Tendency to Post Modernism on Chanel Collection (샤넬컬렉션에 나타난 포스트모더니즘적 경향)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the Chanel Collection, a famous brand acknowledged for it's modern style, was influenced by post-modernism. The scope of research includes initial concentration on 1920's boyish style of Chanel as well as its relative influence on modernism. Secondly, the research concentrates on Chanel Collections that Lagerfeld's designs were best represented. The results were as follows: The tendency to eroticism for fashion business, tendency to retro-fashion, tendency to popularization of sub-cultural group's fashion, tendency to no-match-mix, tendency to androgynous style, tendency to emphasis on ornaments in clothing.

  • 뷰티테크시장에서 출시하는 제품 중 영상처리기술을 반영한 다양한 뷰티디바이스가 증가하는 추세이다. 특히 스마트패키징의 경우 주목할 만한 이슈로 뷰티디바이스와 연계된 사용성 및 편리성을 갖춘 애플리케이션 개발이 중요해지고 있으며 사용자가 맞춤형 피부진단 관리 방법에 대한 뷰티정보, 분석리포트, 피부케어샵, 화장품 등을 추천받을 수 있는 뷰티솔루션이 설계되어야 한다. 본 연구는 뷰티케어시장의 전문서비스 영역과 경계를 대중화하여 사용자가 맞춤형 피부진단 관리를 할 수 있는 애플리케이션 설계에 주안점을 둔다. 이를 위해 피부진단 관리 데이터 수집방법의 변수를 정의하고 사용자에게 제안, 모니터링, 뷰티 홈케어 정보, 전문서비스와의 연계방안 등 맞춤형솔루션을 제공할 수 있는 비즈니스플랫폼모델을 제안하고자 한다.

  • 인플루언서(Influencer)란 소셜 미디어에서 유난히 많은 영향력과 파급효과를 가지고 오는 사람들을 말하며, 이들이 만들어내는 콘텐츠는 이제는 자신들의 브랜딩을 넘어선 커머스(Commerce) 효과를 발휘하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 소셜 웹 그리고 공공데이터를 중심으로 뷰티 빅데이터와 방송 콘텐츠 빅데이터를 수집하고 분석하여 상호 상관성에 기반하여 화장품 관련 기업에서 CRM(Customer Relation Management), PLM(Product Lifecycle Management, SCM(Supply Chain Management System) 등의 경영정보시스템과 연계한 뷰티 분야에 최적화된 통합 경영정보시스템을 제안한다.

A Study on the Convergence Marketing of Pursuing Value and Beauty Service in Accordance with Men's Acceptance of Information about Beauty Care (남성들의 외모관리 정보수용도에 따른 추구가치와 뷰티서비스 융합마케팅 연구)

  • With much changes in men's appearance style to pursue, beauty care activities, and pursuing value, it has been required to have researches on it. This study analyzed men's acceptance of information about beauty care and also the characteristics of each pursuing value. An online survey was conducted targeting about 500 male office workers in Seoul. In the results of the study, the pursuit of the practical value of five beauty care activities was the highest while the aesthetic value was very differently shown in accordance with the types of beauty care activities, compared to two other values. Contrary to other styles, especially, the acceptance of the skin care style was influenced by the sociocultural value, practical value, and aesthetic value. Especially, the passivity of the aesthetic value and the emphasis on the practical and sociocultural values were shown. The hair care was influenced by the practical value while the plastic surgery was influenced by the aesthetic value. In the care style area, the acceptance of skin care was only influenced by the pursuit of complex values. Regarding the marketing of each care style, the large-scale marketing campaign would be effective for the hair care while it would be necessary to seek for more aesthetic campaigns for the plastic surgery business.

The Moderating Effects of the Individual Characteristics in Relationships between the Hairdressing Business Workers' Organizational Communications on Job Satisfaction (헤어미용업 종사자의 조직커뮤니케이션과 직무만족의 관계에서 개인특성의 조절효과)

  • This study attempted to determine the effects of organizational communication on job satisfaction as organizational performance for beauty salon employees as related to their personal characteristics. For empirical analysis, a questionnaire survey was conducted among beauty salon employees in Gyeongsangnam-do, and the collected data were analyzed. The results found the following: First, organizational communication had an effect on job satisfaction. In fact, compared to other factors, communication ability revealed the greatest influence on job satisfaction. In particular, the effect of organizational communication on job satisfaction was high in the following groups: 'age 40 or older', 'high school graduates or younger' and 'married'. The study results show that human resource management that comprehensively considers personal characteristics as well as organizational communication is essential in improving business performances by increasing employees' job satisfaction in the hairdressing industry.

