내진 보강용 철근 사용 시 비용 절감 효과 분석을 위한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study for Cost Saving Effect Analysis When Using Seismic Reinforcing Bar)

  • 철근콘크리트 구조물의 대형화, 고층화로 인해 고기능 재료의 적용이 요구되고 있다. 하지만 고장력 철근은 국내에 도입된 지 얼마되지 않고, 고장력 철근의 사용 시 철근 물량의 주상 복합 정량적으로 판단하기 위한 자료가 부족하다. 이에 본 연구는 건축 프로젝트 계획 과정에서 고장력 철근 적용 시 비용 측면의 의사 결정에서 활용할 수 있는 데이터를 제공하기 위하여, 주상 복합 건축물을 대상으로 일반 철근만 사용한 경우, 고장력 철근만을 사용한 경우, 일반 철근과 고장력 철근을 혼용한 경우 등 6가지 조건을 설정하고, 철근의 직경에 관계없이 SD400 철근만을 적용한 연구모델 1을 기준으로, 다른 연구모델의 주상 복합 주상 복합 및 공사비 변화를 분석한 결과, 연구모델 I의 주상 복합과 공사비 100%로 하였을 때, 연구모델 II는 각각 88.3%와 90.5%, 연구모델 III는 각각 80.2%와 83.4%, 연구모델 IV는 각각 91.9%와 93.5%, 연구모델 V는 각각 88.9%와 87.7%, 연구모델 VI는 각각 82.4%와 85.5%의 값을 보였다. 따라서 주상 복합과 공사비의 모두 SD600을 적용한 연구모델 III가 가장 우수한 것으로 평가되었다.

  • The basic technology of virtual reality can be described as the cognition of the condition change in virtual world by stimulating the visual, auditory, kinesthetic and tactile sensation. Among these, the kinesthetic and tactile sensation is one of the most important things to recognize the interaction. In this paper, it is addressed the haptic device which help the human feel the sense of the operator, and is designed in modular type to expand for five fingers later. the haptic device is driven by tendon and ultrasonic motors located in the wrist part. Each joint is actuated by coupled tendons and adopts more actrator by one than the number of the joints, called 'N+1 type'. The haptic device adopts metamorphic 4-bar linkage structure and the length of linkages, shape and the location of joint displacement sensor are optimized through the analysis.

  • Three types of salt resistant concrete beams reinforced with glass fiber reinforced polymer-ribbed bars (GFRP-ribbed bars) were selected, and their applicable properties were investigated with the goal of improving the problem of capacity deterioration in marine structures due to sea water corrosion. In this study, the structural behaviors were similar to RC beams in relation to the development of the strength and stiffness up to the generation of the initial crack. After the growth of this initial crack, the structural properties decreased owing to a sudden loss of bond strength. Also these beams showed the trends of brittle failure. As a result, it was confirmed that a GFS beam replaced with Fly Ash (20%) and Silica Fume (5%) has the best application as a marine structural element.

  • This paper describes the need for a ductile Fiber Reinforced Plastic(FRP) reinforcement for concrete structures. Using the material hybrid and geometric hybrid, it is demonstrated that the pseudo-ductility characteristic can be generated in FRP rebar. Ductile hybrid FRP bars were successfully fabricated at 4mm and l0mm nominal diameters using an hand lay up method. Tensile specimens from these bars were tested and compared with behavior of FRP rebar and steel bar

  • If the mechanical development be applied to the Nuclear Power Plant Structures instead of the standard hook development, the problem of overcrowding re-bars in the anchorage zone can be solved and the construction quality of the concrete work will be improved. But there are some problems in applying it to the NPP structures because of the restriction on the re-bar yield strength and diameter. After the performance evaluation test for the mechanical development, we can develop the new design equation of the mechanical development length in order to solve the limitation and apply it to NPP structures.

  • Thermally induced vibration response of solar array is investigated. The solar array model consists of composite thin walled beam and solar blanket, spreader bar. The composite thin walled beam incorporates a number of nonclassical effects of transverse shear, primary and secondary warping, rotary inertia and anisotropy of constituent materials. The solar blanket is a membrane subjected to uniform tension in the z direction. The spreader bar is a rigid member. A coupled thermal structure analysis that includes the effects of structural deformations on heating and temperature gradient is investigated. A stability criterion given in parameters for establishes the conditions for thermal flutter.

  • This study was performed to evaluate reinforced concrete durability in chloride attack environment under sustained load by the corrosion of reinforcing bars and the permeation of chloride ion. Generally, it is regarded that permeability of chloride ion is determined by the properties of concrete, but the effects of load which make alternation of concrete inner structure such as crack and so on should not neglected. In this study, it is shown that the relation between bending load on RC beam, deflection and crack of specimen, permeation of chloride ion, rating of re-bar corrosion, and the relation between compression load and permeation of chloride ion. Therefore the effects of load on permeation of chloride ion and re-bar corrosion are evaluated.

  • A garter spring, which is a long, special, close-coiled extension spring with its ends joined to form a ring, is used in tulip contactor between vacuum circuit breaker and bus bar in switchgear. To carry short-time current and resist welding at the contact surface in the tulip contactor, the garter spring must transmits an uniform contact force to the contact surface through the contact chips arranged in the circumference of bus bar. In this paper, the system for measurement of the contact force by the garter spring is developed. Using the developed measurement system, the design of the connection structure including the garter spring is reviewed to obtain the uniform contact forces in all of contact chips.

  • A specific experimental method, the Split Hopkinson pressure bar (SHPB) technique has been widely used to determine the dynamic material properties under the impact compressive loading conditions with strain rate of the order of 10$^3$/s∼l0$^4$/s. In this paper, dynamic deformation behaviors of rubber materials widely used for the isolation of vibration from structure under varying dynamic loading are determined by using plastic SHPB technique. A transition point to scope with the dynamic deformation behavior of rubber-like material is defined in this paper and used to characterize the specifics of the dynamic deformation of rubber materials.

  • Nanopositioning technologies play an important role in the progress of electronics, optics, bio-engineering and various nano-scale technologies. As a result, various practical nanopositioning methods have been successfully introduced. Flexure mechanism is a valuable method in nanopositioning because of smooth and friction-free motion and the infinitesimal movement near to sub-nm. In this study a modularized nanopositioner based on parallelogram four-bar linkage structure with right-circular flexure hinge was developed. The positioning performance of a single axis nanopositioner and a XY nanopositioner which was extended from single axis one were demonstrated using control experiments. Consequently, it was shown that the developed single axis nanopositioner possessed high performance and could be extended to various multi-axis nanopositioners.
