Milli-structure components are classified as component group whose size is between macro and micro scale. that is, about less than 20mm and larger than 1mm. The forming of these components has a typical phenomenon of bulk deformation with thin sheets because of the forming size. In order to conventional metal forming, where numerical process simulation is already idly applied, the micro-forming process is characterized by some scale effects which have to be considered in an advanced process simulation. milli-structure rectangular cup drawing is analyzed and designed using the finite element method and experiment. The result of the finite element analysis is confirmed by a series of experiment.
To optimization of mlod for fineblanking forming of sector gear of recliner, it was analyzed the effect of clearance, V-ring height, V-ring position, blank holding force and counter punch force. In case of 0.003 mm of clearancs, the finest shear plane was obtained, but optimization between die and punch clearance was 0.005 mm. The height of V-ring was 0.7 mm. In case of increasing of hold force, the size of shear plane got better and the decrement of thickness became smaller. Both the size of shear plane and the decrement of thickness increased according to increasing of counter punch force.

For the purpose of collecting fog droplets as a function of size a new sampling method was developed in this study. Formation of 100$\pm$10㎛ thickness of polymeric water absorbent film (PWAF) on a nuclepore filter could be successfully realized. Also applicability of particle induced X-ray emission (PIXE) method to the chemical analysis of size-segregated fog droplets collected on PWAF was examined experimentally with synthetic fog droplets generated from a nebulizer. Absorption capacity of S-PAAS polymeric water absorbent shows marked decreases in the range less than 1 wt% and slight decrease between 1 and 3.5 wt% of every salt concentration. Dependency of absorption capacity on pH shows the maximum at pH 7. No apparent peak which can influence the quantitative analysis of elements dissolved and suspended in fog droplets was found at PIXE spectrum of PWAF blank. PWAF kept the original shape without rupture under the PIXE analytical conditions of beam intensity for 10 to 60 nA and irradiation time of 4∼5 min. It should be said that the proposed new technique in the work is helpful to get more detailed information of fog droplets, to clarify the fog formation processes, and to develop a model of acid deposition process.
This study aimed at helping to raise the reputation of Tteokgalbi for tourists visiting Damyang by studying the plating of Tteokgalbi. For 15 representative restaurants selling Tteokgalbi, we investigated the balance, blank, and proportions through studying the shape, material, and size of the dishes, and the number, shape, and garnish of one serving size of Teokgalbi. The results of our study suggested that round dishes (7 restaurants) and elliptical dishes (6 restaurants) similar to the shape of Teokgalbi are mainly used. For 13 out of 15 restaurants, the dishes were mainly casting pans in order to serve Tteokgalbi warm. The diameters of round dishes were 230 mm (3 restaurants), 265 mm (2 restaurants), and 300 mm (2 restaurants), and the elliptical dishes mostly had widths of 150 mm and lengths of 240 mm. The color of the dishes was N2-N3, similar to black, and N1, black of pale colors, because the dishes were mainly casting pans. The number of Teokgalbi per serving size was 3 in 12 restaurants. whole sesame was used most (7 restaurants) as a garnish. The results suggested that the color of the dishes and garnish could not imbue much distinction in the color of Tteokgalbi. In other words, Tteokgalbi is now served without consideration of the color, shape, size, or material of Tteokgalbi. The size of Tteokgalbi should be decided with consideration for the size of the dish and the amount of one serving size, and it is necessary to keep studying the process of making and garnish of Tteokgalbi.
A new sampling and size exclusion chromatography (SEC) method for the analysis of underivatized cellulose are established. In this method, cellulose materials are first dissolved in N-methylmorpholine N-oxide (NMMO) and diluted by adding dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) to make the sample solutions of about 0.1% in 50/50 NMMO/DMSO (w/w). Sample solutions are analyzed using a glucose-treated divinylbenzene (DVB) SEC column and DMSO containing 0.05M LiBr and 2.5 blank as the eluant. The flow rate was constant at 1 mL/min and the whole SEC system including the column was heated at $80^{\circ}C$ to reduce the viscosity of DMSO. Addition of 0.05 M LiBr eliminated SEC baseline drifting, and addition of 2.5 blank seems to reduce the interaction between the sample and the column packing. SEC molecular weights were determined using a calibration curve constructed from a series of narrow pullulan standards, and they were used to measure the degree of degradation during two different pulp-to-sponge processings.
