  • In this paper, we describe a FIDO universal authentication system based on a Blockchain that can share the user's FIDO authentication information between the application services of multiple domains without the use of a server. In addition we provide a method to query the FIDO authentication information of the user recorded in the Blockchain using only the user's service ID. Therefore, even if the user executes the FIDO registration process only once, the user can use the FIDO authentication service of another application service without repeating an additional FIDO registration procedure, and the service provider can securely share and utilize the FIDO authentication information of the user without the use of a trusted third party, thereby lowering the deployment and maintenance costs of the FIDO server.

  • Animal authentication, where an animal is identified as the preregistered specific one or not, is exploited various fields such as animal hospital, animal shop, animal shelter, and animal insurance. Nose-print is widely exploited to identify animal as fingerprint is exploited to identify human. This paper introduces an animal administration system, where it performs animal registration and authentication through nose-print recognition and it connects various clients through blockchain network.

  • The identity verification is one of the most important technologies in online services. Many services in society are provided online, and the service is provided after confirming the user's identity. Users can do a lot of things online, but they also have side effects. Online digital information is easily manipulated and it is difficult to verify its authenticity, causing social confusion. Accordingly, there has been a movement for individuals to directly manage their identity information using DID. In this paper, we propose a system that can authenticate identity by directly adding own personal information and issuing an identifier using DID technology based on a private blockchain. Then, to verify the proposed system, the scenario is executed and verified.

  • When a data file is shared through various methods on the Internet, the data file may be damaged in various cases. To prevent this, some websites provide the checksum value of the download target file in text data type. The checksum value provided in this way is then compared with the checksum value of the downloaded file and the published checksum value. If they are the same, the file is regarded as the same. However, the checksum value provided in text form is easily tampered with by an attacker. Because of this, if the correct checksum cannot be verified, the reliability and integrity of the data file cannot be ensured. In this paper, a checksum value is generated to ensure the integrity and reliability of a data file, and this value and related file information are stored in the blockchain. After that, we will introduce the research contents for designing and implementing a system that provides a function to share the checksum value stored in the block chain and compare it with other people's files.

  • By comparing the status quo of recycling of new energy vehicles and waste power batteries at home and abroad, analyze the central relationship between recycling of waste power batteries and the interaction between various factors in China, consider the characteristics of blockchain technology, organically integrate into the reverse recycling network, and quantify the relevant factors. Make use of the constructed model to simulate, forecast, and compare and analyze whether to adopt blockchain technology and, on this basis, analyze the intrinsic relationship between various variables. To explore the different effects brought by changing different countermeasures according to different subjects, and expand it to the factor analysis in the whole reverse recycling supply chain to help the government and operators and enterprises to make more objective and scientific decisions, to provide a particular reference for promoting the recycling of waste power batteries and the development of power battery manufacturing industry in China.

  • For the past couple of years, the medical data has been stored in centralized systems which is not the ideal storage technique since all data can be altered, stolen, or even used for evil purposes and, furthermore, the data cannot be safely shared with other doctors and hospitals in case of patient's transfer, change of state or country, in addition, patient's health status cannot be tracked and the patient's medical history is unknown. Therefore, powerful decentralized technologies and expertise can help provide better health information and help doctors and patients to better understand the situations before and after treatment, and do more research based on immutable and trusted data. One of the proposed solutions is storing and securing data on the blockchain which is less scalable, slow and expensive. Introducing a scalable, robust medical data storage and sharing system based on AI/ML, IoT, IPFS, and blockchain.

  • The emergence of collaborative learning to the public is to tackle the user's privacy issue in centralized learning by bringing the AI models to the data source or client device for training Collaborative learning employs computing and storage resources on the client's device. Thus, it is privacy preserved by design. In harmony, blockchain is also prominent since it does not require an intermediary to process a transaction. However, these approaches are not yet fully ripe to be implemented in the real world, especially for the complex system (several challenges need to be addressed). In this work, we present the performance of collaborative learning and potential use case of blockchain. Further, we discuss privacy issues in the system.

  • In this study, we want to verify the factors that affect the intention to switch to a supply chain management information system applied with blockchain. To this end, variable selection and research model were constructed through the review of previous studies, and empirical analysis was conducted using the TOE framework and PPM model. The effects of Push and Pull factors on the intention to switch to the block chain system and the moderating effect through the switching cost which is a Mooring factor, were verified. The hypothesis was verified using a structural equation model using a sample of 320 response data by conducting a questionnaire survey on small and medium-sized enterprises located in Korea. As a result of the study, social influence, which is a push factor, and management's will to innovate, which is a Pull factor, had a significant effect on switching intention. And the moderating effect between the groups with high and low switching cost recognition was confirmed. This study is significant in that it presents the concept and research direction of SCBM (supply chain & blockchain management) that can enhance the competitiveness of a company through the implementation of a blockchain-based supply chain management information system.

  • Bitcoin, which can be classified as a cryptocurrency, has attracted attention from various industries because it is an innovative digital currency and the beginning of a Blockchain system. However, as the research on Bitcoin progressed, several security vulnerabilities and possible attacks were analyzed. Among them, the security problem caused by the transparency of the Blockchain database prevents the Blockchain system from being applied to various fields. This vulnerability is further classified as the weak anonymity of participating nodes and privacy problem due to disclosure of transaction details. In recent years, several countermeasures have been developed against these vulnerabilities. In this paper, we first describe the main features of the public and private Blockchain, and explain privacy, unlinkability and anonymity. And, three public Blockchain platforms, Dash, Zcash and Monero which are derived from Bitcoin, and Hyperledger Fabric which is a private Blockchain platform, are examined. And we analyze the operating principles of the protocols applied on each platform. In addition, we classify the applied technologies into anonymity and privacy protection in detail, analyze the advantages and disadvantages, and compare the features and relative performance of the platforms based on the computational speed of the applied cryptographic mechanisms.

  • Existing real estate markets are monopolized because they are capital intensive and have information asymmetry. However, with the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, technology is converging in various industries based on information technology (IT), and the real estate market is also developing a new field called "PropTech". According to this trend, new PropTech technologies are emerging in various real estate services sectors in Korea, but the electronic contract system, which accounts for the largest portion of the real estate industry, is still cited as a complex identification process and long processing time. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an improvement plan for the current electronic contract system through the introduction of blockchain technology, which is drawing attention with the development of PropTech, and explore the possibility of introduction by producing an experimental model of blockchain-applied electronic contract system in a programming language.
