This study was conducted to identify the impact of adolescents' dietary behavior on their stress perception and provide basic data for education programs linked to customized nutrition education by gender. In this study, the 2019 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey was used, and a total of 57,303 middle·high school students were selected. Controlling adolescents' age, school record, economic status, residence type, subjective health and body type perception, and the dietary life variables designed with breakfast, fresh foods(fruit, vegetables, milk, water), processed foods(carbonate beverage, energy beverage, sweet beverage, fast food) were analyzed to have an effects on the stress recognition of adolescents. Breakfast had a negative(-) effect on stress perception in all genders of adolescents, and in the case of fresh food, water for boys and fruit for girls had the highest negative(-) effect on stress perception, and in the case of processed foods, energy drink was the dietary factor that had the highest positive(+) effect on adolescents' stress perception. These results suggest that it is necessary to develop a dietary education program tailored to the gender of adolescents to improve their stress perception, and to provide continuous guidance to form a healthy diet.

The purpose of this research is to access the dietary habits and weight control attitudes in college women, and to correlate them to the subjective fatigue symptoms. The research subjects are 508 women enrolled for studies in undergraduate school from freshmen to senior year in Daejeon city. The survey was conducted with self-administered questionnaire from Apr. 1st to May 1st to May 31st, 2012. In the questionnaire encompasses general characteristics, daily life style factors, dietary habits, attitude toward body type and weight control, and subjective fatigue symptoms. As a results, the affecting factors on the subjective fatigue symptoms were selected various factors such as frequency of the one food, frequency of dining out, having dinner, frequency of instant food intake, frequency of cereal, ice-cream intake, frequency of bean, soybean product intake, frequency of milk, milk product intake, consider excessive intake of sugar, consider excessive intake of salt, self-perception on body type and desire to control weight. Therefore, we can find out that their subjective fatigue symptoms are correlated to the factors in dietary habits, attitude toward body type and weight controls. It is concluded dietary habits and attitude toward body type and weight control themselves cause one's subjective fatigue symptoms, not because of each variables. So, it need efforts of having regular diets, making balanced body and controling body weights by objective ranges.

The purpose of this study was to examine co-ed high school students' concern for appearance, weight control attitude and food behavior. The subjects were 405 students(boys 197, girls 208) in Sokcho area. Most of the students had much interest in appearance, and their perception of body type was significant differences between boys and girls(p<,00l). 22.8% of boys expressed satisfaction at their own body type. while just 9,6% of the girls were contented with their body type. In interest toward weight control. 43.7% of the boys and 79.8% of the girls had a regard for weight control. In relationship between weight control interest and the body type perception, there were significant differences among group of caring about weight control. moderate group and indifferent group(p<,00l), regardless of gender. As a whole, 41.3% of group that cared about weight control found themselves a little fat. Most of the boys who considered themselves thin(24,4%) were much concerned about weight control. where as girls who thought of themselves as thin were little interested in. Body type satisfaction was significant differences among interested group, moderate group and indifferent group(p<.00l). It appeared that they had breakfast very irregularly, But 86.9% of the total students had dinner, which indicated dinner was taken relatively on a regular basis. Among three meals, dinner was skipped the least, 23,5% (17.8% of the boys and 28,9% of the girls) went without breakfast everyday. For the reason, 65.1% of the overall students didn't eat breakfast due to time constraints, and lunch(39.8%) and dinner(31.3%) were skipped largely because eating them was troublesome. Less students went without meals to lose weight. and lunch(7.0%) was skipped more than breakfast(1.3%), and dinner(13,8%) was skipped more than lunch, This study suggested that nutrition education for high school students should be planned to provide nutrition information regarding desirable weight control as well as modifying diets and food behaviors.

This study determines the body size of preteen children and conducts questionnaire investigations into the awareness of real purchasers or parents of and satisfaction with children's clothes and fit, in order to provide the basic data for planning and setting up the size range for the preteens market in which the sales of children clothes are gradually increasing. The findings of this study are as follow: Analyzing the obesity of the children against the Rohrer index showed that almost 30% of the subjects were obese children and that it is necessary to research the sizes of the clothes for obese children. It was also found that older children selected a more appropriate clothe size. Investigations into the awareness of children on their body image found that there was a significant difference in the perception of body shape, body weight, shoulder breath, arm thickness, chest girt, waist girth, hip girth, and thigh thickness. Slim or standard type children had the greatest consideration for the length of clothes to purchase while obese children had the greatest consideration for bosom size and waist girth. However, in terms of the association between fitness and size selection, obese children did not select a bigger size but an appropriate one for their body. The findings show that it is imperative to develop appropriate size clothes for obese children.
With rapid expansion in e-retailing of apparel business, the virtual fitting model is used for comparing fit of the selected garments. The researchers experimented women's perceived body size for developing virtual fitting model. 50 women who were 20's in age were participated in the experiment They were graduate students with clothing & textile major. The results of this study showed that the subjects perceived themselves with fuller figure at waist or hips and with shorter figure at waist height than their actual body site. Many subjects believed that their body sizes were close to the average site. Especially, subjects whose abdomen girth of hip girth was much larger than average thought that they have relatively flat abdomen. It was concluded that not only the user's body measurements but also user's perception on their figure type are needed to be considered in the process of developing virtual fitting model for e-retailing of apparel. It was expected that the virtual fitting model of extraordinary size body would not be accepted by the female consumers even though they are extra large or small size person in reality.

