reproduced in modern melodrama has consistently been considered under negative evaluation such as a play of moral hypocrisy and vulgar drama. However, the academic interest in melodrama in the 1970s has been amplified due to the "Sirk-melo" which is a transition to the new aesthetic of women's sacrifice and tears, encompassing not only women, but also races and classes. In modern society, entering the era of uncertainty, where various social problems, national disasters, and global disasters have become commonplace, 'the aesthetic of women's sacrifice and tears' are shifting from gender differences to various victim narratives. Reviewing new theoretical trends and changes of recent melodrama as well as analyzing specific works are left as follow-up tasks.Since the birth of the melodrama in the early Enlightenment era, it has flowed through various cultures and media. In order to grasp the principle of differentiation of melodrama and the direction of its change, a developmental approach to the formation process of melodrama is basically necessary. In this regard, this paper examines the formation process of modern melodrama and its aesthetic features around the time of the French Revolution.
