To study the dyeability(ΔE value) and color depth of silk fabrics dyed with Impatiens balsamina extracts. its flower, leaf and stem was extracted by water. This paper investigated some experiments under the various dyeing conditions such as dyeing temperature, dyeing time, repetition of dyeing, dyeing pH with silk fabrics dyed with Impatiens balsamina extracts. The results obtained were as follows 1. It was found that $\lambda_{max}$ of silk fabrics dyed with Impatiens balsamina extract was 260nm and its flower, leaf , stem and different colored flower(white, pint violet) had same $\lambda_{max}$ at 260nm. 2. $\Delta{E}$ values were increased when dyeing temperature, repetition of dyeing and time was higher, value of munsell of silk fabrics dyed with Impatiens balsamina extract was Yellow-Red. But dyeing temperature, repetition of dyeing and time was higher, shifted to longer wavelenth side. 3. Silk fabric dyed with Impatiens balsamina extracts at acidic pH was colored reddish Yellow-Red, alkali bath colored yellowish Yellow-Red in silk fabrics dyed with Impatiens balsamina extract.
The structural development of air-water bubble plumes has been measured under different condition on air flow rate in a cylindrical bath. The time-averaged structure of plumes has been measured with an oscilloscope and an electro-conductivity probe. The temperature of bubbles was also obtained by a thermal-infrared camera. Gas volume fraction and bubble frequency were high since bubbles concentrated on the nozzle. In general, their axial and radial values tended to decrease with increasing distance. Bubble temperature reached water temperature within a short time. The present study showed that thermal equilibrium between bubbles and water was completed before bubbles flow became stable.
This study aims for the optimization of process conditions in a fixed-bed catalytic reactor system with a circulating molten salt bath, in which partial oxidation of propylene to acrolein takes place. Two-dimensional pseudo-homogeneous model is adopted with estimation of suitable parameters and its validity is corroborated by comparing simulation result with experimental data. The temperature of the molten salt and the feed composition are found to exercise significant influence on the yield of acrolein and the magnitude of hot spot. The temperature of the molten salt is usually kept constant. This study, however, suggests that the temperature of the molten salt must be axially adjusted so that the abrupt peak of hot spot should not appear near the reactor entrance. The yield of acrolein is maximized and the position and the magnitude of hot spot are optimized by the method of the iterative dynamic programming (IDP).
The purpose of this study is to develop a snow melting system using the pulsating heat pipe(PHP). The experimental apparatus is consisted of a PHP, a concrete structure, a constant water thermostatic bath and a flowmeter. The experiment was performed at the outdoor air temperature of $-8^{\circ}C$ and inlet temperature of hot water of $75^{\circ}C$. PHP is the closed and non-loop type heat exchanger which is charging R-410A as an operating fluid. As experimental results, the temperature profile of vertical and horizontal orientation of concrete structure was measured with operating time. The heat flux of the snow melting was required more than 300 $W/m^2$. We confirmed that the snow melting system using the PHP was useful for anti-freezing road.

Post-firing process of electronic ceramic, such as electroding and encapsultion with resin, often causes damage by thermal shock. The thermal shock behavior of $BaTiO_3$ ceramics was investigated by the down-quench test, where the relative strength retained is determined after the sample is quenched from an elevated temperature into a fixed temperature bath. The critical temperature drop, $\DeltaTc$, was evaluated for three kinds of sintered $BaTiO_3$ ceramics, which were formed by extrustioin, uniaxial pressing using granules, and uniaxial pressing using powders. A drastic loss in strength caused by microcracking was observed for the specimens quenched with $\DeltaT\geq150^{\circ}C$. This concentp can be adopted as a method of the quality control by monitoring the sudden drop of the strength of capacitor products after each exposure to heat.