This study aims to identify the types and type-specific characteristics of subjectivity on complementary alternative therapy of nursing students using Q-methodology and to provide them as basic materials for nursing education. Q-methodology provides a scientific method for identifying perception structures that exist within certain individuals or groups. Thirty C college nursing students' classified 35 selected Q-statements into 9 points standard, according to the level of agreement or disagreement by forced normal distribution. The collected data was analyzed by using a QUNAL PC program. Resultingly, the attitude of nursing students regarding complementary alternative therapy was divided into three types. Type 1 is positive recognition. The students who think the therapy contributes to maintaining and improving health, and is a way to protect human body and improve welfare by enhancing immunity. Type 2 is objective acceptance. The students who think the complementary alternative therapy is effective when it is properly used for specific constitutions in discussion with medical teams after its effects are scientifically reviewed. Type 3 is popularity consideration. The students who put focus on its popular use and regard the therapy as very useful for not only patients but also ordinary healthy people because it is based on the natural and human approach. In conclusion, proposed are studies on influence factor of nursing students' awareness about the complementary alternative therapy and reviews on the effects of the complementary alternative therapy that is applied as nursing intervention.

This paper endeavors to examine the most suitable formal dress design for mid-aged men who lives in Kwangju, the Republic of Korea. Visual effect in associate design is considered with adjustment, figured and the body type. There are partly similarity differences in associate design visual effect by one's shape and clothes design. Firstly, in thin type, striped figured suit is the most attractive. Single adjustment suit with striped figured tend to be attractive, young and modernistic. Single adjustment without figured is felt the mellowest. Secondly, in standard type, the suit without figured is perceived the most attractive and masculine. The suit with striped figured is looked more young. Single adjustment suit without figured is the most attractive and mellow also single adjustment with figured is felt the youngest. Double adjustment without figured is felt mellow and with striped figured is felt the most modernistic and familiar. Also double adjustment suit with check figured is felt more modernistic. Thirdly, in pyknic type, the solid figured and striped figured of the suits are felt more masculine and single without figured is thought attractive. Single adjustment with check figured is common image. Also, double adjustment with stripe figured is perceived attractive. In conclusion, the adjustment, number of button and figure are very important facts for the clothes for giving whole visual effect of men's suit.
Although adolescents' obesity prevalence increases recently in Korea due to Westernized dietary life, according to social and economic development, and physical activity decline, distorted body image and improper dietary habits are prevalent, because of excessive obsession with weight control, deriving from psychological impacts including appearance supremacy. This study conducted a survey on health oriented awareness and attitude related with dietary habits targeting adolescents, such as high school students and college students, younger than 24, from May 11 to May 29, 2015. In this study, 280 questionnaire copies were collected out of 300 distributed questionnaire copies, and used 269 copies as analysis data, except 11 copies of which responses were inadequate. The results of this study are as follows: First, the high school students showed higher dietary regularity than the college students. Especially, 95.5% of the college students showed very high irregularity of lunch, compared with just 4.5% of the high school students. Second, the adolescents showed distorted perceived body image in comparison with body mass index (BMI). As a result of examining BMI relationship, according to one's own perception on body type, 28.6% of the respondents perceived themselves fat, despite normal BMI, and 40.4% of the respondents perceived themselves normal, despite low BMI. Third, health behavior activities level was higher, as the regularity of breakfast (B=1.093), lunch, (B=0.650), and dinner (B=0.765) was higher. The variable affecting the most ( ${\beta}=0.372$) was the regularity of breakfast. As interest in weight control was higher, health behavior activities was lower. Because over-interest in weight control may be linked with improper dietary habits or weight control, a caution is needed. The results of this study are expected to be utilized as the basic data for the policy and health-oriented program development to improve adolescents' health behavior practice.

This study investigates coping strategies of overweight or underweight males in Korea. For this purpose, the authors identify types of stress related to weight management. A qualitative method was utilized to collect the data related to successful weight management experiences of males aged 20-37 years. Data were analyzed based on a motivation theory of coping, which suggests coping strategy elements. The results of this study identified the stress related to weight: dissatisfaction with appearance, others' disapproval of appearance, health problems, weaker athletic ability, negative self-perception, passiveness about appearance, lower romantic attractiveness, others' disapproval of lower romantic attractiveness, weakened task execution capability, and negative stereo-types about task execution capability. In addition, six coping strategies were suggested: improved appearance, improved physical function, improved positive self-perception, more choices to improve appearance, enhanced romantic relationship, and enhanced job performance. This study shows that weight problems in modern society are diverse and complex. Therefore a man who has abnormal weight needs to clarify his stress first and then proposes strategies that are appropriate for each type of stress.
The purpose of this study was to analyze and consumption patterns diet/low-calorie food. Ubjects were 353 adult women aged 20s~50s. Ubjects were divided into three groups according to body mass index (BMI): Normal group (BMI>23.0), overweight group (23.0${\leq}$BMI<25.0), and obesity group (BMI${\geq}$25.0). This study collected all information by self-administrated questionnaires. The SPSS version 21.0 was used for analysis of data. The obesity group lower education level (p<0.001), higher age (p<0.001) and higher income (p<0.001) than normal group. However, score of health status was highest in normal group (p<0.001). Proportion of obesity group pill type diet/low-calorie (p<0.034), drug (diuretic, appetite suppressant and riental medicine) (p<0.001), and cosmetic surgery (p<0.001). The main reason for consumption of diet/low-calorie was control without starving (28.0%). Obese group emphasized manufacturer, ingredient and reputation, whereas the normal group emphasized price and expected effectiveness (p<0.001).
