The Internet of Things is a huge group of devices communicating each other and the interconnection of objects in the network is a basic requirement. Choosing a reliable device is critical because malicious devices can compromise networks and services. However, it is difficult to create a trust management model due to the mobility and resource constraints of IoT devices. For the centralized approach, there are issues of single point of failure and resource expansion and for the distributed approach, it allows to expand network without additional equipment by interconnecting each other, but it has limitations in data exchange and storage with limited resources and is difficult to ensure consistency. Recently, trust management models using fog nodes and blockchain have been proposed. However, blockchain has problems of low throughput and delay. Therefore, in this paper, a trust management model for selecting reliable devices in a fog-based IoT environment is proposed by applying IOTA, a blockchain technology for the Internet of Things. In this model, Directed Acyclic Graph-based ledger structure manages trust data without falsification and improves the low throughput and scalability problems of blockchain.

This paper proposes a reliable data sharing scheme on the internet of vehicles (IoV) by utilizing blockchain technology for constructing a decentralized system approach. In our model, to maintain the credibility of the information messages sent by the vehicles to the system, we propose a reputation rating mechanism, in which neighboring vehicles validate every received information message. Furthermore, we incorporate an incentive mechanism based on smart contracts, so that vehicles will get certain rewards from the system when they share correct traffic information messages. We simulated the IoV network using a discrete event simulator to analyze network performance, whereas the incentive model is designed by leveraging the smart contract available in the Ethereum platform.

Bitcoin, based on the blockchain technology is an online crypto-currency developed by Satoshi Nagamoto. Bitcoin, which was first issued on January 3, 2009, is rapidly evolving with increasing number of transactions. However, untoward incidents are occurring due to an increase in the number of Bitcoin transactions. Predicting the number of Bitcoin transactions is important to prepare for any issues that can occur in the Bitcoin network. This paper proposes to design model for predicting the number of Bitcoin transactions by applying two machine learning algorithms and then a model for predicting the number of Bitcoin transactions through experiments.
Accounts receivable insurance is a system in which small and medium-sized enterprises insure the accounts receivables acquired by the purchasing company, and the insurance company pays when the purchaser fails to pay the debts. Accounts receivable insurance is a very effective means of eliminating the risk of loss due to the counterparty default, and it is economically effective to protect the domestic industry by preventing the bankruptcy of one company leading to a chain bankruptcy of other companies. In this study, we constructed a business model of the accounts receivable insurance, by building an infrastructure based on a private blockchain in activating the accounts receivable insurance accounts. The accounts receivable insurance platform using these blockchain technologies not only addressed the problem of document and reliability verification for insurance, but also sought ways to facilitate accounts receivable insurance by small businesses through rapid transaction rates, easy network expansion and access management based on private blockchain.
In the 4th industrial revolution, the blockchain that distributes and manages data through a P2P network is used as a new decentralized networking paradigm in various fields such as manufacturing, culture, and public service. However, with the advent of quantum computers, quantum algorithms that are able to break existing cryptosystems such as hash function, symmetric key, and public key cryptography have been introduced. Currently, because most major blockchain systems use an elliptic curve cryptography to generate signatures for transactions, they are insecure against the quantum adversary. For this reason, the research on the quantum-resistant blockchain that utilizes lattice-based cryptography for transaction signatures is needed. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a blind signature scheme for the blockchain in which the contents of the signature can be verified later, as well as signing by hiding the contents to be signed using lattice-based cryptography with the property of quantum resistance. In addition, we prove the security of the proposed scheme using a random oracle model.

