몰입형 무대 연출을 위한 시나리오 및 콘텐츠 설계 시스템 (Scenario and Content Design System for Immersive Stage Direction)

  • Today multimedia technologies are playing an increasingly important role in games, movies, and live performances. In this paper, we design a flexible interactive system integrated with gesture recognition, skeleton tracking, internet communication, and content edition using multi-sensors to direct and control the performance on stage. In this system, the performer can control the elements showed on stage through corresponding gestures and body movements during the performance. The system provides an easier way for users to change the content of the performance if they intent to do.

  • A fixed type driving simulator is constructed with a car body, beam projector, operation software , driving scenario, and audio equipments. With the simulator, the cognitive effects of fatigue due to two hour continuous driving of a straight road is investigated . The effects of alcohol on driving performance is also studied. The braking operation and lane keeping performance due to fatigue and alcohol are investigated. Changes of vehicle motion due to these effects are verified by computer simulation.

  • An off-line programming, OLP, system is widely used in automation fines. To help an on-line robot system to carry out desirable tasks planned by the off-line simulation, an approach to the real-time communication is presented. The OLP system developed consists of a software, a host computer(PC), a SCARA robot body, four servo drivers, and four independent joint controllers. This study focuses on the software where real-time communication is included. The software, can be used in teaching, trajectory planning, real-time running, and performance evaluation. The evaluation of different control algorithms is one of the merits of the software. The software can give servo commands for task running. A comparison of generated and corresponding actual trajectories provides the evaluation of task performance. The safety, of the OLP system is ensured by alarming malfuntions of the system. The OLP system developed can reduce the teaching time and increase the user's convenience.

바닥난방이 육계의 사육환경 및 생산성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Floor Heating System on Housing Environment and Performance in Broiler Production)

  • This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of floor heating system on housing environment and performance in broiler production. PVC heating pipes(in 25cm spacing) were covered with concrete under the litter. Floor heating system was compared with conventional direct heating system. Each treatment had two replicates of 110 birds each. Litter moisture content was significantly reduced in floor heating system than conventional direct heating system(P〈0.05). Dust concentration was higher in floor heating system because of low litter moisture content. CO$_2$concentration was 2,900ppm and 1,500ppm on the direct heating system and floor heating system, respectively at the age of 1 week. Body weight was significantly higher in floor heating system at 7 weeks of age(P〈0.05). The results of the trial show that floor heating was useful heating system for broiler production.

  • The purpose of this paper is to review recent developments in lower limb exoskeletons. The exoskeleton system is a human-robot cooperation system that enhances the performance of the wearer in various environments while the human operator is in charge of the position control, contextual perception, and motion signal generation through the robot's artificial intelligence. This system is in the form of a mechanical structure that is combined to the exterior of a human body to improve the muscular power of the wearer. This paper is followed by an overview of the development history of exoskeleton systems and their three main applications in military/industrial field, medical/rehabilitation field and social welfare field. Besides the key technologies in exoskeleton systems, the research is presented from several viewpoints of the exoskeleton mechanism, human-robot interface and human-robot cooperation control.

고속철도차량용 알루미늄 압출재의 차음성능에 대한 폼 충전효과 (Sound-Insulation Performance of Aluminum Extruded Panel by Charging Foam in a High-speed Train)

  • The aluminum extruded panel used for a high speed train shows the largest contribution to sound insulation performance of the train body. However, comparing with the flat panel having the same weight, the transmission loss falls sharply in the local resonance frequency band. Such fall of transmission loss can be improved by increasing the damping of local resonance. This study examines the charging effect of an urethane foam on the aluminum extruded panel of a high speed train. We charged the urethane foam with different mass density and in different way in the core part of the extruded panel. We measure the transmission loss and compare the sound insulation performance according to the density and charging method. Finally, Improvement effect of the transmission loss is compared and analysed in aspect of weight increment.

터빈익렬내의 3차원 끝벽유동 특성에 대한 수치해석적 연구 (Numerical Study on Three-Dimensional Endwall Flow Characteristics within a Turbine Cascade Passage)

  • Three-dimensional endwall flow within a linear cascade passage of high performance turbine blade is simulated with a 3-D Wavier-Stokes CFD code (MOSA3D), which is based on body-fitted coordinate system, pressure-correction and finite volume method. The endwall flow characteristics, including the development and generation of horseshoe vortex, passage vortex, etc. are clearly simulated, consistent with the generally known tendency. The effects of both turbulence model and convective differencing scheme on the prediction performance of endwall flow are systematically analyzed in the present paper. The convective scheme is found to have stronger effect than the turbulence model on the prediction performance of endwall flow. The present simulation result also indicates that the suction leg of the horseshoe vortex continues on the suction side until it reaches the trailing edge.

  • In this paper, the performance of a domestic Kim-Chi refrigerator is predicted by using a calculation model & experiment. The objectives of this study are to find out the best design points of a refrigeration system and calculate an adiabatic characteristic to change outdoor temperature. The best design points such as refrigerant charge and capillary length were experimentally investigated. And the calculation model is conducted as a function of calculation parameters and outdoor temperature. According to this study results, the best design points of a refrigeration system are each 95g of a refrigerant charge and 3500/3500mm of capillary lengths. And the power consumption is 13.578 Kwh/month. And a part of the worst heat loss is a front side of a domestic Kim-Chi refrigerator body.

The Pharmacology of Actoprotectors: Practical Application for Improvement of Mental and Physical Performance

  • Actoprotectors are preparations that enhance body stability against physical loads without increasing oxygen consumption or heat production. Or, in short, actoprotectors are synthetic adaptogens with a significant capacity to improve physical performance. This paper explores the history of actoprotectors' development, their pharmacological properties, mechanism of action, and practical application to the improvement of mental and physical performance. A brief summary of the clinico-pharmacological characteristics of the main representatives of this class (bemitil and bromantane) is provided. Some other synthesized compounds, and even natural ones such as ginseng, also are regarded as potential actoprotectors, and these are treated herein as well. Actoprotectors, owing to their wide-ranging pharmacological activities, high efficiency and safety, can be applied under either normal or extreme conditions.

Hull form design for the fore-body of medium-sized passenger ship with gooseneck bulb

  • The recent IMO MEPC regulation on EEDI, EEOI and increased fuel cost has worsened the financial condition of the small and medium sized passenger ferry companies, and it is situated to acquire the economic ships with a pretty high resistance performance. The purpose of this research is to develop a design method on the efficient gooseneck bulb for the middle-sized passenger ferry operated in the Far East Asian seas. The hull forms are designed by varying the gooseneck bulb parameters to find the changes on the resistance performance according to the shape of bulb. The numerical series tests are made to derive the regression equation for estimating the resistance through analyzing the data statistically. This equation is set as an objective function, and then using the optimization algorithm searches for the optimal combination of the design variables. After a hull form is designed corresponding to optimized parameters.
