Mobile RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) 용 안테나 계 (Design of mobile Radio Frequency Identification (m-RFID) antenna)

  • 본 논문에서는 휴대용 단말기 적용이 가능한 mobile Radio Frequency Identification (m-RFID) system 을 위한 안테나의 설계 방법을 제안했다. 전기계 안테나와 자기계 안테나의 결합을 통하여 안테나의 휴대 단말 장착시 m-RFID 적용 방향으로 안테나의 패턴이 지향성의 특징을 나타낸다. 전기계 안테나는 PIFA 구조의 안테나를 사용하였으며, 자기계 안테나는 loop 형 안테나를 구현하였다. 목표 주파수 대역은 900 MHz 대역이며, 목표 이득은 4dBi 이상으로 설계 되었다. Ansoft 사의 HFSS 를 사용하여 시뮬레이션하였으며, 목표치 이상의 결과를 보였다. 제작된 안테나는 FR4 epoxy 기판 (h=1 mm, $\varepsilon_{\tau}=4.4$) 을 사용하여 제작되었으며, 시뮬레이션과 유사한 결과를 보였다.

치매환자복의 실태와 문제점 및 디자인 선호도 분석 (The Actual Conditions, Problems and Design Preferences of Dementia Inpatient Clothing)

  • This research explored the actual conditions, problems and design preferences of dementia inpatient clothing. Data were collected by surveying 21 dementia hospitals and nursing care facilities and 87 caregivers and nurses of dementia hospitals. The collected data were analysed through frequency analysis, descriptive analysis and factor analysis. The results were as follows, First, the inpatient clothes of dementia hospitals were two-piece styles, the shirts of front opening with buttons and pants of no opening with elastic band. Those of dementia care facilities were two piece styles of shirts and pants, training suits or private plain clothes not uniform. Severe dementia inpatient dressed uniforms of the jump suits or two piece styles in some dementia care facilities. Second, the problems of dementia inpatient clothing were composed of suitability of raw and subsidiary clothing material, diversity of design and size, durability and form stability of clothes and elastic bands. Third, the design elements similar to those of existing inpatient clothing were preferred with regard to improving dementia inpatient clothing. That is, the design preferences of shirts showed front opening style with buttons, round neckline and a three-quarter-length sleeves. Those of pants came out no opening style with elastic band and full length. Also, pink color and natural patterns were preferred, and the private plain clothing of inpatient and fusion Han-bok style were somewhat preferred.

Self-positioning fusion system based on estimation of relative coordinates

  • Recently, indoor navigation has been applied in large convention centers by using wireless sensor networks (WSNs), which provide not only a user's path to be traveled but also orientation and shopping information to increase user's convenience. This paper presents the localization system for estimating relative coordinates without pre-deployment of the reference node based on ultra wide band (UWB) ranging system, which is relatively suitable for indoor localization compared to other wireless communications, and azimuth sensor. The proposed localization system which consists of an azimuth sensor and a mobile node composed of three nodes estimates relative coordinates of the reference node without applying any recursive and time consumption algorithms. Also, in the process of estimating relative coordinates of the reference node, ranging errors are minimized through the proposed technique and the number of nodes can be reduced. Experimental results show the feasibility and validity of the proposed system.

라이다와 광학영상을 이용한 토지피복분류 (Land Cover Classification Using Lidar and Optical Image)

  • 라이다 데이터는 데이터 취득시간과 처리시간이 짧으며 높은 점밀도와 정확도를 가지고 있다. 그러나 광학영상과는 달리 3차원 형태의 비정규 점군의 형태이기 때문에 지표면에 대한 정확한 분류가 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 라이다 데이터와 광학영상을 동시에 이용해서 감독분류 기법을 통해 토지피복분류를 수행하였다. 먼저 라이다 데이터로부터 격자 크기가 1m인 DSM 영상과 DEM 영상을 제작하고 이를 이용하여 nDSM 영상을 제작하였다. 또한 라이다 데이터의 인텐서티(intensity) 정보를 이용해서 인텐서티 영상을 제작하였다. 광학영상의 입력데이터는 CCD 영상의 적색, 청색, 녹색 파장영역과 IKONOS 영상의 근적외선 파장영역이다. 그리고 CCD 영상의 적생광 파장영역을 이용해서 제작한 식생지수 영상이다. 광학영상과 라이다 데이터를 동시에 이용해서 토지피복 분류를 수행한 결과 74%의 분류 정확도를 얻을 수 있었다. 추가적으로 그림자 지역의 재분류, 수계지역의 처리 그리고 숲과 건물의 오분류 수정 과정을 수행하여 최종적으로 81.8%의 분류 정확도를 얻을 수 있었다.

