The Purpose of this study is to serve as the basic data for the succession of traditional culture. The subjects of this study were (926) mothers and their daughters living in Taegu. The analysis of the data was done through SPSS pc+ programs. The major findings of this study are as follows: 1. Regarding to the degree of the people's participation in Traditional Customs of Four Seasons,“New Year's Day”,“Chusok(Chinese Thanks-giving Day)”,“Sangwon(The 1st Full-Moon Day)”,“boknal”are the occasions of the high participation. Ragarding to the characteristics of the groups participating, mothers' groups (compared with daughters'), the group with the positive concept about the customs(compared with the one with the negative concept), and the buddhist group(compared with other religion) are predominant. 2. Regarding to the degree of women's working lord for the Traditional Customs of Four Seasons, the significant variables on family environment in which the women are situated are family religion, The place of grown-up, Daugthers-in-laws order, and family type. Family type is found as the significant variable of Family environment in the degree of socialization of preparing effort of dishes. 3. Through factor analysis concepts of the Traditional Customs of Four Seasons are classified into 3 type, i.e.,「Conventional customs of good morals」,「Women's role in preparation for dishes」, and「The weights of the related load in women's housework」. 4. The direct factors influencing the women's housework related to Traditional Customs of Four Seasons are「Conventional customs of good morals」,「The weights of the related load in women's housework」and「The satisfaction of Traditional Customs of Four Seasons」. The indirect factor is found as 「Conventional customs of good morals」.
This study was on the investigation of how to adapt Ethnography, main research methodology in Anthropology, to "User-Centered Design Research", which is a recently focused issue in design field. Thus, this paper has highlighted concrete application processes and methods which were adapted in the case study of developing a concept for the new microwave oven. This paper mainly consists of two parts. First, the basic concept of "Ethnography" is introduced based on secondary research, and the concept of "Culture" is defined as the favorable one to design field. This part was done for constructing knowledge basis which is needed in establishing thematicaJ framework of design research. Second, the application methods of Ethnography is demonstrated through the concrete case study of developing a new microwave oven. This second part was composed of three sub-sections, which are an introduction of conducting process of ethnographic deisgn research, a description of analyzed data of kitchen culture and various particularities of usage pattem of microwave oven, and finally, a discussion of the efficiency of ethnography through generating design implications for a new microwave oven. This demonstration of case study suggests the concrete idea of how to adapt ethnography to design research and will contribute to increase more effective ethnographic design research in the future.c design research in the future.

Recently, tthe general users' demand on utilizing spatial information and the establishment of national spatial data such as land cover map are increasingly growing. But the lack of spatial information service for the general public is making it difficult for them to use spatial information and services. In this study, spatial information service strategies based on the concept of atlas, which is familiar to us through the student atlas, were proposed to promote the public users' utilization of land cover map. For this purpose, I reviewed current domestic status and overseas cases of land cover map service and proposed the future direction of spatial information service for land cover map in terms of contents, users, and system. Finally, I defined the basic concept, characteristics and functions of the Atlas Information System and recommended strategies for environmental spatial information service. The results of this study can be applied to various national spatial information as well as land cover map and contribute to the increase of general public users' utilization of national spatial data.
