A Study on Synchronization Control Technique of Dual-Servo Press System (듀얼 서보모터 구동형 프레스 시스템의 동기화 제어기법 연구)

  • In this paper, a synchronization control technique of dual-servo motor driven press system is proposed. An independent cascade PID control technique has been applied to the conventional press system for advancement of control stability. However, it is not easy to reduce synchronous error using the independent cascade PID control technique when some different load disturbances are involved in each motor. The eccentric error of the slide caused by the problem degrade the control performance of the BDC(Bottom Dead Center). In order to achieve reduction of the synchronous error between two servo motors and accurate position control simultaneously, a new control scheme comprised with cascade PID control loop and cross-coupling loop is proposed. In simulation using Matlab SIMULINK, the AC servo system is designed. The control performance of proposed technique is compared with conventional control technique to the model of AC servo system. Also, the sub-scale model of dual-servo motor driven press system which can replicate the slide motion is constructed for experimental verification for the performance of the proposed control technique. The cross-coupling control technique reveals more precise and stable performances in the position and synchronization controls.

Fabrication and Characterization of BixCel-xO2-x/2 Electrolytes for IT-SOFC (중온형 고체산화물 연료전지BixCel-xO2-x/2 전해질의 제조 및 특성평가)

  • [ $Bi_xCe_{l-x}O_{2-x/2}$ ](BD C : Bismuth Doped Ceria) powders with x = 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3 were synthesized using the Glycine Nitrate Process (GNP). They were then calcined at $500^{\circ}C$ for 2 hand sintered in a pellet or rod form at 900, 1000 or $1100^{\circ}C$ for 4 h for characterization as the alternative electrolyte material for intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells. The BDC powder consisted of a single phase of $CeO_2-Bi_2O_3$ solid solution in the as-synthesized state as well as in the as-calcined state with a mean powder size of 4.5nm in the former state and 6.5 - 10.1nm in the latter. On the contrary, the second phase of $\alpha-Bi_2O_3$ was observed to have been formed in the sinter with its amount increasing roughly with increasing temperature or $Bi_2O_3$ content. The BOC powder was superior in sinterability to other alternative electrolyte materials such as GDC, ScSZ, and LSGM with the minimum sintering temperature for a relative density of $95\%$ or larger as low as $1100^{\circ}C$. The ionic conductivity of BOC increased with $Bi_2O_3$ content and the maximum value of 0.119 S/cm was obtained at $800^{\circ}C$ for $Bi_{0.3}Ce_{0.7}O_{1.85}$.

  • This paper describes the design, manufacture, and testing of servos applicable to small tracking radars. First, Chapter 1 describes the necessity of this study. Chapter 2 describes the development of servos applicable to future tracking radars in small missile systems. Chapter 3 describes the design and test results for current control of brushed DC motors, brushless DC motors, and permanent magnet synchronous motors. And Chapter 4 describes the design and test results for speed control of the test wheel. And in Chapter 5, the results of the previous tests are summarized. In this paper, some pictures were intentionally blurred for security reasons, and the control result of test wheel was described, not the test with the developed gimbals.

Effect of dietary level of brewer's dried grain on growth Performance and digestibility in growing pigs (육성돈 사료내 건조 맥주박의 첨가수준에 따른 옥수수-대두박 대체급여가 생산성과 영양소 소화율에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary Hewer's dried grain supplementation on growth performance and digestibility in growing pigs. A total of forty-eight pigs (19.3 kg, average initial body weight) were used during 42 days. Dietary treatments included: 1) CON (basal diet), 2) BDG5 (basal diet + 5 % brewer's dried grain) and 3) BDC10 (basal diet + 10 % brewer's dried grain). Each treatment had 8 replicates of 2 pigs per pen in a randomized complete block design. Growth performance was not affected by treatments. However, in nutrient digestibility, DM digestibility was higher in BDG5 treatment than CON and BDG10 treatments. Nitrogen digestibility was the highest in BDG10 treatment and among another treatments, also, BDG5 treatment was higher than CON treatment. And, energy digestibility was higher in BDG10 treatment than CON treatment. In conclusion, dietary brewer's dried grain supplementation is not reduced on growth performance and improved on nutrient digestibility.