If the blockchain means storing information in a distributed environment that cannot be forged or altered, it is mentioned that this is similar to what librarians collect, preserve, and share authoritative information. In this way, this study examined blockchain technology as a way to collect and provide reliable information, increase work efficiency inside and outside the library, and strengthen cooperative networks. This study attempted to propose various ways to utilize blockchain technology in book relations based on literature surveys and case studies in other fields. To this end, this study first analyzed the field and cases of blockchain application to confirm the possibility and value of blockchain application in the library field, and proposed 12 ways to utilize it based on this. The utilization model was proposed by dividing it into operation and service sectors. In the operation sector, it is a digital identity-based user record storage and authentication function, transparent management and traceable monitoring function, voting-based personnel and recruitment system, blockchain governance-based network efficiency function, and blockchain-based next-generation device management and information integration function. The service sector includes improved book purchase and sharing efficiency due to simplification of intermediaries, digital content copyright protection and management functions, customized service provision based on customer behavior analysis, blockchain-based online learning platforms, sharing platforms, and P2P-based reliable information sharing platforms.
When a crime occurs, the information necessary for solving the case, and various pieces of the evidence needed to prove the crime are collected from the crime scene. The tangible residues collected through scientific methods at the crime scene become evidence at trial and a clue to prove the facts directly against the offense of the suspect. Therefore, the scientific investigation and forensic handling for securing objective forensic in crime investigation is increasingly important. Today, digital systems, such as smartphones, CCTVs, black boxes, etc. are increasingly used as criminal information investigation clues, and digital forensic is becoming a decisive factor in investigation and trial. However, the systems have the risk that digital forensic may be damaged or manipulated by malicious insiders in the existing centralized management systems based on client/server structure. In this paper, we design and implement a blockchain based digital forensic management model using Hyperledger Fabric and Docker to guarantee the reliability and integrity of digital forensic. The proposed digital evidence management model allows only authorized participants in a distributed environment without a central management agency access the network to share and manage potential crime data. Therefore, it could be relatively safe from malicious internal attackers compared to the existing client/server model.
Recently, the threat to the security and damage of important data leaked by devices of intranet infected by malicious code through the Internet have been increasing. Therefore, the partitioned intranet model that blocks access to the server for business use by implementing authentication of devices connected to the intranet is required. For this, logical net partition with the VDI(Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) method is no information exchange between physical devices connected to the intranet and the virtual device so that it could prevent data leakage and improve security but it is vulnerable to the attack to expose internal data, which has access to the server for business connecting a nonregistered device into the intranet. In order to protect the server for business, we suggest a blockchain based network partition model applying blockchain technology to VDI. It contributes to decrease in threat to expose internal data by improving not only capability to verify forgery of devices, which is the vulnerability of the VDI based logical net partition, but also the integrity of the devices.

With the rapid development of block chain technology, attempts have been made to put the block chain technology into practical use in various fields such as finance and logistics, and also in the public sector where data integrity is very important. Defense Operations In addition, strengthening security and ensuring complete integrity of the command communication network is crucial for operational operation under the network-centered operational environment (NCOE). For this purpose, it is necessary to construct a command communication network applying the block chain network. However, the block chain technology up to now can not solve the security issues such as the 51% attack. In particular, the Practical Byzantine fault tolerance (PBFT) algorithm which is now widely used in blockchain, does not have a penalty factor for nodes that behave maliciously, and there is a problem of failure to make a consensus even if malicious nodes are more than 33% of all nodes. In this paper, we propose a Adaptive Consensus Bound PBFT (ACB-PBFT) algorithm that incorporates a penalty mechanism for anomalous behavior by combining the Trust model to improve the security of the PBFT, which is the main agreement algorithm of the blockchain.
The one of the biggest challenges in using e-mail is that it is difficult to filter out unconfirmed senders. Therefore, in this study, an email group authentication API was designed using blockchain technology, which has been widely used as an authentication method. As the proposed model, the node-node weighting index was obtained through the relationship association network, and after designing the email reliability model, the reliability calculation model of the Rotten Tomato method was obtained. Based on this, the system structure was designed, chain code methods were defined, and API was developed. Through this study, it is expected that it will be used in various fields requiring authentication as well as email user authentication, and it is expected that the relationship of group authentication can be proved by allowing a large number of users to use the API in the future.
