중부지방 조경용 자생식물 소재의 개발에 관한 연구 (Studies on Development of Native Landscape Plants for Middle Area of Korea)

  • In the middle areas of South Korea, we collected 308 wild herbaceous species for studying the possibility of landscaping and, growing them at West in Yongin country of Kyunggi province. We observed their vegetative and flowering characteristic. And the result is as follow: 1. 76 species(24.7%) such as Hosta capitata, etc. of them are thought useful for flower-bedding or landscaping for park and ground-covering, while 94 species(30.6%) are regarded useful for ground-covering, potting and indoor-planting. They are Nepatica maxima and Thaliticum minus var. hypoleucum, etc. 46 species(15%) seems to be useful for flower-bedding, ground-covering and potting. 2. 264(85.7%) of all the observed species are for the enjoyment of their flowers, while 36 species(11.4%) for the enjoyment of their leaves, and 9 species(2.9%) for their fruit. They are Viburnum dilatatum, etc. 3. As for the relation of their habits to light conditions, 148 species(48%) grow int he full sun of more than 50,000Lux, 138 species(44.8%) usually in in the half shade of 20,000 to 30,000Lux, 15 species(4.9%) in the shade of some 10,000Lux, and 7 speciese grow either in the full sun or in the shde. 4. some species such as Wasabia koreansa, Allium succuliferum, Asterglehni, Ligulariafisheri, Ligularia stenocephala Epimedium koreanum are considered available as edible plants as well as ornamentals plants, and Houttuynia cordata. Saururus chinensis, Epimedium koreanum need to be further developed not only as ornamental plants but also medicinal plants.

  • The use of a robotic transplanter reduces the labor requirement in the greenhouse by carrying out repetitive tasks in an accurate and reliable manner. The transplanter manipulates seedlings by means of end-effector. The end-effector is designed differently from an industrial robot because it manulates biological seedlings of variable size, shape, position, and orientation. This study was conducted to develop an end-effector of a robotic transplanter for bedding plants. The development of an end-effector included selection of the best finger type for the transplanting operation. The performance of developed end-effector was tested and compared with two different transplanting schemes depending on the leaf-orientation consideration. The end-effector developed in this research reliably handled seedlings during transplanting task. Results showed that the shovel type finger was suitable for transplanting with the damaging seedlings.

  • This study was conducted to develope a machine vision system for a robotic transplanter for bedding plants. Specific objectives of this study were 1) to get coordinates of the healthy seedlings in high-density plug tray, and 2) to get the angle of the leaves of the healthy seedlings to avoid the damage to seedlings by gripper. Results of this study were summarized as follows. (1) The machine vision system of a robotic transplanter was developed. (2) Success rates of detecting empty cell and bad seedlings for 72-cell and 128-cell plug-trays were 98.8% and 94, 9% respectively. (3) Success rates of calculating the angle of leaves fer 72-cell and 128-cell plug-trays were 93.5% and 91.0% respectively.

  • This study was conducted to develope the gripper of a robotic transplanter for bedding plants. Specific objectives of this study were 1) to develope the gripper for plug tray seedlings and 2) to find the suitable finger type for transplanting. The performance of gripper was tested and compared by two different transplanting methods, which were to consider the leaf position of seedlings and not to consider. The results of this study are summarized as follows. (1) The gripper of a robotic transplanter was developed and tested with 4 different finger type. (2) The shovel type finger was suitable for transplanting with the least percent of damaged seedlings.

돈분뇨 처리수 유래 질소와 인 제거를 위한 식물정화법 활용과 바이오매스의 바이오메탄 잠재성 연구 (Application of Phytoremediation for Total Nitrogen and Total Phosphorus Removal from Treated Swine Wastewater and Bio-methane Potential of the Biomass)

  • 본 연구는 거대억새(Miscanthus sacchariflorus var Geode Uksae-1)와 갈대(Phragmites australis)를 활용하여 돈분뇨 처리수 유래 영양염류(질소 및 인) 제거를 정량적으로 분석하고 생산된 바이오매스의 총 에너지가와 바이오메탄 잠재성 분석을 목적으로 수행되었다. 식물들은 일반토양과 사질토 또는 일반토양, 사질토 및 바이오세라믹의 혼합 여재로 채워진 용기에서 다루어졌다. 사용된 돈분뇨 처리수의 총질소와 총인함량은 각각 222.78 mg/L 과 66.11 mg/L에 해당하였다. 총질소와 총인 모두 바이오세라믹 첨가구에서 높은 제거율을 보였다. 거대억새에서 총질소 제거율이 가장 높게 나타났다(96.14%). 하지만 식물체의 원소분석 결과 갈대의 질소함량이 거대억새보다 더 높게 나타나 갈대의 질소흡착력이 더 뛰어난 것으로 판단된다. 반면 가장 높은 총 인 제거율을 보인 처리구는 갈대로 98.12%의 값을 보였다. 식물체 셀룰로스 함량은 일반토양 처리구보다 바이오세라믹 처리구에서 약 3~6% 더 높게 나타나 바이오세라믹은 식물섬유 형성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구에서 생산된 바이오매스의 바이오메탄 잠재성 분석결과 약 $57.01{\sim}99.25L-CH_4/kg$ VS의 값을 보였다. 리그닌은 식물의 바이오매스 분해를 방해하는 요소로 일반토양-사질토 여재를 사용한 갈대 처리구에서 가장 높게 나타나 메탄 생산력이 떨어지는 것으로 판단된다.