The development of colored surface on zinc coating by the oxidation of a melten alloy of zinc with a minor amount of oxygen-avid additive such as tianium has been studied. Using a galvanizing Zinc alloy containing 0.1 to 0.3wt%Ti, gold, purple or blue color was developed clearly and stably, depending upon the extent of oxidation, by air cooling after hot dipping in a bath at temperature of $550^{\circ}C$ to $600^{\circ}C$. The source of the color is light interference with surface oxide layer. THe final color depends on the thickness of the color depends on the thickness of $TiO_2$, played So compositing, temperature and time at elevated temperature after are all controlling variables. Since oxidation film such as $TiO_2$ played role of passivation film, the corrosion resistance in a colored galvanized steel sheet. It is also thought that surface oxide layer of $TiO_2$ inhibited dissolution of the coating layer.
Polyester ultrarmcrofiber(UMF, fiber fineness : 0.05d) and the other three kinds of polyester fibers(0.52, 1.04 and 2.08d) were dyed with two disperse dyes, C.1. Disperse Red 60 and Blue 56. Dyeing rates and absorption isotherms of these dyes have been measured at 100, 115 and $130^\circ{C}$ in water system. The dye bath was maintained at pH 5.0 with acetic acid(0.1mo1/1) /sodium acetate(0.1mo1/1) buffers and a liquor ratio of 1000:1. The absorption isotherms from two disperse dyes are nearly linear up to the saturation values, which increase with the temperature of dyeing. Dye uptake decreased with the fiber fineness in lower temperature $100^\circ{C})$, whereas increased in higher temperature$(130^\circ{C})$. A comparatively greater quantity of dye is necessary to dye ultrarmcrofiber fabrics than conventional fabrics. Disperse Blue 56 having a good build-up property is agreed to Fothergill's equation, which is inversely varied with the fiber fineness by the quantity of dye necessary to obtain a given shade.
The effect of transformation temperature on microstructural features and their effects on ductility in 0.55%C steels were investigated, compared with in 0.82%C eutectoid steel. The samples were austenitized at 100$0^{\circ}C$ for 30min. followed by quenching in a salt bath in the temperature range of 500 ~ $620^{\circ}C$. It was found that reduction of area(RA) increased with increasing transformation temperature and then, decreased after reaching its maximum value in steels containing pro-eutectoid ferrite less than 6%. The thickness of lamellar cementite was found to be the main factor controlling RA. Additionally, the presence of cementite thickness for the maximum ductility in all the tested steels was observed as about 0.015${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ for tested steels.

This study aim is to provide new coloration method by laccase-catalyzation on natural phenolic dyeing process. In this study, silk was dyed with black tea, which is one of polyphenolic dye, extracted in distilled water. The dyed samples were catalyzed by laccase as the eco-friendly mordanting process. To optimize the conditions of laccase-catalyzed coloration, conditions were varied by different mordanting methods (one-bath, two-bath), temperature and treatment time. The dye affinity in terms of the value of K/S, $L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$, and H, V, C was measured by Computer Color Matching System (CCM, CM-2600d, Spectra Magic NX, Korea). The effect of laccase-catalyzed coloration on washing fastness was evaluated and compared with the synthetic mordant (Al, Cu, and Fe). As the result of color analysis of dyed silk, the optimum conditions of laccase-catalyzed coloration were determined to post-mordanting by one-bath at $50^{\circ}C$ for 3 hours. Under the optimum laccase-catalyzed conditions, the dyed silk was shown the color of yellowish-red. After laccase-catalyzed coloration on the dyed silk, the improvement of washing fastness was obtained compared with mordanted silk by synthetic mordant (Al, Cu, and Fe). Therefore, the present study was demonstrated that the effective enzymatic mordanting method by laccase for phenolic natural dyeing with vivid color and good fastness.
Background Adipose tissue damage of cryopreserved fat after autologous fat transfer is inevitable in several processes of re-transplantation. This study aims to compare and analyze the survivability of adipocytes after thawing fat cryopreserved at $-20^{\circ}C$ by using thawing methods used in clinics. Methods The survival rates of adipocytes in the following thawing groups were measured: natural thawing at $25^{\circ}C$ for 15 minutes; natural thawing at $25^{\circ}C$ for 5 minutes, followed by rapid thawing at $37^{\circ}C$ in a water bath for 5 minutes; and rapid thawing at $37^{\circ}C$ for 10 minutes in a water bath. The survival rates of adipocytes were assessed by measuring the volume of the fat layer in the top layers separated after centrifugation, counting the number of live adipocytes after staining with trypan blue, and measuring the activity of mitochondria in the adipocytes. Results In the group with rapid thawing for 10 minutes in a water bath, it was observed that the cell count of live adipocytes and the activity of the adipocyte mitochondria were significantly higher than in the other two groups (P<0.05). The volume of the fat layer separated by centrifugation was also measured to be higher, which was, however, not statistically significant. Conclusions It was shown that the survival rate of adipocytes was higher when the frozen fat tissue was thawed rapidly at $37^{\circ}C$. It can thus be concluded that if fats thawed with this method are re-transplanted, the survival rate of cryopreserved fats in transplantation will be improved, and thus, the effect of autologous fat transfer will increase.