RF Reactive Sputtering법에 의한 산화주석 박막의 제조 및 특성 (Characterization and Fabrication of Tin Oxide Thin Film by RF Reactive Sputtering)

  • Tin oxide thin films were prepared on borosilicate glass by rf reactive sputtering at different deposition powers, process pressures and substrate temperatures. The ratio of oxygen/argon gas flow was fixed as 10 sccm / 60 sccm in this study. The structural, electrical and optical properties were examined by the design of experiment to evaluate the optimized processing conditions. The Taguchi method was used in this study. The films were characterized by X-ray diffraction, UV-Vis spectrometer, Hall effect measurements and atomic force microscope. Tin oxide thin films exhibited three types of crystal structures, namely, amorphous, SnO and $SnO_2$. In the case of amorphous thin films the optical band gap was widely spread from 2.30 to 3.36 eV and showed n-type conductivity. While the SnO thin films had an optical band gap of 2.24-2.49 eV and revealed p-type conductivity, the $SnO_2$ thin films showed an optical band gap of 3.33-3.63 eV and n-type conductivity. Among the three process parameters, the plasma power had the most impact on changing the structural, electrical and optical properties of the tin oxide thin films. It was also found that the grain size of the tin oxide thin films was dependent on the substrate temperature. However, the substrate temperature has very little effect on electrical and optical properties.

영상합성을 통한 KOMPSAT-1 EOC의 분류정확도 및 환경정보 추출능력 향상 (Enhancement of Classification Accuracy and Environmental Information Extraction Ability for KOMPSAT-1 EOC using Image Fusion)

  • 원격탐사 응용분야 중 토지피복 분류를 통한 지구환경의 원격탐지기법은 환경 관리, 도시계획 및 지리정보시스템의 응용분야에 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 접근방식이다. 본 연구는 다목적 실용위성(Korea Multi-Purpose Satellite : KOMPSAT)의 전자광학카메라(electro-optical camera : EOC)를 통해 취득한 영상의 토지피복 정보를 추출하는 방안을 제시하였다. 사용영상은 다중 분광정보를 보유하고 있는 공간해상도 30m의 Landsat TM과 6.6m의 공간해상도와 단일밴드로 구성되어 있는 KOMPSAT EOC영상이며, 연구 대상지역은 청주시 미호천 수계이다. 영상합성은 IHS(intensity hue saturation), HPF(high pass filtering), CN(color normalization), 그리고 Wavelet 변환방식을 적용하여 결과를 비교하였다. 합성된 영상은 RBF-NN(radial basis function neural network)과 ANN(artificial neural network)법을 이용하여 피복분류를 실시하였으며, 이상의 과정을 통해 최적 결과를 도출하는 영상합성 및 분류기법을 제시하였다.

  • The objective of research is to clarify the interaction between dislocations and precipitates during high temperature creep deformation behaviors of high n austenitic steels. After measuring the internal stress in minimum creep rate state under applied stress of 236MPa at 873K, a transmission electron microscope (TEM) observation was performed to investigate the interaction between dislocations and precipitates during high temperature creep deformation. The band widths and values of internal stress increased when the nitride precipitates distribute more densely. Fine nitrides disturbed the dislocation movement with pinning the dislocations and perfect dislocations were separated into Shockley partial dislocations by fine nitrides. Coarse nitrides disturbed the dislocation movement with climb mechanism.

  • This article presents a review of technologies for an endoscope. The classification according to the clinical applications and the imaging modalities are summarized. The major parts are focused on describing the gastrointestinal endoscope's structures and mechanisms. The details of the image enhanced endoscopic techniques, such as NBI (narrow band imaging), OCT (optical coherence tomography), and EUS (endoscopic ultrasound), are also explained. Finally, the trend of NOTES (natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery) which is new fusion technology in the field of endoscopic diagnosis and surgery is introduced.

후천성 비인두 협착증 1례 (A Case of Acquired Nasopharyngeal Stenosis)

  • Nasopharyngeal stenosis is an obliteration of the normal communication between the nasopharynx and the oropharynx resulting from the fusion of the tonsillar pillars and soft palate to the posterior pharyngeal wall. It is a rare but serious problem. The most common etiology is currently the surgical trauma associated with uvulopalatopharyngoplasty or adenotonsillectomy. It can range in severity from a thin band to a complete obstructing cicatrix, Symptoms vary from mild hyponasal speech to almost complete nasal obstruction with oral breathing, We present a case of a 16 year-old male with nasopharyngeal stenosis after radiofrequency-assisted adenoidectomy in this paper. This patient was managed by synechiolysis, obturator and buccal mucosal graft.
