포유자돈의 합사가 모돈과 자돈의 체표면 온도 변화에 미치는 영향 (Effect of mixing of suckling piglets on change of body surface temperature in sows and piglets)

  • 본 연구는 포유기간 중 이복자돈과의 합사가 모돈과 자돈의 체표면 온도 변화에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 실시하였다. 임신모돈 12두를 공시하여 6두는 개별 분만펜에 위치시켜 분만 후 이유시까지 복당 사육을 유지하였으며(대조구), 6두는 중간 칸막이의 제거가 가능한 가변형 분만펜에서 3복이 한 펜이 되도록 분만 11일차에 칸막이를 제거하여 이유시까지 유지하였다(처리구). 합사 30분 후에 열화상카메라를 이용하여 모돈 및 자돈의 체표면 온도를 측정하였다. 분만 후 포유모돈의 평균 체표면 온도는 처리구에서 $37.1^{\circ}C$로 대조구의 $36.3^{\circ}C$보다 유의적으로 높은 것으로 나타났고 (p<0.05), 최고온도에서는 두 처리간 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 이와 대조적으로, 포유 자돈의 평균 체표면 온도는 포유기 합사에 의해 유의적으로 감소하였으며(대조구 37.5, 처리구 $36.0^{\circ}C$; p<0.01). 최고온도에서 또한 대조구와 처리구에서 각각 $39.4^{\circ}C$$39.1^{\circ}C$로 유의적인 차이는 아니지만 대조구에서 낮은 경향으로 관찰되었다(p=0.079). 결론적으로 포유기간 중에 이복자돈과의 합사에 의해 모돈의 체표면 온도는 상승되지만, 자돈의 체표면 온도는 감소하는 것으로 관찰되었다. 더 나아가 체표면 온도와 심부온도와의 상관관계를 구명하고, 합사에 의한 모돈 및 자돈의 생리적 변화에 대한 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

Pony에 있어서 Acetylpromazine Malate의 사용경험 (Clinical use of Acetylpromazine Malate in Ponies)

  • Ponies were administered at the level of 0.1mg per kg of body weight of acetylpromazine malate through the jugular vein. Sedative effect, clinical signs such as body temperature, and changes of red blood cell counts and serum glucose concentration were investigated. Sedation was induced 5 to 6 minutes after injection of acepromazine and sedative effect was lasted for 30 to 40 minutes. Responsive reactions, however, to external stimuli were remained. Change of body temperature was not observed and heart beat was increased at the stage of induction and respiratory rate was decreased during the sedative period. Red blood cell count was considerably decreased during sedation, and concentration of serum glucose showed a tendency to increase gradually from the induction.

  • 한국특산 매자나무(Berberis Koreana Palibin)의 뿌리에서 분리한 majarine은 isoquinoline 알카로이드로서 본 교실에서는 중추신경계에 대한 약리작용을 검토하고 있다. Majarine을 마우스 복강내로 투여하여 직장온도 변화와 haloperidol, cyproheptadine과 reserpine 등에 대한 약물 상호작용을 관찰하여 다음과 같은 성적을 얻었다. Majarine은 마우스에 있어서 용량의존적으로 현저한 체온감소를 나타내었으나, 0.1 mg/kg투여시 체온증가의 유의성을 보였다. 체온감소는 haloperidol과 cyproheptadine으로 억제되었다. Reserpine처치 마우스에 있어서 ${\alpha}$-methyl-p-tyrosine으로 전처치한 다음 majarine 2.0mg/kg 투여시 체온감소를 나타내었다. 이러한 결과로 보아 majarine의 체온변화는 dopamine과 serotonin수용체에 관련성이 있다고 사려되고, 체온감소는 dopamine수용체에 직접적으로 작용한다고 생각되는 바이다.

  • This paper is concerned with the thermo-mechanical behavior and temperature dependent strain rate sensitivity of steel sheet for an auto-body. In order to Identify the temperature dependent strain rate sensitivity of SPRC35R and SPRC45E, uniaxial tension tests are performed with the variation of the strain rates from 0.001/sec to 200/sec, and the variation of environmental temperatures from $-40^{\circ}C\;to\;200^{\circ}C$. The thermo-mechanical response at the quasi-static state is obtained with the static tensile test and at the intermediate strain rate is from the high speed tensile test. The experimental results show that the strain rate sensitivity increases at low temperature and it decreases at high temperature. It means that as the strain rate getting increasing, the variation of flow stress is more sensitive on the temperature. The results also indicates that the material properties of SPRC35R is more depend on the changes of strain rates and temperature than those of SPRC45E.

  • This paper is concerned with the thermo-mechanical behavior of steel sheet for an auto-body including temperature dependent strain rate sensitivity. In order to identify the temperature-dependent strain rate sensitivity of SPRC35R, SPRC45E and TRIP60, uniaxial tensile tests are performed with the variation of the strain rates from 0.001/sec to 200/sec and the variation of environmental temperatures from $-40^{\circ}C$ to $200^{\circ}C$. The thermo-mechanical response at the quasi-static state is obtained from the static tensile test and that at the intermediate strain rate is obtained from the high speed tensile test. Experimental results show that the variation of the flow stress and fracture elongation becomes sensitive to the temperature as the strain rate increases. It is observed that the dynamic strain aging occurs with TRIP60 at the temperature above $150^{\circ}C$. Results also indicate that the flow stress and tincture elongation of SPRC35R are more dependent on the changes of strain rates and temperature than those of SPRC45E and TRIP60.

