어선의 갑판실의 진동 해석법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Vibration Analysis of a Deckhouse of Fishing Vessel)

  • For the deckhouse or superstructure, attention is directed to the reduction of vibration from a human susceptibility point of view. The two basic requirements for obtaining a low vibration level in the accommodation are to ensure that excitation forces from propeller and/or main engine are small and to avoid resonance excitation of the hull and superstructure. In recent years increased attention has been directed towards the problems of vibration and noise in deckhouse, which have caused major problems with regard to the environmental quality in the living quarters for crews. Accordingly, in this paper, the characteristic of the vibration of deckhouse of fishing boat, of which the length/height ratio is also relatively high, are studied systematically with regard to the shape and modelling of deckhouse based on finite element method of 1-dimensional, 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional model. This study is divided into 4-part. 1st part is the global deckhouse vibration, 2nd part is the local deckhouse vibration, 3rd part consists of the estimation for stiffness of foundational support and 4th part is the application to TUNA LONG LINER of 416 ton class. For the global vibration analysis, the severity of the vibration depends on the longitudinal shear and bending stiffness of the deckhouse, on the vertical deckhouse support(fore, aft and sides). However, even if the design is technically sound, vibration problems may arise due to vertical or longitudinal hull girder or afterbody resonances. Author applied the method of this study to the analysis of, deep-sea fishing vessel of G.T. 416 ton class with relatively low height and long deckhouse, and investigated the vibrational characteristic of the fishing vessel with earlier structural feature. According to this investigation, the vibration, response of above vessel was confirmed of which main hull and deckhouse behave as one body. It is at the bottom of vibrational trouble which a accommodation part of the fishing vessel is raised, that is the local vibration for side wall, fore-aft wall and deck plate of deckhouse rather than thief fect of fore-aft vibration of deckhouse for above fishing vessel. and the resonance of main hull, deckhouse and driving system such as the main engine, propeller in exciting source is mainly brought up as the trouble.

소형 어선용 디젤기관에서의 연료유 성상에 따른 배기배출물 특성에 관한 연구 (An experimental study on characteristics of exhaust emissions with fuel properties changes in a diesel engine for small-sized fishing vessel)

  • In order to test the applicability of bunker-A in a diesel engine for small-fishing boat, the investigation of the engine performance and the exhaust emission was performed under various conditions of fuel property, intake air pressure and fuel temperature. It was also performed based on IMO NOx Technical code. At high load, the energy consumption rate of bunker-A was lower than that of diesel oil, and the characteristics of exhaust emission of bunker-A were similar to those, and NOx emission rates of both fuels satisfied the IMO NOx emission regulation limits. The energy consumption rate and characteristics of exhaust emission were improved as the intake air pressure was increased, but these were not improved remarkably as the temperature of bunker-A was heated. However, at low load the energy consumption rate, CO emission rate and HC emission rate of bunker-A were higher than those of diesel oil, but NOx emission rates of the fuels were about the same. In addition, at low load the energy consumption rate and CO emission rate of bunker-A were increased as the intake air pressure and the temperature were higher than normal conditions. Accordingly, it is thought that the use of bunker-A in a kind of test engine is possible at high load. On the other hand, it is thought that more research is needed to improve the combustion efficiency under low temperature and low load condition.

오징어 채낚기 어선의 추진기 개선을 통한 성능향상 (Improving of propulsion performance of 24 ton class squid jigging vessel)

  • In this study, a new designed propeller was applied on 24 ton class squid jigging vessel to reduce of fuel consumption. The selected squid jigging boat was under construction at the shipyard to determine the resistance of the hull through the model experiment. The propeller design was carried out by using the experimental data and ITTC procedures. Sea trials were performed by measuring the speed and the horsepower required by the condition of five power levels of engine load, namely 70%, 80%, 90%, MCR and maximum engine power. The speed and delivered horse power were compared between the conventional propeller and the new design propeller. Delivered horse power by installing the new propeller takes 90% engine load at start-up conducted by decreased 9.06%. The measuring speed is increased up to the 0.6 knots in the low-speed range to high range. This study showed that only the design and installation of a new propeller can improve the propulsion efficiency of the boats; furthermore, reduce fuel costs can be achieved at the same time by improving the increased cruising speed.

