  • Korean fishing boats have had appropriate hull forms for the safety, stability and convenience of fishing ability. However, Korean fishermen are recently concerned about the resistance performance and speed of Korean fishing boats, because the prices of fuel oil are gradually risen, also the exhausting of fish resources and the demand of high speed fishing boats are increased. Therefore, the necessity of the study on the improvement of resistance performance for Korean small coastal fishing boats is gradually increased. This study compares the hull form characteristics of Korean fishing boats with those of Japanese fishing boats, and the hull form of a representative Korean fishing boat is modified. From the modification of the hull form parameters for the Korean fishing boat, the improvement of resistance performances is evaluated. Moreover, the increase of resistance performances is also achieved from the modification of local characteristics for the hull form of the Korean fishing boat. A computational method and ship model tests in towing tank are used for the conformations of the improvement of resistance performance.

  • 선박의 선형시험설비로는 회류수조, 예인수조 등이 있으나, 소형 고속선박은 실선 대응 모형선의 축적비가 대형선에 비해 매우 작고 수조의 유속과 예인전차의 속도제한으로 고속선의 설계선속까지의 성능검증에는 한계로 작용하였다. 이에, 고속 활주형선의 선형시험 검증을 위해 실 해상모형시험기법을 정립하였다. 한편, 고속 Stepped Hull선형은 일체형 활주형 선저선형에 비하여 고속 주행시 공기공급에 따른 접수면 감소로 인하여 저항감소에 따른 속도향상과 연비절감 효과가 있으나, 선미 좌우측의 접수면 감소에 따른 횡동요 안정성이 감소되는 경향이 있다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 고속 선형시험이 가능한 해상모형시험을 이용하여 선미 보조동체 장착 유무에 따른 고속 Stepped Hull 선형의 횡동요 및 저항특성을 비교, 분석한 것이다.

  • 본 논문은 ADCP 계측기기 부근에서 음향학적인 그리고 ADCP 계기로 인해 발생하는 흐름의 교란에 기인한 속도 오차에 대한 원인들을 실험 및 수치모의를 통해 고찰한다. 실험실에서의 연구는 선박에 탑재되지 않은 독립된 ADCP에 대해 수행하였고, 수평 및 수직면에서 ADCP에 의해 유발되는 흐름 교란은 ADV를 이용하여 관측하였다. 그리고 ADCP와 ADV의 동시적 측정이 ADCP계측에 있어 추가적인 계측기기 부근의 영향들을 고려하기 위해 수행되었다. 수치모의는 ADCP가 선박에 탑재되었을 때 ADCP 계기 부근에 발생하는 잠재적인 오차에 대해 연구하기 위해 설계되었다. 수치해석 기법 사용된 LES (Large Eddy Simulation)는 선박에 탑재된 ADCP에 작용하는 항력과 계기와 선박의 막음효과에 의해 발생하는 흐름의 교란의 크기와 범위를 모의하였다. 결과로 ADCP에 의해 관측된 속도는 계측기기 하단의 제한된 범위 내에서 일정 정도 오차를 보였고 교란되지 않은 하천의 흐름 조건에 따라 오차가 실질적으로 다르게 나타났다.

창녕 비봉리 출토 신석기시대 나무배 편의 조습건조 (Humidity Controlled Drying for the Fragments of an Wooden Boat in the Neolithic Age, Excavated from Bibong-ri, Changnyeong, Korea)

  • 창녕 비봉리에서 출토된 신석기 시대 나무배 편을 대상으로 PEG 함침처리 후 조습건조를 진행하였다. 칠기나 목기와 같은 소형 수침고목재 유물의 경우에는 진공동결건조법이 가장 많이 적용되고 있으나, 소형 유물에만 적용할 수 있다는 단점이 있다. 따라서 선박과 같은 대형유물의 경우에는 대부분 PEG 처리 후 자연건조를 하고 있으나 장시간의 약제함침이 요구되며, 건조결함이 발생할 위험이 있다. 따라서 본 처리에서는 비봉리 출토 나무배 편 4점을 대상으로 PEG 수용액으로 10%에서 80%까지 단계적으로 함침처리 후 조습건조법을 적용하였다. 또한 조습건조 후 배편의 습도조건별 중량변화를 측정하여 유물의 치수안정성을 확인하였다.

파랑의 조우각과 선속 변화에 따른 어선의 횡동요 특성 (Characteristics on the rolling response of a small fishing boat according to the waves and the ship's speed)

  • Marine casualties of vessel are serious problems on social and national aspects, because it results in sacrifice of lives, a great lose of properties and marine pollution. According to recent statistics of marine casualties of vessel, fishing boats are more likely to be ended in the casualty, and especially, small fishing boats cause much more accidents than any other big vessels. Most of marine casualties were caused by the human factors such as poor watch keeping, inadequate manoeuvering and negligent action for engine, etc. This study is intended to provide navigator of small fishing boat with a specific information of necessary to assist both the manoeuvering and the avoidance of capsizing. The manoeuvering characteristics of ship can be adequately judged by the results of typical ship trials manoeuvres. For this purpose, the author measured the roll responses of a small fishing boat in waves using the real sea experimental measuring system, and analyzed the experimental data by the statistical and spectral analyzing methods to get the characteristics of the roll motion responses of the small boat through the wave directions and the ship's speed.

