방음터널 단면형상에 따른 소음저감 특성 평가 - 터널 내부소음을 중심으로 - (Evaluation on the Characteristics of Noise Reduction according to the Tunnel Section Shape)

  • It seems inevitable for residential buildings to be high-rise and allocated near traffic roads due to the overcrowding in urban area. Acoustic environment in those area has been seriously deteriorated by the increase of traffic vehicles. Commonly used sound barriers have a limitation in controlling noise due to diffraction noise of sound barrier. Hence sound barrier is not effective to attenuate noise especially for the residential units in high level. This work aims at evaluating noise reduction according to the tunnel section shape by using 1/5 scale model. We carried out a number of field measurements for 1/5 scale model of Noise Barrier Tunnel with various sectional shape. The results from predictions and the measurement show generally good agreement.

  • The P/E characteristics of $HfO_2$ CTF memory capacitor with $SiO_2/HfO_2/Al_2O_3$(OHA) engineered tunnel barrier were investigated. After a growth of thermal oxide with a thickness of 2 nm, 1 nm $HfO_2$ and 3 $Al_2O_3$ layers were deposited by atomic layer deposition (ALD) system. The band offset was calculated by analysis of conduction mechanisms through Fowler-Nordheim (FN) plot and Direct Tunneling (DT) plot. Moreover the PIE characteristics of $HfO_2$ CTF memory capacitor with OHA tunnel barrier was presented.

  • NAND형 charge trap flash (CTF) non-volatile memory (NVM) 소자가 30nm node 이하로 고집적화 되면서, 기존의 SONOS형 CTF NVM의 tunnel barrier로 쓰이는 SiO2는 direct tunneling과 stress induced leakage current (SILC)등의 효과로 인해 data retention의 감소 등 물리적인 한계에 이르렀다. 이에 따라 개선된 retention과 빠른 쓰기/지우기 속도를 만족시키기 위해서 tunnel barrier engineering (TBE)가 제안되었다. TBE NVM은 tunnel layer의 전위장벽을 엔지니어드함으로써 낮은 전압에서 전계의 민감도를 향상 시켜 동일한 두께의 단일 SiO2 터널베리어 보다 빠른 쓰기/지우기 속도를 확보할 수 있다. 또한 최근에 각광받는 high-k 물질을 TBE NVM에 적용시키는 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 본 연구에서는 Si3N4와 HfAlO (HfO2 : Al2O3 = 1:3)을 적층시켜 staggered의 새로운 구조의 tunnel barrier Capacitor를 제작하여 전기적 특성을 후속 열처리 온도와 방법에 따라 평가하였다. 실험은 n-type Si (100) wafer를 RCA 클리닝 실시한 후 Low pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD)를 이용하여 Si3N4 3 nm 증착 후, Atomic layer deposition (ALD)를 이용하여 HfAlO를 3 nm 증착하였다. 게이트 전극은 e-beam evaporation을 이용하여 Al를 150 nm 증착하였다. 후속 열처리는 수소가 2% 함유된 질소 분위기에서 $300^{\circ}C$$450^{\circ}C$에서 Forming gas annealing (FGA) 실시하였고 질소 분위기에서 $600^{\circ}C{\sim}1000^{\circ}C$까지 Rapid thermal annealing (RTA)을 각각 실시하였다. 전기적 특성 분석은 후속 열처리 공정의 온도와 열처리 방법에 따라 Current-voltage와 Capacitance-voltage 특성을 조사하였다.

축소모형을 이용한 방음터널의 자연채광 성능평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of the Daylighting Performance in the Sound Barrier Tunnel)

  • This study aims to evaluate the natural lighting performance in the sound barrier tunnel. Therefore, to evaluate the daylighting performance, the combinations of 3 tunnel roof types which are flat-roof-type(type A), slope-roof-type(type B), arch-roof-type(type C) and 3 window types which are side-window-type(type 1), one-window-roof type(type 2), two-window-roof type(type 3) are evaluated by experimenting small scaled models. In this 9 cases of experiment, illuminance levels of each case are analyzed and evaluated. The conclusion of this study is that slope-roof-type(B) and arch-roof-type(C) is preferable to flat-roof-type(A) and one-window-roof-type(B) and two-window-roof-type(C) is preferable to side-window-type(A) for daylighting in the sound barrier tunnel.

Design criteria of wind barriers for traffic -Part 1: wind barrier performance

  • This study investigates the design criteria required for wind barriers to protect vehicles running on an expressway under a high side wind. At the first stage of this study, the lateral deviations of vehicles in crosswinds were computed from the commercial software, CarSim and TruckSim, and the critical wind speeds for a car accident were then evaluated from a predefined car accident index. The critical wind speeds for driving stability were found to be 35 m/s for a small passenger car, yet 30 m/s for a truck and a bus. From the wind tunnel tests, the minimum height of a wind barrier required to reduce the wind speed by 50% was found to be 12.5% of the road width. In the case of parallel bridges, the placement of two edge wind barriers plus one wind barrier at center was recommended for a separation distance larger than 20 m (four lanes) and 10 m (six lanes) respectively, otherwise two wind barriers were recommended.

