요추 질환에 대한 신기공 오금희의 동작연구 -10식, 15식, 18식을 중심으로- (Study on the Movement of New Qi-gong "WuQinXi" Exercise for Lumbar Spinal Disease : Based on 10 Mode, 15 Mode, 18 Mode)

  • Hua-Tuo(145-208) created five "WuQinXi" exercise by imitating the movements of a tiger, a deer, a bear, a monkey and a bird. The "WuQinXi" exercise, one of the medical Qi-gongs, is an exercise maximizing human's self healing power and has been effective significantly at several modern researches. There are many exercise therapies in western medcine, such as Willamss flexion exercise, Mckenzie's extension exercise, vertebral stabilization exercise and so on. However, there isn't a special exercise therapy which can be applied for medical practice in oriental medicine. So We selected some motions from "WuQinXi" exercise, which are suitable for lumbar spinal disease, and analyzed them. After that, We assorted them by kinds of lumbar spinal disease. First, We selected 22 motions which are related with lumbar movements from 3 type "WuQinXi" exercises ; 10 mode, 15 mode, 18 mode. And then, We classified them according to lumbar movements as flexion, extention, lateral bending and rotation, and also functions as stabilization and rubbing. Next, with these classifications, We assorted those motions by kinds of lumbar spinal disease as HIVD(herniation of intervertebral disc), spinal stenosis, spondylolysis and spondylolisthesis, facet joint syndrome, compression fracture and spondylosis. We expect that trying "WuQinXi" exercise at clinic in this way, the particular exercise therapy of oriental medicine, "WuQinXi" exercise will become more popular. And Oriental medical doctors will be able to teach patients "WuQinXi" exercise's motions easily at clinic, depending on kinds of lumbar spinal disease each patient suffers from. We plan to study more about 20 mode, 30 mode, 40 mode and the effect of "WuQinXi" exercise by comparing patients who do the "WuQinXi" exercise with the patients who do the western medical exercise therapy.

다단 치차장치 설계 시스템 개발에 관한 연구(제 2보: 일반화된 신설계 알고리즘의 개발) (Development of a Design System for Multi-Stage Gear Drives (2nd Report: Development of a Generalized New Design Algorithm))

  • The design of multi-stage gear drives is a time-consuming process because it includes more complicated problems, which are not considered in the design of single-stage gear drives. The designer has no determine the number of reduction stages and the gear ratios of each reduction stage. In addition, the design problems include not only dimensional design but also configuration design of gear drive elements. There is no definite rule or principle for these types of design problems. Thus the design practices largely depend on the sense and the experiences of the designer, and consequently result in undesirable design solution. A new and generalized design algorithm has been proposed to support the designer at the preliminary phase of the design of multi-stage gear drives. The proposed design algorithm automates the design process by integrating the dimensional design and the configuration design process. The algorithm consists of four steps. In the first step, the user determines the number of reduction stages. In the second step, gear ratios of every stage are chosen using the random search method. The values of the basic design parameters of a gear are chose in the third step by using the generate and test method. Then the values of the dimensions, such as pitch diameter, outer diameter and face width, are calculated for the configuration design in the next step. The strength and durability of each gear is guaranteed by the bending strength and the pitting resistance rating practices by using AGMA rating formulas. In the final step, the configuration design is carried out using simulated annealing algorithm. The positions of gears and shafts are determined to minimize the geometrical volume (size) of a gearbox while avoiding interferences between them. These steps are carried out iteratively until a desirable solution is acquired. The proposed design algorithm is applied to the preliminary design of four-stage gear drives in order to validate the availability. The design solution has considerably good results in both aspects of the dimensional and the configuration design.

장스팬 비닐하우스의 폭설에 의한 붕괴방지법 연구 (Collapse Prevention Method of Long-span Plastic Greenhouse for Heavy Snow)