  • 최근 전 세계적으로 사회적 여건 변화와 소비자의 욕구 변화에 따라 여가 중심으로의 가치관이 변화하면서 다양한 레저스포츠의 수요가 점차 증가하고 있다. 특히 여름철 수상 레포츠에 대한 관심과 참여율이 증가하고 있는 실정이며, 정형화되어있는 수상레저용 보트의 다양한 선체 디자인에 대한 욕구도 증가하고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 소비자들의 선체 디자인에 대한 다양한 욕구의 변화에 적극적으로 대응할 수 있도록 협력적 필터링 기법을 이용한 수상레저용 보트 디자인 설계를 위한 추천시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 소비자 설문조사를 통해 보트 디자인 관련 감성을 선정하고, 요인분석과 평가로 감성을 도출하여 고객 감성 선호측면에서의 보트 디자인 배열을 제시하였다. 또한 사용자의 선호도를 반영한 보트 디자인에 따른 감성 어휘 선정을 위해서 보트의 선체, 바디, 추진 장치 등의 요소에 따라 분석하여 사용자의 선호도에 맞는 수상레저용 보트 모델을 제시하였다.

회전롤러식 생멸치 선별기계 성능평가 (Performance evaluation of rotating roller type raw anchovy sorting machine)

  • In the anchovy boat seine fishing boat, it is necessary to select other aquatic organisms other than live anchovies, which are the target species of catch. By making a rotating roller sorter using hydraulic pressure, the anchovy sorting amount was compared and the sorting accuracy of the rotary roller sorter, and the discharge speed of butter fish and jerry fish according to the number of roller revolutions were analyzed. The rotating roller sorter increases the weight of the sorted raw anchovy by 54%, 74% and 91.5% compared to the round bar fixed type, so it can reduce the required time by an average of 73.2%. As a result of converting the sorting accuracy to the weight of pure anchovies excluding the catch weight, the round bar fixed type was 89%; however, the average of the rotating roller sorter was 97.7%. Thus, the sorting accuracy of the rotary roller sorter was further improved by about 8.7%. The roller speed moved 7% at 300 rpm, 7.5% at 600 rpm, and 16% at 900 rpm, so butter fish were discharged overboard 10% faster than jelly fish on average. In addition, the average feed speed of butter fish and jelly fish is 1,400 mm/s when the roller rotation speed is 300 rpm, 1,480 mm/s at 600 rpm, and 1,850 mm/s at 900 rpm. A Φ58 mm roller rotates once it moved about 1.23 mm. In the future, a follow-up study of quantitative evaluation is needed targeting more non-target fish species of anchovy boat seine.

모듈 선체형 삼동 폰툰 보트의 구조설계 민감도 평가와 근사 최적화 해석 (Sensitivity Evaluation and Approximate Optimization Analysis for Structure Design of Module Hull Type Trimaran Pontoon Boat)

  • Recently, domestic leisure boats have been actively researching eco-friendly product development to enter the global market. Since the hulls of existing leisure boats are mainly made of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) or aluminum, design techniques for securing structural safety by applying related materials have been mainly studied. In this study, an initial structural design safety assessment of a trimaran pontoon leisure boat with a modular hull structure and eco-friendly high-density polyethylene (HDPE) material was conducted, and sensitivity evaluation and optimization analysis for lightweight design were performed. The initial structural design safety assessment was carried out by creating a finite element analysis model and applying the loading conditions specified in the ship classification regulation to check whether the specified allowable stresses are satisfied. For the sensitivity evaluation, the influence of stress and weight of each hull structural member was evaluated using the orthogonal array design of experiments method, and an approximate model based on the response surface method was generated using the results of the design of experiments. The optimization analysis set the thickness of the hull structural members as the design variable and considered the optimal design formulation to minimize the weight while satisfying the allowable stress. The algorithm of the optimization analysis applied the Gradient-population Based Optimizer (GBO) to improve the accuracy of the optimal solution convergence while reducing the numerical cost. Through this study, the optimal design of a newly developed eco-friendly trimaran pontoon leisure boat with a weight reduction of 10% was presented.

고속 연안순시선 선형개발과 저항성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Hull Form Development and Resistance Performance of a High-Speed Coastal Patrol Boat)

  • Initial hull form of 10 G/T and 40 knots class coastal patrol boat is newly developed. The resistance performances are experimentally and numerically investigated by model test at high speed circulating water channel(CWC) and CFD technique. The effect of a fin attached at hull side and initial trim are studied together. Wave patterns are observed to make clear the relation between the resistance performance and the wave characteristics. it can be found that the initial trim plays a role to increase the resistance performance above a certain velocity.

파랑관통형 고속활주선 선형개발에 관한 연구 (Study of Hull Form Development of Wave-Piercing-Type High-Speed Planing Boat)

  • A new wave-piercing-type high-speed planing boat without a chine was developed, and its basic performance was investigated in a model test, including the resistance, trim, and sinkage. The maximum speed of the developed ship was 35 knots. The hull form was developed by combining a VSV (very slender vessel) and TH (transonic hull), which have large deadrise angles at the bow. The main dimensions were estimated by a statistical approach using actual ship data. The effect of a side fin attached at the stern near the water line was investigated from a resistance point of view. It was found that the developed hull form showed the possibility of a new concept for a high-speed planing hull without a chine, and the side fin played an important role in increasing the resistance performance by controlling the trim and sinkage in the high-speed range.