남극 크릴새우의 고액분리 기술개발 (Development of Solid/Liquid Separation Technique for Krill (Eupausia superba))

  • 크릴새우의 고액분리효율을 규명하기 위하여 크릴새우를 해빙시킨 다음 고액분리기만 사용하였을 경우, 솔 (Brush) 분쇄기 또는 날 분쇄기로 크릴새우를 분쇄한 후 고액분리기를 사용하여 효율을 측정하였을 경우로 나누어 수행하였다. 고액분리기만으로 분리한 경우와 솔분쇄기와 날분쇄기로 분쇄한 후 고액 분리기를 적용한 결과 3차 시험에서 분리효율은 각각 46.2%, 60.2%, 60.4%를 나타내었다. 고액분리기만을 사용하였을 경우보다 날 분쇄기와의 조합에서 분리효율의 증가는 2차 시험에서 10.1%, 3차 시험에서 14.2%로 각각 나타났고, 처리용량은 4.2kg/min으로 되었다. 고액분리 전에 날분쇄기로 분쇄한 후 고액분리기로 분리하는 것이 이상적이라 판단된다.

  • Improving fuel consumption, particularly that of commercial vehicles, has become a global concern. The reduction in logistics cost has been a key issue in efforts to improve fuel economy and efficiency of transportation equipment. Typical technologies for reducing reduce fuel usage include air resistance reduction technologies, tire rolling resistance technologies, and idle technologies among others. Air resistance technology is a highly effective method that can be easily applied in a short period. As with air resistance technology, several devices involving side skirt, boat tail and gap fairing have been developed based on an analytical 3-D modeling technique for reducing air resistance attributed to the vehicle configuration. The devices were on a 45 feet tractor-trailer and the emission test was done using PEMS equipment. Fuel economy was evaluated by introducing several devices to reduce outer air resistance. The test was conducted by changing the experimental method of SAE J1321 Joint TMC/SAE Fuel Consumption Test Procedure - Type II test. As a result, air resistance decreased by at least 15 % and fuel economy improved by at least 13 %. This study sought to reduce greenhouse gas and improve fuel economy by applying several devices to a test vehicle to lower air resistance.

중층 트롤의 어법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Fishing Method of the Midwater Trawl -On the meneuveravilities of the fishing boat under operation-)

  • Due to depletion of fish resources as time goes on, the trawl fishing industries which have caught the demersal fish is confronting with financial difficulties. For the purpose of breaking these difficulties, trawlers are expanding the fishing targets to the midwater from bottom stock. The trawlers become to be able to detect the fish schools not only vertical but also horizontal direction by equipping the sonar system on board. Even though the operator locates the fish school by sonar, it is not easy to make a desirable catch of the fish school which is detected, for the reason of the maneuverring characteristics of trawler. For the purpose of enhancing the efficiency of a fish catch, the auther performed a series of on board experiments to investigate the maneuverablilites of midwater trawaler. The obtained results are summerized as follows: 1. The higher the RPM of main engine, the smaller the magnitude of turning circle. And it is smaller in the right than in the left turning 2. Towing speed varies irregularly under turning novenment. When the RPM of main engine being 560, 680 the angular velocities are 11.3deg/min, 22.5deg/min respectively. 3. The difference of new course distance between calculated by maneuverring indices and measured by experimental ship is high when altering course being large and towing speed low. 4. The faster the towing speed is, the shorter the new course distance becomes. When towing speed is same in right and left turning movement, the now course distance is shorter in case of right turning movement than in left. 5. It is considered to be convenient for a navigator to utilize the curves for altering course in order to steer the ship rapidly and accurately.