  • 최근 기상이변에 따라 폭설로 인한 비닐하우스의 붕괴가 빈번해져서 농가의 피해가 증가하고 있다. 하지만 이에 대한 대책연구는 미약하여 매년 농가의 피해는 되풀이 되고 있다. 그리하여 본 연구에서는 고강도 변단면 부재를 이용한 모듈을 적용하여 근본적인 구조체의 붕괴를 방지하고, 인장타이재를 이용한 추가적인 보강을 통하여 비닐하우스의 붕괴를 방지하고자 한다. 비닐하우스 프레임의 경우 처짐설계보다는 강도설계에 의해 단면이 지배되므로 모멘트가 최대가 되는 부분에 고강도의 변단면 부재를 적용한다. 현재 설치된 비닐하우스의 형태는 아치의 형태를 하고 있으나, 구조적으로는 곡선부(보)와 직선부(기둥)가 불연속의 형상을 하고 있어 연직하중에 대해 아치거동보다는 프레임거동을 하는 취약한 구조시스템이다. 직선부재(기둥) 상단에 폭설 시에만 임시적으로 인장타이재를 추가함으로써 모멘트로 저항하던 프레임 구조체를 축력에 저항하는 타이아치형 구조체로의 단기적인 변화를 유도하여 구조체의 내력을 증가시키고자 한다. 고강도 변단면 부재를 이용하면 조합강도비가 10~30% 정도 감소하였으며, 인장타이재를 이용하여 추가보강하면 조합강도비가 절반 이하로 감소하였다.

  • 온도프리스트레싱 공법은 강합성거더교 또는 강구조물에 인위적인 온도경사를 가하여 프리스트레싱력을 도입하기 위해 개발된 공법으로, 연속 강합성거더교에 적용할 경우 부모멘트 발생지점인 연속지점부 부근의 바닥판에 프리스트레스를 도입함으로써 콘크리트 바닥판의 인장균열을 억제하는 한편, 교축방향 보강철근 사용량 및 강거더 단면을 감소시킬 수 있어 경제성과 시공성의 향상이 가능한 공법이다. 이전의 연구에서 가열구간을 설정하기 위해 사용한 시행오차법은 비효율적인 것으로 온도프리스트레싱 공법을 적용한 설계가 효율적으로 이루어지기 위해서는 보다 합리적인 적정 가열구간의 설정기법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 패턴인식, 최적화, 진단 및 예측 등을 수행하는데 많이 사용되고 있는 인공신경망 이론을 적용하여 온도프리스트레싱 공법을 적용한 연속 강합성거더교의 가열구간을 효과적이고 경제적으로 설정하는 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 인공신경망 이론을 학습시키기 위한 학습알고리즘으로는 일반적으로 널리 사용되는 오차역전파 알고리즘을 사용하였으며, 이를 이용하여 2경간 및 3경간 연속 강합성거더교의 가열구간을 예측하고 유한요소해석과의 비교를 통하여 학습알고리즘의 특성 및 예측의 정확도를 분석하였다.

과열증기 열처리 잣나무재의 물성 평가 (Evaluation of Physical Properties of Korean Pine (Pinus koraiensis Siebold & Zucc.) Lumber Heat-Treated by Superheated Steam)

  • 본 연구에서는 과열증기를 이용한 열처리 공정 제어 방법을 설계하고 적용하였다. $170^{\circ}C$, 0.4 MPa 조건의 과열증기에서 약 10시간 동안 열처리한 잣나무 판재의 물리 및 역학적 성질 변화를 무처리재 및 $220^{\circ}C$ 상압조건에서 일반 열처리한 목재와 비교하였다. 과열증기 처리재는 무처리재에 비해서 수분 흡습량 및 평형함수율이 낮아졌으며, 종압축 강도 및 휨 강도가 증가하였다. 흡습성은 일반 열처리재와 비슷하였으며, 일반 열처리 시 발생하기 쉬운 내부 할렬은 발생하지 않았다. 또한 과열증기 처리에 의해서 잣나무 내부에 있는 다량의 송진이 제거되는 효과도 나타내었다.

이모골라이트의 합성 (Synthesis of Imogolite by a Hydrothemal Method)