A Study on the Designs of John Galliano (존 갈리아노(John Galliano)의 디자인 연구(硏究))

  • The purpose of this study is for consideration of John Galliano's fashion design works. Galliano, young British designer, became the chief designer of Givenchy in 1995 and of Christian Dior in 1996. Through fashion information from WWD, High Fashion, Mode et Mode, Collezioni, Vogue, Internet sites and video tapes from 1995 to 1999, his works were concerned for this study. The results are as followed; First, we can find dynamics in Galliano's works. The dynamic mood came from his study about historic costume. Second, new beauty from dismantling and reconstruction was expressed on his designs. Third, his experimental creativities were based on fashion business. Therefore Galliano's eccentricity signify the Maximalism against the Minimalism which dominated the end of 20th century. So we can find a clue to new millenium in fashion world in his designs.

  • Remembering a meaning of fashion started in the early 20C, Paul Poiret is one of the most important designer. If so, what does his achievements and assessment his costume design have to be? That is the spirit of his design. Through the creation of the new style which is totally different from a period before, introduction of the vivid color, the new line and the enthusiasm of the fashion business, he showed the roll and the possibility of the modern designer. In Poiret's women's costume, harmonious beauty of women could be discovered in beautiful color which was not used in the 19th and elegance line. Furthermore, in the creation of the color and style, he got a strong influence by the art of early 20C's Europe. This was an opportunity that todays fashion has treated as a part of the or her art, and many modern designers are contacting with the art. The excellent ability in the fashion business has the composite as total fashion. Fashion business including perfumes, cosmetics furnitures, accessories is a model for most designers who follows him.

The Qualitative Research on Managerial Failure in Small Apparel Retailers (소규모 의류소매업체의 경영실패에 관한 질적 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the causes of managerial failure in small apparel retailers by using the qualitative research method. The study was performed by interviews from thirteen owners/managers who experienced failure as small apparel retailers from November 2003 to February 2004. The causes of failure in the small apparel businesses were human related problems, marketing strategy problems, marketing mix, weak managerial ability, and business environment related problems. Of special interest was causes such as incomplete legal documents with franchisers, unexpected tax investigation from the office of National Tax Administration(NTA), sexual discrimination for women owners, and incapable risk management. It is interesting to note that tax investigation by NTA and sexual discrimination in the business custom were shown as the main causes of business failure in Korea.

  • In this study, we analyzed the growth factors and industrial role of cosmetics OEM·ODM enterprises that have played an important role in Korea's growth as the fourth-largest cosmetics exporter in the world. Since the OEM industry was first introduced to Korea by Kolmar Korea in 1990, the industry has grown to account for 12.619 trillion won as of 2016 and 69.9% of sales of local products. Also, the industry not only supported brand enterprises to enter the global market but also directly supplied products to global enterprises, contributing to economic growth and rising national prestige. Growth factors in Korea's cosmetics OEM·ODM industry can be found in the development of differentiated business models, such as continuous technology development, active response to the industrial environment, and settling a system with technology and creative ideas. For sustained growth and development of Korean cosmetics industry, OEM·ODM needs to be settled as Korea's own industry and co-exist with brand enterprises in complementary relations.

A Study on the Subjectivity of Skin Care (일반여성의 피부미용관리에 대한 주관성 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the operant factors, or types of skin care, and, more importantly, to propose the intervention for more effective skin care and marketing strategies in this business. That is the main reason that the study employes Q methodology which measures human subjectivity objectively and scientifically. This study finally revealed three distinctive factors : Type I, The Passive Follower, Type II, The Active Needs, and Type III, The Independent Judgment. The first type includes people who show passive recognition. They want to be put in charge of experts in the skin care center and to buy cosmetics recommended by experts, and are deep interest in the reaction of other people. The second type contains people who desire things actively. To live delightfully and fashionably, they think of the necessity of skin and body care as an important thing, and feel that it is necessary to take care of the skin beauty actively and regularly for the aging resistance. The third type includes people who judge independently. In general, they recognize and desire the necessity of the skin care, but they think of the skin care as a part of the health care more widely rather than a special thing. These three types are not fixed, but continuously changed in the accordance with the condition and interaction with the circumstance, the results will be utilized as basic materials for the skin and health care through the application according to the characteristic of each type they belong.