  • This study was conducted to develop a robotic transplanter for bedding plants. The robotic transplanter consisted of machine vision system, a manipulator, a gripper and plug tray transfer system. The performance of the robotic transplanter was tested and compared by two different transplanting methods, which were to consider the leaf orientation of seedlings and not to. Results of this study were as follows. (1) A cartesian coordinate manipulator for a robotic transplanter with 3 degree of freedom was constructed. The accuracy of position control was $\pm$1 mm. (2) The robotic transplanter with the machine vision system, the manipulator, the gripper and the transfer system was developed and tested with a shovel-type finger. Without considering the orientation of leaves, the success rates of transplanting healthy cucumber seedlings in 72-cell and 128-cell plug-trays were 95.5% and 94.5% respectively. Considering the orientation of leaves, the success rates of transplanting healthy cucumber seedling in 72-cell and 128-cell plug-trays were 96.0% and 95.0% respectively.

돌토끼고사리 포자체의 대량생산을 위한 몇 가지 요인 (Several Factors Affecting Mass Production of Microlepia strigosa (Thunb.) C. Presl Sporophytes)

  • 본 연구는 돌토끼고사리의 포자발아, 전엽체 증식, 포자체 형성 및 육묘의 조건을 구명하여 대량증식 체계를 확립하기 위해 수행되었다. 포자 발아는 영양물질의 함량이 낮은 배지에서 촉진되었으며, 특히 Knop배지에서 최종 발아율(100%)과 전엽체의 발달이 우수하였다. MS배지를 기본으로 하여 배지구성물질을 1 / 8-2배로 조절한 배지와 Knop배지에서 전엽체를 배양한 결과, 2XMS배지에서 전엽체의 생육이 가장 왕성하였으며 다수의 장정기가 발달하였다. 또한 배지에 sucrose의 첨가량은 3%가 적절하였으며, 전엽체의 정상적인 증식을 위해 활성탄은 첨가하지 않는 것이 좋을 것으로 생각되었다. 원예용 상토, 피트모스, 펄라이트 및 마사토 등을 이용하여 포자체 형성에 적합한 배양토와 육묘용토를 개발하고자 하였다. 연구의 결과, 생육이 우수한 다수의 포자체를 형성시키기 위해서는 상토 : 피트모스 : 마사토를 1 : 1 : 1(v : v : v)로 혼합하는 것이 효과적이었다. 또한 형성된 포자체들은 50공 플러그 트레이에 상토 : 마사토를 2 : 1(v : v)로 혼합한 토양을 충진하여 육묘하였을 때 지상부의 생육이 왕성하고 뿌리의 발생량도 가장 많았다.

Analysis of the International Flowers & Plants Expo Tokyo in 2017

  • This study aimed to provide basic data on current trends in floriculture through a survey. The exhibitors' purposes and items displayed at the Tokyo International Flowers & Plants Expo in 2017 were surveyed. The survey was conducted among 238 exhibitors during the exhibition period from October 11 to 13, 2017. As a result, participants came from 14 countries including Belgium, China, Colombia, Japan, Korea and France. The purposes of the majority of the surveyed exhibitors were to display cultivars (86 exhibitors, 36.3%), followed by to display merchandise, subsidiary materials and cultivation techniques. Among cultivars, pot plants accounted for the majority of the entire cultivars (54 exhibitors, 55.1%), followed by cut flowers (35 exhibitors, 35.7%), sapling, and seeds. The most of the displayed pot plants were ornamental plants (27 exhibitors, 43.5%), followed by garden trees, ground cover plants, bedding plants and succulent plants. The most of the displayed cut flowers were rose (8 exhibitors, 21.1%), followed by lisianthus, chrysanthemum and dahila. In terms of cultivation techniques, those using moss were displayed by 7 exhibitors (50%) and green-wall techniques were displayed by 6 exhibitors (42.9%). In terms of merchandise, processed products were displayed by 21 exhibitors (41.2%), followed by floral products. Therefore, the IFEX can be used as a place to understand current trends in the floriculture market.