  • $SiO_2$를 함유한 테트라에시실란(Tetracthoxysilanc: TEOS)과 알루미늄-섹-버트옥사이드(alumimum-sec-butoxide: ASB)를 출발물질로 이용하여 $100^{\circ}C$ 이하에서 결정성이 양호한 이모골라이트를 합성하였다. 합성실험은 환류장치가 부착된 둥근 플라스크에서 연속교반하면서 수열법으로 수행하였다. 이때, 화학조성은 $Al_{2}O_{3}/SiO_2$ = 1의 조건이었다. TEOS와 ABS의 농도 0.5 M의 조건에서 합성된 이모골라이트의 분말 X-선 회절 분석결과. d = 22.4. 9.5 등에서 회절선들을 관찰할 수 있었고, DTA/TG 분석견과에서는 $68^{\circ}C$에서 탈수반응에 의한, 그리고 $249^{\circ}C$에서 탁수산화 반응에 의한 흡열반응이 관찰되었으며 중량손실은 약 41%이었다. 또한, 합성된 이모골라이트는 Si-O-Al 신축진동(953과 $993cm^{-1}$)과 O-Si-O 굽힘 진동$(562cm^{-1})$에 의해서 미약하고 비대핑형의 피크 분리가 관찰되었고, TEM 분석결과, 이모골라이트 결정은 섬유상이었으며 거리줄 모양의 네트워크 구조를 보였다.

태양전지용 실리콘 기판의 절삭손상 식각 조건에 의한 곡강도 변화 (Effect of Saw-Damage Etching Conditions on Flexural Strength in Si Wafers for Silicon Solar Cells)

  • We have studied methods to save Si source during the fabrication process of crystalline Si solar cells. One way is to use a thin silicon wafer substrate. As the thickness of the wafers is reduced, mechanical fractures of the substrate increase with the mechanical handling of the thin wafers. It is expected that the mechanical fractures lead to a dropping of yield in the solar cell process. In this study, the mechanical properties of 220-micrometer-solar grade Cz p-type monocrystalline Si wafers were investigated by varying saw-damage etching conditions in order to improve the flexural strength of ultra-thin monocrystalline Si solar cells. Potassium hydroxide (KOH) solution and tetramethyl ammonium hydroxide (TMAH) solution were used as etching solutions. Etching processes were operated with a varying of the ratio of KOH and TMAH solutions in different temperature conditions. After saw-damage etching, wafers were cleaned with a modified RCA cleaning method for ten minutes. Each sample was divided into 42 pieces using an automatic dicing saw machine. The surface morphologies were investigated by scanning electron microscopy and 3D optical microscopy. The thickness distribution was measured by micrometer. The strength distribution was measured with a 4-point-bending tester. As a result, TMAH solution at $90^{\circ}C$ showed the best performance for flexural strength.

The Use of Near Infrared Reflectance Spectroscopy (NIRS) for Broiler Carcass Analysis

  • NIRS uses reflectance signals resulting from bending and stretching vibrations in chemical bonds between carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, sulfur and oxygen. These reflectance signals are used to measure the concentration of major chemical composition and other descriptors of homogenized and freeze-dried whole broiler carcasses. Six strains of chicken were analyzed and the NIRS model predictions compared to reference data. The results of this comparison indicate that NIRS is a rapid tool for predicting dry matter (DM), fat, crude protein (CP) and ash content in the broiler carcass. Males and females of six commercial strain crosses of broiler chicken (Gallus domesticus) were used in this study (6$\times$2 factorial design). Each strain was grown to 16 weeks of age, and duplicate serial samples were taken for body composition analysis. Each whole carcass was pressure-cooked, homogenized, and a representative sample was freeze-dried. Body composition determined as follows: DM by oven dried method at 105$^{\circ}C$ for 3 hours, fat by Mojonnier diethyl ether extraction, CP by measuring nitrogen content using an auto-analyzer with Kjeldhal digest and ash by combustion in a muffle furnace for 24 hour at 55$0^{\circ}C$. These homogenized and freeze-dried carcass samples were then scanned with a Foss NIR Systems 6500 visible-NIR spectrophotometer (400-2500nm) (Foss NIR Systems, Silver Spring, MD., US) using Infra-Soft-International, ISI, WinISl software (ISI, Port Matilda, US). The NIRS spectra were analyzed using principal component (PC) analysis. This data was corrected for scatter using standard normal “Variate” and “Detrend” technique. The accuracy of the NIRS calibration equations developed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) for predicting major chemical composition and carcass descriptors- such as body mass (BM), bird dry matter and moisture content was tested using cross validation. Discrimination analysis was also used for sex and strain identification. According to Dr John Shenk, the creator of the ISI software, the calibration equations with the correlation coefficient, $R^2$, between reference data and NIRS predicted results of above 0.90 is excellent and between 0.70 to 0.89 is a good quantifying guideline. The excellent calibration equations for DM ($R^2$= 0.99), fat (0.98) and CP (0.92) and a good quantifying guideline equation for ash (0.80) were developed in this study. The results of cross validation statistics for carcass descriptors, body composition using reference methods, inter-correlation between carcass descriptors and NIRS calibration, and the results of discrimination analysis for sex and strain identification will also be presented in the poster. The NIRS predicted daily gain and calculated daily gain from this experiment, and true daily gain (using data from another experiment with closely related broiler chicken from each of the six strains) will also be discussed in the paper.

