This paper proposes a novel lossless coding scheme for Bayer color filter array (CFA) images which are generally used as internal data of color digital cameras having a single image sensor. The scheme employs a block-adaptive prediction method to exploit spatial and spectral correlations in local areas containing different color signals. In order to allow adaptive prediction suitable for the respective color signals, four kinds of linear predictors which correspond to 2 ${\times}$ 2 samples of Bayer CFA are simultaneously switched block-by-block. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme outperforms other state-of-the-art lossless coding schemes in terms of coding efficiency for Bayer CFA images.

A study on efficacy and safety of Bio-Gammamix was performed to use for the preventive drug against bacterial diseases to mirror carp(Cyprinus carpio), rainbow trout(Salmo gairdneri), eel(Anguilla japonica) and flounder(Paralichthys olivaceus). The main ingredients of Bio-Gammamix were ferrous fumarate and mixed extrated powders of licorice root, ox bile and garlic. The test drug was proved to improve feeding habit and feed efficiency and decrease cumulative mortality remarkably. After administration, no side effects and histopathological changes were observed. We can prevent outbreaks of bacterial diseases of fish by the dosage of 1kg/ton of fish body weight perorally once or two times in a day for 7 days and Bio-Gammamix is thought to be used effectively an widely against most bacterial fish pathogens.

Sizing properties in paper are generally developed through the application of both internal and surface sizes. Rosin, wax, and synthetic sizes including ASA, AKD, and stearic anhydride are and have been used to provide wet-end sizing to paper. In many cases, the use of some of these sizes leads to runnability problems that are inherent in the wet-end operation. Variability in furnish, fines, broke, filler, water chemistry, conductivity, and pH control impacts the wet-end operation. Size press chemicals including starch and polymers such as styrene-acrylic, styrene-maleic, and styrene acrylate emulsions are used in conjunction with internal sizes to improve the paper surface for printing and strength properties, porosity, and opacity improvement. This paper will discuss results from a new, proprietary formulation and process that allows application of sizing chemistry more totally at the size press with reduced emphasis on wet end sizing. Runnability issues are thus minimized at the wet-end, chemical usage is more efficient, and significant cost savings can be realized. Case histories will be presented illustrating the advantages of this new application in commercial trials.

This paper describes a demosaicking method for hexagonally-structured color filter array. Demosaicking is essential to acquire color images using color filter array (CFA) in single sensor imaging. Thus, CFA patterns have been discussed in order to improve image quality in single sensor imaging after the Bayer pattern are introduced. Advancements in imaging sensor technology recently introduce a hexagonal CFA pattern. The hexagonal CFA can be considered to be a 45-degree rotational version of the Bayer pattern, thus demosaicking can be implemented by an existing method with backward and forward 45-degree rotations. However, this approach requires heavy computing power and memory in image sensing devices because of the image rotations. To overcome this problem, we proposes a demosaicking method for a hexagonal Bayer CFA without rotations. In addition, we introduce a weighting parameter in our demosaicking method to improve image quality and to unifying exiting method with our method. Experimental results indicate that the proposed method is superior to conventional methods in terms of PSNR. In addition, some optimized values for the weighting parameter are provided experimentally.

The purpose of this paper is to propose ways to remove false color noise (FCN) generated during de-mosaicing on RGB Bayer pattern images. In case of images sensors adapting Bayer pattern color filters array (CFA), de-mosaicing is conducted to recover the RGB color data in single pixels. Here, FCN phenomena would occur where there is clearer silhouette or contrast of colors. The FCN phenomena found during de-mosaicking process appears locally in the edges inside the image and the proposed method of eliminating this is to convert RGB color space to YCbCr space to conduct smoothing process. Moreover, for edges where different colors come together, censoring based smoothing technique is proposed as a way to minimize color blurring effect.

The RGB Bayer filter system consists of mosaic R, G, and B filters on the grid of photo sensors with which typical commercial DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) cameras and CCD/CMOS cameras are taken. Many unique astronomical data taken with RGB Bayer filter systems are available, including transient objects, e.g., supernovae, variable stars, and solar system bodies. The utilization of such data in scientific research strongly requires reliable photometry transformation methods. In this work, we develop a series of formulae to derive magnitudes in the Johnson-Cousins BVR filter system from those in the RGB Bayer filter system.

본 시험은 SU계 제초제 저항성 잡초의 발생이 전국적으로 문제가 되면서 새로운 작용기작을 가지는 4-HPPD 저해제인 tefuryltrione의 SU계 제초제 저항성 논잡초에 대한 야외 포장에서의 약효와 벼에 대한 선택성을 확인하고자 수행되었다. Tefuryltrione 단제로 이앙 10~15일 후에 처리하였을 때 피에 대해서는 약효가 미흡하였으나, mefenacet과의 합제에서는 피뿐만 아니라 올챙이고랭이와 물달개비에 대해서 매우 우수한 약효를 보였다. 특히, 일년생 뿐 아니라 지하부로도 월동을 하는 다년생 올챙이고랭이에 대해서도 우수한 약효가 있는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 경기도 평택의 바이엘크롭사이언스(주) 기술연구소 시험 포장 등 3개시험 포장에서 제초제 저항성 초종인 미국외풀, 알방동사니, 마디꽃 등과 가막사리, 사마귀풀, 여뀌바늘 등에 대해서도 mefenacet+tefuryltrione 합제는 매우 우수한 약효를 보였다. 일반 벼 품종인 추청벼와 동진벼를 대상으로 시험한 결과 초기에 약간의 생육억제를 보이지만 회복되어 처리 후 20일 이후에는 별다른 문제가 없었다.

A porcine parvovirus inactivated vaccine was prepared and inoculated to 7 piglets and also 8 guinea-pigs, and their serum antibodies were titrated. Twenty-two field serum samples of unvaccinated sows were also tested by SN and HI methods. It was observed that SN test was superior over HI test. Therefore, it is suggested that the SN test could well be used in the detection of serum antibody for PPV in vaccinated pigs.

This letter proposes a new near-lossless image compression method with only one line buffer cost for a digital camera with Bayer format image. For such format data, it can provide a low average compression rate (4.24bits/pixel) with high-image quality (larger than 46.37dB where the error of every pixel is less than two). The experimental results show that the near-lossless compression method has better performance than JPEG-LS (lossless) with ${\delta}$ = 2 for a Bayer format image.