고강도 콘크리트의 내화성능 용도에 따른 FRP재활용 공정 개발 (Development of FRP Recycling Process for Regenerating Applications of Fire Resistance Performance of High Strength Concrete)

  • 환경문제를 야기시켰던 해상용 FRP재활용에 대해 지난 10여 년간 다양한 국가적 지원이 이루어져서 폐FRP로부터 콘크리트 강화용 섬유 제작이 진행되어 왔다. 이렇게 제작된 강화 콘크리트에 대해 구조적 능력까지 시험한 바 있다. 시험 테스트 결과 재활용 FRP 가루를 사용한 콘크리트는 고강도 콘크리트의 압축강도를 감소시키지 않았을 뿐 만 아니라, 고강도 콘크리트의 내폭 특성을 상당히 증대시켰다. 그러나 폐FRP로부터 매트층의 분리 방법이 안정화되지 않았기 때문에 폐FRP 섬유 가루의 특성에 대한 연구는 종결되지 않았다. 본 연구는 폐FRP로부터 매트층을 분리하는 효과적이며 친환경적인 새로운 방법에 관한 것이며, 이것은 내폭성이 강한 제품이나 구조물에 적합한 FRP섬유가루 생산 공정에 유용한 재활용 공정이라 생각한다.

어선의 수중소음에 관한 연구 (The Underwater Noise of Fishing Boat)

  • 어선에서 발생되는 수중소음을 측정하기 위하여 선미식 트롤어선인 새바다호가 수심 100m인 제주도남쪽 해역에서 운항중일 때의 구중소음을 녹음 분석한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 새바다호가 운항중일 때 주된 주파수대는 $100\sim500Hz$이며 최대음압은 121dB였다. 2) 항주중의 수중소음은 속도가 증가함에 따라 음압준위가 높아진다. 3) 후진할 때의 소음은 전진할 매와 소음 spectrum도 다르고 음경준위도 높았다. 4) 기관만을 운전할 때보다 항주중일 때의 수중소음이 10dB이상 높았다. 5) 어이에서 발생되는 수중소음의 주음원은 기사소음과 프로펠라의 회전 및 선체의 진동때문인 것으로 생각된다. 6) 거리에 따른 음압의 감쇠는 주파수가 높아짐에 따라 커지고 주파수 제곱에 비례하여 감쇠하였다.

0-1 정수 계획법을 이용한 해양 도서지역 상수원 환경 개발 방법에 관한 연구 (The Study on a Reservoir Environment Development Method of Coast Small Islands using 0-1 Integer Programming)

  • 본 연구는 제한된 예산에서 최대의 효율을 얻기 위해서 여러 대안 중에서 최적의 상수원 확보 방안을 결정하는 것이다. 상수원 할당 문제를 다루기 위해서는 해수 담수화 시설, 지하수 개발, 저수지개발, 해저관로 설치, 급수선, 해상 상수원 비축기지와 같은 제안된 여러 대안들이 있다. 본 논문에서는 가장 합리적인 대안을 결정하기 위하여 새로운 모델인 0-1정수계획모형이 제안된다. 제안된 모형은 지금까지 최적 상수원 확보 문제에 적용된 사례가 없다. 본 논문은 최소의 예산으로 가장 합리적인 대안을 결정하는데 기여할 뿐만 아니라 제안된 모형은 타 지역의 상수원 확보 문제에도 적용할 수 있다.

충돌사고 감축을 위한 어선의 대응 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Requirement to the Fishing Vessel for Reducing the Collision Accidents)

  • 해양안전심판원에 따르면 선박의 등록 척수는 점차 줄어드는 추세이지만, 전체 해양사고 척수와 충돌사고 척수는 증가 추세를 보이고 있다. 2008년부터 2012년까지 최근 5년간 해양사고 발생 현황을 분석해 보면, 해양사고에서 충돌사고가 37 %로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 이러한 충돌사고에서 어선이 58 %로 가장 많이 발생되었는데, 그 중에서도 20톤 미만의 소형선박의 충돌사고가 26 %로 가장 많은 것으로 확인되었다. 또한, 충돌사고의 절반이 넘는 56 %의 선박이 충돌직전까지 상대선박을 발견하지 못한 것으로 분석되었는데, 이러한 사실은 충돌사고가 대부분 경계소홀로 인하여 발생한 것임을 알 수 있다. 따라서 이러한 충돌사고를 줄이기 위해 어선의 운항특성 및 운항과 관련된 제반 규정을 검토하여 어선의 승선 인원, 교육 및 훈련, 그리고 항해장비 측면에서 개선 및 보완할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.