Objectives : To find appropriate constitutional therapy by understanding Hyeong and Gi from the perspective that "Gi is inner position, and Hyeong is outer position, and Yang converts to Gi, Eum makes Hyeong(氣裏形表, 陽化氣 陰成形)". Methods : 1. Defined Hyeong(形)and Gi(氣)and studied Wonhyeong(圓形) and Banghyeong(方形), the shapes that are formed as a result of Gi-movement. 2. Used 'Hyeong-Gi' concept to analyze physiological and pathological phenomena; classifies parts of the body into Sasang by extrapolating from WonBang concept; and studied Sasangchejil. 3. Based on the above 1 and 2, studied medical direction of Sasangchejil written in Hwangjenaegyeongsomun Tongcheon Results : 1. Wonhyeong is the result of Yang(陽) movement, whereas Banghyeong is the result of Eum (陰) movement. 2. Hyeong(body) can be classified into Won(圓, circle) and Bang(方, square) or more specifically into Won of Won, Bang of Won, Won of Bang, Bang of Bang. Each corresponds to Taeyang(太陽), Soyang(少陽), Taeeum(太陰), and Soeum(少陰). 3. The constitutional therapy can be formulated by refering to "Tongcheon(通天)" and by taking into consideration that each Sasang constitution has a bias toward Mok(木), Hwa(火,) Gum(金), Su(水). Conclusions : Basic treatment for round shaped people needs to be focused on a cure of Boeum(補陰) and Bojeong(補精), whereas for angular shaped people, treatment should be about Bogi(補氣) and Boyang(補陽). Treatment for Taeyangin(太陽人) should be about strengthening Ganeum(肝陰) and reducing Paeyang(肺陽) and for Soyangin(少陽人), the treatment needs to be strengthening Sineum(腎陰) and diminish Biyang(脾陽). Taeeumin(太陰人) should receive a cure that reinforces Pyeyang(肺陽) and brings Ganeum(肝陰) down, whereas Soeumin(少陰人) should have a cure that strengthens Gi and increases Yang.

The purpose of this study is to define the concept of media information literacy and to develop educational content. To achieve the purpose of the study, literature analysis, interviews with field experts, and surveys with teacher librarians were conducted. The field experts recognized the media as a tool to use information and recognized information problem-solving skills, reading comprehension ability, media functions, case activities, and affective domain as the areas of media information literacy education. The teacher-librarians thought that information and media literacy which include its competency and educational content are more important than the digital literacy. As a result of the study, the concept of media information literacy was defined as knowledge, skills, and attitudes including the concepts of literacy, media literacy, information literacy, and digital literacy. In addition, educational contents of media information literacy were developed so that 'participation in democratic society', 'classification of media tools and contents', 'basic human rights', 'skills', 'digital tool manipulation' and 'information problem solving process' can be combined and applied in context.

The goals of nursing education, and the bases for evaluating them depend on the goals of nursing practice. In order to prepare for the coming twenty first century and the meet changing societal demands and health needs, it is necessary to develop a new conceptual framework for future nursing education. While hospitals will still be in significant components of the health care system, will no longer be central focus or dominant influence. Health care services will be more usually delivered at community base. The nursing education required by that new approach must provide for reconsidered about a concept of caring as nursing curriculum. The changes in health care delivery that have occured, now being proposed, for nursing education undergoing its own changes. So the philosophy and objectives of education meed to reconsidering about the caring concept and general nursing. Nurse educators must prepare students to practic in condition of constant change. At the same time nurse educators must emphasize preparation about that. The practice of science of caring in nursing draws on a basic knowledge of the behavioral knowledge, biophysical processes, pathological processes, nursing skills and procedures and various treatment regimes and problem solving to help decision making in nursing situations. The concept of care is probably one of the least understood ideas used by professional and nonprofessional people, yet it is probably one of the most improtant concepts to be understood by nursing. Human caring and human relationships are closely interrelated. Humn caring remains an essential dimension of professional work and the science of caring as essental to the discipline of nursing. It is expected that the objectives of nursing education will be accomplished when the course and content of the curriculum are based on this conceptual framework. One recurrent education goal with some consistency is that of equipping the student with the necessary skills to live effectively and productivly in the world of tomorrow. In the new vision we are developing, professional education must also include exposure to liberal arts, encouragement of critical thinking, and a moral context for advanced professional education that is based upon a contextual health policy and caring science educational model.