This work was attempted to join SCP sheet and STS304 sheet by using Nd:YAC laser beam. SCP sheet has good formability and low cost, while STS304 has excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties in high temp. In this experiment, butt joint type was used to develop the tailored blank welding for dissimilar steel. Sheets which have different thermal properties. Computer simulation was conducted to obtain the off-set position for efficient welding by considering laser power, scanning speed, focal length and basic properties. The result showed that the optimum thermal distribution was obtained when the laser beam was irradiated at $0.05{\sim}0.1$ mm off-set toward the SCP sheet side. The experiment was conducted based on the result of computer simulation to show the same optimum conditions. Optimum conditions were 3KW in laser beam power, 6m/min in scanning speed, -0.5mm in focal position, 0.1mm off-set toward SCP. Microhardness test, tensile test, bulge test, optical microscopy, EDS, and XRD were performed to observe the microstructure around fusion zone and to evaluate the mechanical properties of optimum conditions, The weld zone had high microhardness values by the formation of the martensitic structure. Tensile test measured the strength of welded region by vertical to strain direction and the elongation of welded region by parallel to strain direction. Bulge test showed $52\%$ formability of the original materials. Bead shape, grain size, and martensitic structure were observed by the optical microscopy in the weld zone. Detailed results of EDS, XRD confirmed that the welded region was connected of martensitic structure.
To examine local response of adenosie(purine nucleoside) on the developing mammary gland, Elvax 40P implants containing adenosine were surgically implanted into mammary fat pad of the five week old female ICR mice. Inguinal(the 4th) mammary glands of anesthetized mice were exposed andplaced the implants for 12 days. One gland was treated with an adenosine implant, while the contralateral gland received a blank implant as control. For whole-mount preparations, glands were stained with alum carmine, and for histological observation, micro-selected mammary glands were stained with hematoxylin and eosin Y. Implantation with Elvax 40P did not affect on the damage of neighboring mammary tissue. Adenosie 25 or 250$\mu\textrm{g}$ per slow-release implant stimulated local mammary end bud formation of ovariectomized mice such as end bud size and numbers of end bud per gland in a dose dependent manner(P<0.05), and lower concentration of adenosie(2.5 or 25$\mu\textrm{g}$/implant) increased numbers of end bud(P<0.05) and end bud size(P<0.1) of intact mice. Adenosine treatment and intact ovarian function had moderate interation effects on the stimulation of end bud formation at 2.5$\mu\textrm{g}$ adenosine/implant(P<0.1). In histological observation, adenosine implants increased numbers of mammary epithelial type of cells at mammary duct in the presence or absece ofovary. These results indicate that adenosine should be one of regulators in mouse mammary ductal growth.
Aluminium and aluminium alloys have the high electrical and heat conductivity. It gives rise to difficulties for a choice of electrodes material for their contact electric welding. This paper describes the investigations performed to solve the above problem. The purpose of this investigation was to obtain dispersion-hardening alloys by the internal oxidation method, to optimize their contents and treatment modes, to produce electrodes of these alloys and to test them. The strengthing effect of alloys with oxide particles depends on their size stability at high temperatures. Despite of the fact, that oxides are the most stable of all the non-metallic phases their coagulation takes place. Based on the early results, we chose two types of alloys, first No. 1 Cu - 0,4%Al and second No. 2 Cu - 0,2%Be for production of electrodes. These alloys had not additional alloying elements. These alloys were prepared as 1 mm plates and flake-formed 200 m thick, and also No. 1 as a powder of size 100 mkm (received from Korea). The large samples for electrodes were produced by three methods : explosive welding method, dynamic one including the explosion compression of electrode blank and the quasi-dynamic method including the high-speed compression of dense briquest and the further hot extrusion of a rod.
Hydrophobic plastic plates employing nano surface features are injection molded using thermoplastic materials. A variotherm molding process is devised for filling the nano pores and releasing the molded nano features from the master. The size of the molded nano surface features are about 100nm in diameter and 200nm in height. The size of the molded plate is about 30mm x 30mm and the thickness is 1mm. As molding materials, Polypropylene, PMMA, COC and PC are employed, which are all typical commodity thermoplastic materials. The mold temperature(stamper temperature) is investigated as a major processing parameter for molding high aspect ratio nano surface features. Almost fully molded nano features are fabricated above a certain level of mold temperature depends on the employing material. The contact angles on the injection molded plates are measured to estimate the hydrophobicity and found to have higher contact angle up to 180% compared to the blank plate with no surface features.
