Cellulose was electrospun over water collector and the cellulose solution was prepared using N-methyl-morpholine N-oxide/water(nNMMO/$H_2O$). The morphology of electrospun cellulose was investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). SEM images showed that the fiber formation depended on processing parameters such as solution concentration, applied electric field strength, solution feeding rate and temperature of water in coagulation bath. High concentration, low temperature of water bath, and low feeding rate were more favorable to obtain fiber morphology. All the variables affected on the fluidity of the cellulose solution and diffusion of NMMO. Low fluidity and fast diffuision of NMMO was critical for obtaining fiber morphology.

The electroless nickel plating on high alumina ceramics was performed in the bath containing nickel chloride, sodium hypophosphite and mono- or bi-carboxylic acid as a complexing agent in order to examine the empirical rate law as well as the effects of the complexing agent, plating temperature and pH on the rate of deposition. Adding the carboxylic acid to the plating bath, the rate of deposition was increased considerably, and each of the complexing agents showed a maximum deposition rate plateau around a particular concentration of the complexing agent. The rate of deposition was increased with increasing either temperature or pH, but microstructure of the surface became more rough. Furthermore, empirical rate law of the elecltroless nickel deposition on high alumina ceramics was discussed with the activation energy and other rate parameters calculated.

Nanostructured ZnS thin films were grown on the slide glass substrate by the chemical bath deposition using an aqueous so1ution Of ZnSO$_4$and CH$_3$CSNH$_2$at 95$^{\circ}C$. The average grain sizes of the ZnS thin film estimating from the Debye-Scherrer formula are 4.8 nm. The optical transmittance edge of the ZnS thin films (4.0 eV) was shifted to the shelter wavelength compared with that of the bulk ZnS (3.67 eV) due to the quantum size effects. The ZnS thin films showed a strong photoluminescence intensity and a sharp emission band from 410 to 480 nm 3t room temperature. The PWHM of photoluminescence peak was about 40 nm. For the viloet(410 nm) and blue(480 nm) emission of the ZnS thin films, the temperature dependence can be described by an Arrhenius equation with an activation energy of 168 and 157 meV, respectively.
A study on water-based epoxy coated on mild steel using the electroplating method was conducted to optimize the process parameters for dry film thickness to achieve superior paint quality at optimal cost in an automotive plant. The regression model was used to adjust various parameters such as electrode voltage, bath temperature, processing time, non-volatile matter, and surface area to optimize the dry film thickness. The average dry film thickness computed using the model was in the range of 15 - 35 ㎛. The error in the computed dry film thickness with reference to the experimentally measured dry film thickness value was - 0.5809%, which was well within the acceptable limits of all paint shop standards. Our study showed that the dry film thickness on mild steel was more sensitive to electrode voltage and bath temperature than processing time. Further, the presence of non-volatile matter was found to have the maximum impact on dry film thickness.

We fabricates the $TiO_2$ thin film from anatase phase $TiO_2$ powder having good photocatalytic property using aerosol deposition method at room temperature. Aerosol deposition method, which sprays an aerosol powder with ultrasonic velocity and deposits a thin film on substrate at low temperature, has the advantages of low thermal stress and low cost. To fabricate the $TiO_2$ thin film, the aerosol bath pressure and chamber pressure were 500 torr and 0.4 torr, respectively. The difference of aerosol bath pressure and chamber pressure accelerated the $TiO_2$ nano powder to ultrasonic velocity through the nozzle of $0.4 mm{\times}10 mm$ and $TiO_2$ thin film was finally formed. SS mesh with diameter of 50 mm was used as a substrate to apply the $TiO_2$ thin film to water quality purification. The raw powder was dehydrated for the good dispersion of $TiO_2$ powder. To suppress the formation of second particle, the powder was dispersed for 90 min in alcohol bath by ultrasonic treatment and desiccated. The grain size of $1 {\mu}m$ was observed in $TiO_2$ thin film deposited on SUS mesh by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The anatase phase of $TiO_2$ thin film was also observed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and the anatase phase of raw powder was nicely maintained after aerosol deposition. The results are applicable to water treatment filter having photocatalytic reaction.
Emulsion polymerization of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (OMCTS) was conducted under ultrasonic irradiation. Two sources of ultrasound with different intensities and frequencies of 20 KHz and 40 KHz were used for horn and bath type reactor, respectively. A combined process of horn and bath was also investigated. The effectiveness of the reaction systems was investigated by measuring conversion as well as intrinsic viscosity of the products. The influence of reaction temperature and sonication time on the progress of sonochemical polymerization was examined. It was found that conversion of greater than 80% and high viscosity were achieved within a few minutes of sonication in a horn type reactor, however, conversion and viscosity showed maximum values depending upon the sonication time. In a bath type reactor where a relatively weak intensity was maintained, longer duration time of more than one hour of sonication was required to reach a high level of conversion and viscosity. Compared with the horn type system, the conversion and viscosity in the bath type reactor were increased along with the sonication time. When the polymerization was carried out in a combined system of horn and bath, the evolution of conversion and molecular weight was quite different from the other cases. For the given geometry of reaction system, acoustic analysis using a commercial software was carried out and the results were correlated with experimental observation.
Experiments on thermoregulatory responses to cold immersion stimulus were carried out in September, 1968 (summer studies) and February, 1969 (winter studies). Eight each of ama and control subject were selected at random from a same community in Yong-Do Island, Pusan. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1) The rate of fall in muscle temperature of forearm during a 30 min-immersion in $6^{\circ}C$ water bath was significantly slower in the ama in winter and was about the same in the two groups in summer. However, the magnitude of change in the skin temperature and the heat fluxes observed during immersion period was not significantly different either between groups or between seasons. 2) Both finger blood flow and skin temperature during one hr-immersion in $6^{\circ}C$ water bath decreased significantly in the ama as compared to the control. The magnitude of cold-induced vasodilatation during immersion period was significantly greater in the control in winter. However, the time of onset and blood flow at onset showed no significant relation between groups. 3) The magnitude of reactive hyperemia after a 5 min-arterial occlusion in both air and $15^{\circ}C$ water bath was significantly lower in the ana than in the control. In control subjects, post-occluded blood flow in water was significantly greater than in air, while in the ama it decreased to 1/2 of control values. The time required for the return of blood flow to resting values in the air was faster in the ama than in the control but was the same in water in the two groups. 4) The results suggest that vasoconstrictor tone increased in the ama in winter, indicating the development of vascular adaptation as a part of cold acclimatization.

