The horizontal movement of sloping ground due to flow liquefaction has caused many pile foundations to fail, especially those in ports and harbor structures. In this study, a virtual case is assumed in which flow liquefaction is induced by earthquake loads in a fully saturated infinite sand slope with a single pile installation. Under the assumption that the movement of liquefied ground is viscous fluid flow, the influence of ground movement due to flow liquefaction on the pile behavior was analyzed. Since the liquefied soil is assumed as a viscous fluid, its viscosity must be evaluated, and the viscosity was estimated by the dropping ball method ,md the pulling bar method. Finally, the influence of the flow of liquefied soil on a single pile installed in an infinite slope was analyzed by a numerical method.

Since electric railroad vehicle pass through repeatedly on the railroad bridge, the dynamic load that causes the change of tension of contact wire affect it constantly. In this paper, we measured the dynamic displacement of the railroad bridges to analyze the effect of tension in the catenary. A result of dynamic measurement of the longitudinal displacement, it's maximum value was 39.9mm which was lower than the primary management criteria 378mm. Also on the based of a maximum temperature, it shows a feature that the longitudinal displacement value increased as temperature rise from April to October. In terms of behavior characteristics of a tensioning device, it was confirmed to be the value of 50mm stroke movement when the temperature changes ±5℃.

The subsidence characteristics of artificial reef in the unsteady flow such as tidal flow were investigated. The scour and subsidence characteristics were confirmed in the steady flow field, wave field and steady flow-wave field. In a main study, the interaction of Flow-Sediment Movement-Structure Behavior and scour.subsidence mechanism were discussed in the unsteady flow field and the unsteady flow-wave field. Most of all, the continuous artificial reef subsidence from the scour was occurred by periodic behavior of artificial reef. This behavior is result from the asymmetric ground, and is influenced by maximum velocity, duration time and direction of flow.

The assessment of earthquake hazards involved consideration of earthquake magnitude, frequency, last movement and probability of occurrence. The appraisal of earthquake potential is feasible because historical data show a good correlation between earthquake size and the fault rupture parameters of length, displacement, and area. Additionally, the characteristics of fault behavior should be considered to evaluate the earthquake potential magnitude. In this study, in order to evaluate the earth quake potential by the fault behavioral patterns, based on the experimental background which the geometric characteristics of the individual domains, such as strike, width, fault tip patterns, and orientation of secondary shears reflect sliding behavioral patterns in each section, the straight sections of A, D and E domains were examined to the creeping section of stably sliding. In contrast, the curved section of B domain was examined to the locked section of stick-slip movement. These results of studies can be applied to evaluate the earthquake potential magnitude from the fault structural parameters.

Simulation technique for the fish behavior was applied to estimate fish school movement in the cage net. Individual-based fish behavior model (Huth and Wessel, 1991) was evaluated in a free area to understand the characteristics for the model, and the movement in the cage net was simulated by defining the fish reaction against the displacement of cage net. As a result, the distance to the net was not considerably changed and the space among fishes in cage net was slightly decreased by reducing the net space. Swimming area was, however, significantly affected by changing the net space and the relationship between swimming area and net displacement was theoretically estimated as y=-0.21x+1.02 ($R^2$=0.96). these results leads the conclusion that individual-based model was appropriated to describe the fish school reaction in the cage net and be able to use for evaluating the influence on cultured fish.

In Jeju Island, red sea bream is mainly caught by long line with a live squid as bait. The movements of artificial jigs in the fishery are supposed to be an important factor for catching the target organism as well as bait. To develop new fishing method for long line fishery, movements of the bait which was squid were tried to be characterized. In a water tank experiment, a live squid was hooked by a fish hook attached to a model long line. And then movements of squids in the water tank were recorded for 20 minutes by a video camera. Recorded movement of the squid was just periodically up-and-down moving, with a dominant frequency of 0.125Hz, and amplitude of 10.8cm.