지붕마감재 강성효과를 고려한 2방향 그리드 단층돔의 좌굴특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Buckling Characteristics of 2-way Grid Single-Layer Domes Considering Rigidity-Effect of Roofing Covering Materials)

  • Two way grid single-layer domes are of great advantage in fabrication and construction because of the simple fact that they have only four members at each junction. But, from a point of view of mechanics, the rectangular latticed pattern gives rise to a nonuniform rigidity-distribution in the circumferential direction. If the equivalent rigidity is considered in the axial direction of members, the in-plane equivalent shearing rigidity depends only on the in-plane bending rigidity of members and its value is very small in comparison to that of the in-plane equivalent stretching rigidity. It has a tendency to decrease buckling -strength of dome considerably by external force. But it is possible to increase buckling strength by the use of roofing covering materials connected to framework. In a case like this, shearing rigidity of roofing material increases buckling strength of the overall structure and can be designed economically from the viewpoint of practice. Therefore, the purpose of this paper, in Lamella dome and rectangular latticed dome that are a set of 2-way grid dome, is to clarify the effects of roofing covering materials for increasing of buckling strength of overall dome. Analysis method is based on FEM dealing with the geometrically nonlinear deflection problems. The conclusion were given as follows: 1. In case of Lamella domes which have nearly equal rigidity in the direction of circumference, the rigidity of roofing covering materials does not have a great influence on buckling-strength, but in rectangular latticed domes that has a clear periodicity of rigidity, the value of its buckling strength has a tendency to increase considerably with increasing rigidity of roofing covering materials 2. In case of rectangular latticed domes, as rise-span-ratio increases, models which is subjected to pressure -type-uniform loading than vertical-type-uniform loading are higher in the aspects of the increasing rate of buckling- strength according to the rate of shear reinforcement rigidity, but in case of Lamella dome, the condition of loading and rise-span-ratio do not have a great influence on the increasing rate of buckling strength according to the rate of shear reinforcement rigidity.

궤도시스템이 철도교량의 정.동적거동에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구 (The Experimental Study on the Effect of Track System on the Integral Behavior of Railway Bridge)

  • 철도교에서는 일정한 간격의 축중을 가지는 차량하중이 반복적으로 재하되므로 정적성능과 더불어 동적성능이 매우 중요하다. 또한 철도교의 상부에 부설되는 궤도시스템은 교량의 정 동적 성능에 영향을 주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구에서는 실제 궤도시스템을 적용한 거더시험체를 제작하여 궤도시스템에 따른 교량의 정 동적거동을 분석하였다. 정적거동 분석에서는 교량 처짐 및 응력을 검토하고 중립축위치를 분석하였으며, 동적거동 분석에서는 고유진동수, 감쇠비, 하중크기, 하중진폭에 대한 영향을 궤도시스템별로 검토하였다. 궤도부설에 따른 정적처짐 변화검토를 통해 궤도 부설전에 비해 자갈궤도는 약 7%, 콘크리트궤도는 약 50%의 강성 증가 효과가 있음을 확인하였고, 궤도 부설 시 교량의 고유진동수가 낮아졌으나 감쇠비 변화는 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 최대하중 크기가 증가할수록 철도교량의 동적응답(처짐 및 가속도)이 선형적으로 증가하였으며, 하중진 폭은 공진 시 교량의 동적응답을 크게 증가시키는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서, 자갈궤도는 교량의 강성을 일정 부분 증가시키고, 콘크리트궤도의 경우 자갈궤도 부설 교량에 비해 상당한 강성기여도를 가지고 있음을 실험적으로 입증하였으나, 정량적인 강성기여도의 크기는 자갈궤도 및 콘크리트궤도의 설계값에 따라 상이할 수 있기 때문에 이를 적용할 수 있는 궤도의 질량 및 강성기여도 분석방법 개발이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