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the shrinkage and expansion strain of ultraviolet (UV)-cured resin according to the wavelength of the light source and compare the shrinkage and expansion. Methods: We prepared the mold with according to the ISO 4049 specimen. The size of the circle in the mold was prepared with a height of 6.02 mm and a diameter of 4 mm. UV-curable resin for three-dimensional (3D) printing was injected into the circular mold. The control group was irradiated with a wavelength of 400~405 nm using UV-curing equipment (400 group), and the experimental group was irradiated with a wavelength of 460~465 nm (460 group). Both groups were produced ten specimens. The produced specimen was first measured with a digital micrometer. After the first measurement, the specimen was immersed in a constant temperature water bath for 15 days, after which the second measurement was performed, and the third measurement was taken after 30 days. The measured values were analyzed using the independent sample t-test (α=0.05). Results: In the non-immersion water tank, the contraction was 0.9% in the 400 group and 1.3% in the 460 group. In the constant temperature bath, the expansion was high at -0.4% in the 400 group for 15 days, and the smallest expansion was -0.03% for the 400 group for 30 days. There were significant differences between the two groups (p<0.05). Conclusion: The 400 group had a lower UV resin specimen strain than the 460 group. Therefore, it is recommended to use the wavelength required by the UV-curing resin.
The steel has been used in modern industry, car maker and electric appliance. The steel have some problem, specially corrosion problem. To solve corrosion problem, Zn electrodeposit on steel have been adapted. Recently, The modern industry asks to increase corrosion resistance. Naturally, Increasing corrosion resistance increases the thickness of Zn electrodeposit. But increasing thickness of Zn electrodeposit has some problems. In making part, There are some crack. This crack cause to decrease corrosion resistance. To solve this problem, it is interested in Zn Based alloy electrodeposit such as Zn-Cr. Here, the influence of the electrolytic conditions on the composition of the alloy plating in the chloride bath was investigated. The results are explained by the cathode overvoltage curve of Cr and Zn. As the current density of the cathode increases, Zn content of electrodeposit decrease and Cr content of electrodeposit increase. As the temperature of the electrolyte increases, Zn content of electrodeposit decrease and Cr content of electrodeposit increase.

The studies were carried out to develop an urban forest aromatic bath in the idle space within city area for handicapped persons, patients and city workers, who having less chance to visit the natural forest aromatic bath. The environmental conditions were checked in the experimental double vinyl house where native and exotic aromatic woody and herbaceous plants were growing with minimum energy input in the periods of mid-winter and mid-summer. The growth and photoperiodic responses of the plants to the low and high temperatures were observed during winter and summer respectively. The most of herbaceous plants in the double vinyl house with the controlled minimum night temperature of $-2^{\circ}C$ had no winter injury but did not grow and started the growth in April. The exotic herbs such as Catnip faassen's(Nepeta x faassenia) and Lemon bergamot(Monarda citriodora) grew better in the longer photoperiodic conditions. The growth rates of Abies koreana, Thuja koraiensis and Pinus sylvestriformis in the early spring were affected mainly by the night minimum temperature and less affected by the photoperiodic conditions during winter. The native aromatic herbs such as Robdosia japonica, Molsa punctulata, Agastache rugosa and Codonopsis lanceolata showed stimulatory growth at the 16 hours day-length in case of the high temperature vinyl hose. The height and root collar diameter growth of pine seedlings were inhibited in maxim temperatures over $40^{\circ}C$ during summer.
