  • The basic concept of this control scheme is that of an ideal massless manipulator carrying a load. The purpose of this paper is to converge the observed forces and moments at the mass center to the desired applied forces and moments. And the corresponding control algorithm is proposed.

  • The maxillofacial soft tissue trauma is one of the major causes to visit the emergency room. For the past few decades, however, the basic concept of the repairing the soft tissue wound have not been changed. Therefore, it could be worthwhile to remind the fundamental concepts and practical information belong to the soft tissue injury management. Among the many types of soft tissue trauma, laceration wound which is most frequently met in the clinic will be discussed in this review.

  • This paper presents the continuation power flow system that is under development. The continuation power flow system provides robust solutions of power flow equations at any operating point. The robust convergency enables one to find solutions even at the point where power flow jacobian becomes singular. Basic concept of an algorithm and its application to static voltage stability analysis are presented.

  • In design stage of a plastic injection mold, basic entities of various kinds are introduced under the concept of Group Technology to produce a full drawings of the mold more effectively Most of the entity data should be extracted from the assembly drawing by pattern matching technique. An automated design system is developed using the extracted data of entities and thus shows a good interfaces between the design stage and producing part explosion without any manual conversion procedure under the AutoCAD environment.

  • Bipolar membranes have gained increasing interest as a tool for an efficient production of acids and bases from the corresponding salts. A large number of potential applications have been identified in the chemical and biochemical industry have been identified and evaluated on a laboratory scale. In spite of extensive research efforts and laboratory and pilot plat test, there are hardly any large-scale commercial plants. In this paper the basic concept of the electrodialytic water dissociation with bipolar membranes are briefly reviewed. The limitations of today\`s bipolar membranes are indicated. Selected examples of successful applications of the bipolar membrane technology are discussed.

  • In this paper, we propose an algorithm of obstacle avoidance using fuzzy inferences. After the basic idea of the path generation algorithm using piecewise polynomials is described, the obstacle avoidance problem using fuzzy inferences is considered. Main concept of the avoidance algorithm is to modify intermittent point data using fuzzy inferences and to generate the collision free path based on the modified data. Finally, simulation result demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