Effects of Heat Wave on Body Temperature and Blood Pressure in the Poor and Elderly

  • Objectives: We aimed to investigate the acute effects of heat stress on body temperature and blood pressure of elderly individuals living in poor housing conditions. Methods: Repeated measurements of the indoor temperature, relative humidity, body temperature, and blood pressure were conducted for 20 elderly individuals living in low-cost dosshouses in Seoul during hot summer days in 2010. Changes in the body temperature, systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) according to variations in the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity were analyzed using a repeated-measures ANOVA controlling for age, sex, alcohol, and smoking. Results: Average indoor and outdoor temperatures were $31.47^{\circ}C$ (standard deviation [SD], $0.97^{\circ}C$) and $28.15^{\circ}C$ (SD, $2.03^{\circ}C$), respectively. Body temperature increased by $0.21^{\circ}C$ (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.16 to $0.26^{\circ}C$) and $0.07^{\circ}C$ (95% CI, 0.04 to $0.10^{\circ}C$) with an increase in the indoor and outdoor temperature of $1^{\circ}C$. DBP decreased by 2.05 mmHg (95% CI, 0.05 to 4.05 mmHg), showing a statistical significance, as the indoor temperature increased by $1^{\circ}C$, while it increased by 0.20 mmHg (95% CI, -0.83 to 1.22 mmHg) as outdoor temperature increased by $1^{\circ}C$. SBP decreased by 1.75 mmHg (95% CI, -1.11 to 4.61 mmHg) and 0.35 mmHg (95% CI, -1.04 to 1.73 mmHg), as the indoor and outdoor temperature increased by $1^{\circ}C$, respectively. The effects of relative humidity on SBP and DBP were not statistically significant for both indoor and outdoor. Conclusions: The poor and elderly are directly exposed to heat waves, while their vital signs respond sensitively to increase in temperature. Careful adaptation strategies to climate change considering socioeconomic status are therefore necessary.

  • The changes in body temperatures of students in physical trained and untrained colleges have been studied as a funtion of garment styles under three different environmental conditions ($13{\pm}1$, $21{\pm}1$, $31{\pm}1^{\circ}C$, $60{\pm}5%$ RH, 0.25m/sec). Since exposures of the extremities of body affect the regulation of body temperature, two types of garments, i.e., the skirt and the slacks, were used in order to observe the effects of the garment styles on the regulation of body temperatures. The skirt exposed the calf of the leg, while the slacks did not. Because the body temperature is regulated better for healtier people, the subjects were divided into two groups. one group was consisted of 2 untrained female students, and the other of 2 healthier female physical college students. 1. The rectal temperatures for those in skirt were $0.3^{\circ}C$ higher than for the ones in slacks at $13^{\circ}C$ regardless of the groups. The untrained group showed $0.3^{\circ}C$ higher rectal temperatures in skirt and $0.2^{\circ}C$ higher in slacks compared to the physical trained group. 2. The skin temperatures rose with the environmental temperatures, and the skirt gave larger mean skin temperature by $0.5^{\circ}C$ at $21^{\circ}C$. 3. At $13^{\circ}C$, the untrained group felt colder, more wet, and slightly more uncomfortable for both skirt and slacks. It is concluded that the skirt is more effective in physiological defense against cold stimuli than the slacks at $13^{\circ}C$, and that the regulation of body temperature takes place more efficiently to the physical trained students.

  • 체온은 가축의 건강상태와 직접적으로 연관되어있어서 건강에 문제가 발생하였을 때 체온이 즉각 변화한다. 따라서 정확한 체온 측정은 스마트 축사 관리에서 중요하다. 하지만 현재 가축의 체온을 측정하기 위해서 주로 사용되는 표피 부착형 센서의 경우 외기 및 센서의 부착상태에 따라 측정되는 체온 값이 크게 변화하고, 측정되는 체온이 가축의 실제 심부체온과 다른 경우가 많다. 본 연구에서는 목 부착형 센서를 이용하여 소의 심부체온을 예측하는 방안을 개발하였다. 특히 심부체온을 정확하게 예측하는 회귀방안과 특정온도 이상으로 체온이 올라가는 것을 감지하는 분류방안을 다양한 기계학습방안을 이용하여 개발하였다. 이를 통해 높은 정확도로 소의 심부체온 이상여부를 예측할 수 있음을 보였다. 제안 방안을 통해서 소의 건강상태를 정확하게 파악하고 축사관리의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

연곡혈 침자가 안면부 체온변화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of thermal changes on face Acupuncture Yon-gok(KI2))

  • Objectives : This study was designed to investigate the effect of thermal change on face, acupuncturing Yon-gok (KI2). The room temperature adjust $26^{\circ}C$ making use of air-conditioner. Methods : A Clinical study was done on 20 males and females who didn't have any disease. We used IR-5000 to observe the effects of acupuncture at face temperature. Results : Acupuncturing Yon-gok(KI2), the special region on face falls the temperature (n=20) from Avg.=$28.1400{\pm}0.2603^{\circ}C$ to Avg.=$27.4910{\pm}0.2539^{\circ}C$ the special region on chest falls the temperature (n=20) from Avg.=$26.9450{\pm}0.2591^{\circ}C$ to Avg.=$26.8690{\pm}0.2519^{\circ}C$ These effects result at the stimulating 'Hwa' point, one of five-shu-point one in the meridian, Yon-gok (KI2) is one of 'Hwa'. the stimulating 'Hwa' is able to cure fever, headache, and pains. and it has ablility of controlling body temperature, specially, upper region of whole human body. Conclusions : In conclusion. Acupuncturing Yon-gok (KI2) falls the temperature of region on face, Compared with the temperature of region on chest.