Wind tunnel tests on flow fields of full-scale railway wind barriers

  • The present study provides a deeper understanding of the flow fields of a full-scale railway wind barriers by means of a wind tunnel test. First, the drag forces of the three wind barriers were measured using a force sensor, and the drag force coefficients were compared with a similar scale model. On this basis, the mean wind velocity and turbulence upwind and downwind of the wind barriers were measured. The effects of pore size and opening forms of the wind barrier were discussed. The results show that the test of the scaled wind barrier model may be unsafe, and it is suitable to adopt the full-scale wind barrier model. The pore size and the opening forms of wind barriers have a slight influence on the flow fields upwind of the wind barrier but have some influences on the flow fields and power spectra downwind of the wind barrier. The smaller pore size generates a lower turbulence density and value of the power spectrum near the wind barrier, and the porous wind barriers clearly provide better shelter than the bar-type wind barriers.

방음터널의 길이와 단부처리에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Edge Treatment and the Length of Noise Barrier Tunnel)

  • Numbers of people living in high rise apartments are growing due to the overcrowding in urban area. Acoustic environment in those residential buildings has been seriously deteriorated by the increase of wheeled transports. Commonly used sound barriers have a limitation in controlling noise influencing higher part of a residential building. The use of noise barrier tunnels can be an alternative to supplement the defects of conventional noise barriers. But intensive measurements on noise levels at apartments vicinity of current noise barrier tunnels show that the tunnel now has a limited advantage on reducing the noise levels from arterial roads. The present work aims at providing an useful design tool In designing noise barrier tunnels for residential areas adjacent to roads. Number of field measurements, scale model measurements, and computer simulations were performed to ensure whether the prediction from scale model and computer simulation are appropriate. Result shows that the predictions from scale models and computer simulations could be valid prediction tools for designing sound barrier tunnels.

알루미늄 산화물 절연막에 하프늄의 첨가가 자기터널접합의 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Insertion of Hf layer in Al oxide tunnel barrier on the properties of magnetic tunnel junctions)

  • 알루미늄 산화물 절연막에 하프늄의 첨가가 미치는 영향에 관해서 연구하였다. 하프늄을 첨가할 경우 자기저항이 증가하고 자기저항의 온도의존도와 바이어스 전압의존도가 감소함을 관찰하였다. 이는 하프늄의 첨가가 알루미늄 산화물의 결함의 감소를 유발하기 때문이라 판단된다. 하프늄의 첨가된 알루미늄 산화물의 미세구조를 분석한 결과 하프늄이 알루미늄과 혼합됨이 관찰 되었다. 알루미늄과 하프늄의 혼합 금속을 절연막 형성을 위한 금속으로 사용한 결과 하프늄의 첨가된 알루미늄과 동일한 결과를 얻었다. 이로부터 하프늄이 알루미늄과 혼합하면서 절연막 내의 결함을 감소시키고 그에 따른 자기저항의 증가와 자기저항의 온도의존도와 바이어스 전압의존도를 감소시키는 결과를 가져온 것으로 판단된다.

중규모 도로터널의 제연경계벽 설치에 따른 연기확산특성 (Study of the Characteristics of Smoke Spread by an Installing Smoke Barrier in Medium Length Road Tunnel)

  • 중규모 도로터널의 경우 제연설비 설치가 의무화 되어있지 않기 때문에 화재가 발생할 경우 이용객들이 많은 피해를 입을 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 연장 1,000 m 2차로 일방통행방식의 도로터널을 대상으로 3차원 수치해석, 정량적 위험도 평가를 통해 제연경계벽이 설치되지 않을 때와 설치간격이 100, 150, 200, 250 m일 때 화재에 의하여 발생되는 연기류 등이 시간에 따른 확산을 분석하였다. 그 결과 중규모 도로터널에 제연경계벽을 설치할 경우 설치하지 않은 경우보다 화재로부터 발생되는 고온의 공기와 독성가스의 확산이 지연되는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 수치해석 대상 중에서 제연경계벽의 설치간격이 100 m인 경우 화재로 인해 발생된 고온의 공기와 독성가스의 확산이 다른 경우보다 많이 지연되어 터널 이용객이 피난하는데 가장 적합한 것으로 나타났다.

  • The tunnel barrier engineered charge trap flash (TBE-CTF) non-volatile memory using CRESTED tunneling barrier was fabricated by stacking thin $Si_3N_4$ and $SiO_2$ dielectric layers. Moreover, high-k based $HfO_2$ charge trap layer and $Al_2O_3$ blocking layer were used for further improvement of the NVM (non-volatile memory) performances. The programming/erasing speed, endurance and data retention of TBE-CTF memory was evaluated.