This study was for understanding about the current situation of internal nursing research related to empowerment and for suggesting the direction the research on empowerment should improve. 17 nursing research articles between 1991 and 2001 were analyzed and their analysis results showed that the research on empowerment tends increasing in number. Looking at study methods, survery and research had a majority of researchs and the target of research was mainly nurses. Empowerment concept is a process that it helps to be able to assert the control about factors which influence on human life. This process suggested the precondition and result on empowerment in view of nursing that it includes broader systematic, structural and social responsibility in making individual taking responsibility on his health in management. Empowerment is to enhance the power and its basic starts from his own empowerment. The contents of his own empowerment is to improve his own ability(including spiritual, physical, and social ability), to connote also his own confidence enhancement which looks at himself as positive and strong, and to run after the his internal repletion through strengthening of his positive aspect. Based on above his own empowerment, the empowerment that builds the capability of group or organization is eventually to strengthen the spirit of individual and organization. Finally, this concept means that it can have an usefulness about nursing practice, education, administration and research. With the foundation of this research analysis, although the research on empowerment is largely limited to nurse, in future this should be applied to various nursing targets. In addition, the research on diverse applying methods including program develoment which bases on this concept should be made.

Targeting a rooftop biotope created in urban area, this study aims at verifying a creation technique reflecting an urban biosphere reserve concept as well as its function as the habitats of various wild animals. To this end, a set of processes of a biosphere reserve-based basic conception and master plan, sectoral plans, construction and monitoring were applied to the rooftop of 12-story UNESCO Building in Seoul. In particular, the rooftop habitats were divided into core area, buffer zone and transition area, and habitats and facilities suitable to the characteristics of each space were planned. By aligning a plantation planning map with environmental conditions such as topography and water, creation of diverse habitats was enabled. As a result, a set of various habitats including wetlands, wild grassland, shrubs, forest trees and vegetable fields was created at the site. Species living in these habitats included 148 plant species, 62 insect species, 2 amphibian species, 3 fishery species and 3 bird species. The rooftop eco-park of UNESCO Building, which was created one year ago, is assessed as an important space for conservation of biodiversity as well as a place where a biosphere reserve concept was well applied. Meanwhile, for this rooftop biotope to be a pioneer of urban biosphere reserve-based types, a number of principles & methodologies suggested in this study need to be applied, In a perspective of landscape ecology, maintenance efforts should be linked with green areas in neighboring areas, which are the sources of species, In addition, considering that the rooftop biotope is a restored ecosystem, theories and approaches from restoration ecology should be applied. On-going monitoring on environmental changes is also required as the site is located in the urban center, Ultimately, rooftop biotopes including the case study area should contribute in promoting the socio-economic, cultural, and spiritual sustainability as well as environmental sustainability of a city.
The purpose of this paper is to examine the concept of computational thinking in an easy-to-understand way for non-computer majors. First, It is necessary to expand from the problem-solving perspective to the perspective of problem discovery and creation ability, and establish it as a thinking ability that can cultivate human-like thinking, that is, creative thinking. Second, the concept of computational thinking can be viewed not only in the cognitive aspect but also in the emotional motive and attitude aspect. Third, systematic design of teaching methods is needed based on the expansion of the concept to computational thinking that helps learners to improve their reflective ability. It is expected that the results of this study will serve as basic research for various attempts in terms of the purpose and teaching method of computational thinking education in the future.
At present, in the field of design research, the systematic research on Without Thought design is still insufficient, and it is used in conjunction with the concept of Affordance. Therefore, based on Naoto Fukasawa's design ideas of 'Without Thought' and related unconscious theory, this study will define the concept of 'Without Thought design'. Briefly, Without Thought design is to enable users to complete the unconscious interaction with objects and give users a feeling of "just right". Besides, by reviewing Naoto Fukasawa's works, papers, speeches and related literature, this study derives five Without Thought design principles: continuity of behavior, clarity of semantics, commonality of cognition, design for living situations and design for natural needs. Then, the content this study could be an origin that be helpful to define the concept of Without Thought in a more systematic way, looking forward to serving as the basic data for the process development of Without Thought design.