The purpose of this study is to examine the residents' life style affected by community-oriented behavior, and to assess the implication of changes in communities and in the participants' sense of community resulted from the Community Currency Movement in Korea. 4 Community Currency organizations were selected for this study and some methodologies such as field research, survey of actual conditions and depth interview research were used, By using of this methodology. We can analyze the characteristics of Community Currency Movement in Korea and the degree of participants' sense of community. As a result of this study, it was found that the residents recognized 'new' community and felt 'a sense of belonging' by exchanging the community currency. They have also expanded 'a sense of responsibility' for the community through the exchange of this currency. Along with this change of attitude, participants have made a new community norms and they have been more or less controled by the norm. Moreover, the emotional satisfaction and the needs for improving self-esteem have been realized within the community, and the intimacy as well as solidarity have been built up and enhanced. In conclusion, the Community Currency Movement gives a significant implication to the communities that seek to solve the community problems of the contemporary society through the communal effort by the residents themselves. Furthermore, in terms of community welfare, this process will be of an immense help in reinforcing self-help ability of the residents effectively.

The purpose of this study was to clarify service quality of apparel stores and find out related variables. The related variables are contained customer's characteristics (shopping orientation, demographic characteristics), store types and store patronage behavior in apparel store. The subjects selected for the final analysis were 363 females aged from 20 to 59 who lived in Taejon. And the data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed through factor analysis, ANOVA, cluster analysis, regression, Duncan test, Tukey test. The results of this study were as follows; 1. Services quality of apparel stores consisted of seven dimensions ; ability of salesperson, belief in policy, convenience of facility, attractiveness of physical environment, convenience of using credit cards, convenience of space movement. and apparence of salespeople. 2. Shopping orientation consisted of four dimensions; recreational shopping orientation, rational shopping orientation. convenience-oriented shopping orientation, price-conscious shopping orientation. Shopper types consisted of three dimensions ; recreational-economical type shopper, rational type shopper, convenience-oriented type shopper. Significant relationships were found out between those shopper types and service quality. Significant difference was caused by demographic characteristics(age, marital status, education, income. job) except for places of residence and service quality. 3. The significant difference was found out between store types and service quality. 4. Service quality(ability of salespeople. belief in policy, convenience of facility, convenience of using credit cards. apparence of salespeople) were influenced store patronage behavior.

The purpose of this study was to determine dimension of service quality, there by to analyze difference of service quality according to the types of fashion retail stores. and to investigate consumer variables (demographic characteristics, purchase behavior) and service quality which affect consumer satisfaction. The subject were 451 women in the age of twenty to forty years old who live in Seoul and the suburban of Seoul. The results of the study were as follows : First, it was found that fashion retail store's service quality was classified 5 factors: (1)salesperson. (2)convenience of shopping, (3)variety of product and facility. (4)store policy, (5)efficiency of movement. Second, departmentstore was evaluated the highest in terms of all factors. Discountstore was evaluated highly in terms of store policy and lowly in terms of variety of production and facility. East & South gate fashion shopping mall was evaluated the lowest in terms of all factors except variety of product and facility. Third, service quality and satisfaction showed significant differences in demographic characteristics. Purchase behavior of each fashion retail stores showed significant differences. The difference of service quality and satisfaction depending on purchase behavior showed a significant positive relation. Forth, service quality of discountstore and East & South gate fashion shopping mall were affected by purchase behavior partially. Departmentstore users were affected by salesperson and store policy. Discountstore users were affected by all factors except convenience of shopping. East & South fate fashion shopping mall users were affected by all factors.

The pre-examination closely beforehand relation between the articles on exhibition and visitors, the visitors and exhibition space, the exhibition space and the articles on exhibition, and the acceptance of various requirements are the matters you should consider in the initial stage when planning the establishment of a museum. Especially, the clear guideline for the layout of exhibition to meet the intention of spectators considered based on the seeing behavior in the exhibition hall (i.e. they see the articles on exhibition in order passively under instructions of the museum or select them by themselves positively etc.), and the moving line of appreciation and the exhibition type seems to be not yet prepared sufficiently. This study can be defined as the study of fundamental background for the architectural guideline for the characteristics of visitor's behavior, the selected moving line in the exhibition hall, the layout against the forced moving line and the type of exhibition space. As a part of this study, we carried out the research and the study for how the movement of visitors and the characteristics of seeing behaviors according to the type of the moving line are shown, based on the type of moving line for seeing suggested by David Dean.
