  • Old big tree transcends the simple meaning of trees as they are the natural monuments that embody the people's history and culture of this land. The Cultural Heritage Administration of Korea (CHA) defines and protects old big tree based not only on the size of the tree but also on its definitive cultural and natural factors such as value, implications, and originality. This research aims to identify and analyze the habitation and measurements, the soil conditions, as well as the protective facilities of 14 old big tree spread throughout the Gangwondo. The research examined the soundness of the arboreal form, the degree of damage on the bark, as well as the quantity of leafs levels to evaluate the overall condition of growth and development. Then, the tree height, the eastwest and south-north width of the crown, the sternum circumference, and the root circumference were recorded to identify the measurements of the selected old big tree. Also, the research analyzed 9 elements such as soil texture, pH levels, and organic contents in order to determine the scientific characteristics of soil upon which the trees draw nutrition. Finally, the research evaluated supporting pillars, lightning rods, iron pulling-facilities, as well as notice boards to study the protective facilities of old big tree. The research procedures revealed that 78.57% of the old big tree identified as natural monuments in the Gangwondo have average to above average habitation conditions. Also, the average tree height reaches 18.80m above ground while the average root circumference measures 7.34m. Moreover, the results of the scientific analyses conducted on the soil elements determined that most chemical values were within the defined levels, with the exception of phosphoric acid levels falling within the hyper-nutritious range. Finally, although most of the protective facilities did support the habitation of the Old big tree, there were some supporting pillars and iron pulling-facilities that actually damaged the trees. This research means to provide foundational reference data for the analysis of the habitation and management conditions of natural monument old big tree within the Gangwondo. A follow-up topic led by the results of this research is the identification and analysis of correlating environmental elements that affect the habitation of the old big tree.

  • There was extreme improvement in the processing result of weld toe, but there is possibility that the fatigue failure occurs from the weld root part where the fatigue strength became low relatively. This study did the fatigue test at the cross rib specimens which implemented a partial penetration weld to improve the fatigue strength of the weld root part. As a result of the fatigue test of the partial penetration weld and the fillet weld specimens, almost the same fatigue strength appeared. Because the fatigue failure began from toe, there was not a reinforcement effect in the weld root part by the partial penetration weld. So, it examined fatigue strength at the partial penetration welding specimens which processed toe to stop the fatigue failure of toe part. As a result, there was big fatigue strength improvement from the partial penetration weld than the fillet weld. Therefore, if fatigue crack occurrence can be restrained from toe, it thinks that the fatigue strength of the root part can improve by the partial penetration weld, after all, it thinks that the overall fatigue life can improve.

  • In order to analysis on color difference of yellow natural dyes, I have dyed cellulose and protein fabrics. The results of experiment have been analysed by wavelength of maximum absorption, amounts of dye uptake, color difference, Hunter's value and Munsell's value. The results from these analyses are as follows : Bud of pagoda tree, Amur cork, and Curcuma showed greenish yellow color, Gardenia Jasminoides showed reddish yellow color. Barberry root showed reddish yellow color with post-mordanting method on cellulose fabric. Moreover, Dupioni silk was dyed in reddish yellow color by Barberry root and Rhubarb. In addition to Chroma index, Gardenia Jasminoides and Curcuma showed clear color overall. However, dyeing rayon and silk by Barberry root, and dyeing silk by Rhubarb showed clear color. Comparing all the results to actual dyed materials, Bud of pagoda tree had small dye uptake, and both ${\Delta}a$ and ${\Delta}b$ value were short which can't recognized the yellow color easily. Dye uptake of Amur cork and Gardenia Jasminoides was small just like Bud of pagoda tree. However, ${\Delta}b$ value order was Gardenia Jasminoides>Amur cork>Bud of pagoda tree. Therefore, Gardenia Jasminoides recognized reddish yellow because of big value of red color and yellow color. In case of Barberry root and Rhubarb which have larger dye uptake, Baberry root recognized yellow color on rayon only, and couldn't recognized yellow color on bleached cotton fabric, ramie, silk, and dupioni silk. Rhubarb recognized yellow color on rayon with pre-mordanting method only, but recognized silk and dupioni silk as brown like color. Moreover, we could not analyze color by dye uptake, Lab, and H(v/c) for Barberry root and Rhubarb. As a result, I think we need to attach color table for the research paper which handled the color of dyeing materials.

  • The 2020 US Presidential Election was a highly-anticipated moment for our global society. During the election period, the most intriguing issue was who would be the winner-Trump or Biden? Among the possible main themes of the 2020 election, from the COVID-19 pandemic to racism, this study focused on feminism ('women') as a main component of Biden's victory. To explore the character of Biden's supporters, this paper focused on internet spaces as a source of public opinion. To guide the data analysis, this study employed four indices from empirical studies on Big Data analytics: issue salience, attention diversity, emotional mentioning, and semantic cohesion. The main finding of this study was that the representative keyword 'women' appeared more prevalently within content related to Biden than Trump, and the keyword pairs indicated that female voters were the main reason for Trump's failure but the root cause of Biden's victory. The results of this study indicated the role of the internet as a forum for public opinion and a fountain of political knowledge, which requires more rigorous investigation by researchers.

  • This study aims tried to present develop a management plan for about old and big trees and legally protected trees by investigating through the present the current status and the distribution of the legally protected trees and old and big tree that range in Gwangju, South Korea. The number of legally protected plants that distributed in Gwangju City is 68 individual trees from 9 species. The largest number was found in Gwangsan-gu (18 trees). The total number of the old and big trees that are distributed in Gwangju City was confirmed as 155 individual trees from 10 species. It must to be corrected to a correct plant species name that species name is written in review articles incorrectly. The average vitality rate of the legally protected plants was 1.2 and the status of ground was 1.7 on average. And the vitality rate of the old and big trees was 1.3 and the status of ground was 2.0 on average. Vitality are not significantly different between the legally protected trees and old and big trees. Ground status of old and big trees worse than legally protected trees. Gingko biloba (found in Gwangsan-gu Songdaedong Daechon village) was only legally protected plant that requires urgent management due to low vitality rate (between 3.2 and 4.0). Among old and big trees Salix glandulosa which is found in Gwangsan-gu Sansu-dong Gamdong village was only one that requires urgent care. The most important status for the old and big tree is securing minimal space for growth. Therefore, we conclude that the most urgent measure in the management and projection of old and big trees and legally protected plants is removal of asphalt or cement above the surface of root system.

  • Nickel-Titanium (NiTi) rotary instruments have brought a big step toward "efficient" practice of endodontic procedure. The rotary files help clinicians to reduce their working time and also increase the clinical success rate with minimal procedural errors. However, NiTi instruments still have a few drawbacks including unpredictable fatigue fracture. Clinicians may reduce the potential risk of instruments fracture by following some clinical guidelines for rotary instruments. In some clinical cases of instruments fracture, we may try to remove the instruments' fragments or bypass the fragment to reach the apical canal. In some limited cases, the fractured instruments' fragments would not jeopardize the clinical prognosis of root canal treatment. Nevertheless, it is impossible to be overemphasized that the prevention of file fracture is much easier than the removal of fracture fragment. Clinicians need to understand the fracture mechanisms and, in clinic, need to discard the used instruments timely.
