레이디얼 피스톤 펌프의 피스톤 접촉 메커니즘 개발 (Development of piston contact mechanism for radial piston pump)

  • This paper presents the experimental results of the radial piston type oil pump with new mechanism for a metal diaphragm hydrogen compressor. Generally, metal diaphragm type hydrogen compressor systems are operated by oil hydraulic power. In this system an oil compensating pump has been demanded to compensate for a leakage oil head chamber. The metal diaphragm type hydrogen compressor consists of an oil compensating pump, commonly used hydraulic piston pump and driven by main crank shaft. The radial piston type oil compensating pump with new rolling contacted piston mechanism is developed and experimented. The developed piston element of the radial piston pump consists of piston, steel ball, return spring, two check valves, eccentric cam and ball racer. In this study, designed 4 type pistons as and orifice hole. Operating characteristics and pressure ripple characteristics are tested under no load to 60bar loaded with every 20bar increasing step and pressure ripple and flow rate are experimentally investigated.

  • It is very important to test motion accuracy and performance of NC machine tools as they affect that of all other machines machined by them in industry. In this paper, in has become possible to detect errors of linear displacement of radial direction for circular motion test using newly assembled magnetic type of linear scales so called Magnescale ball bar system, and to calculate time interval getting error motion data and revolution angle of circular motion in machining center using tick pulses come out from computer. And a set of error data gotten from test is expressed to a plot by computer treatment and to numerics of error motion by statistical treatment and results of test are compared with those of Renishaw ball bar system.

  • Improvement of measuring accuracy is an essential part of quality control manufacturing process. The OMM is less than the CMM in measure accuracy but the OMM system is more efficient, easier to use than other measurement system. About 40~70% of the machine tool errors are induced by the thermal errors. Therefore, a key requirement for improving the measuring accuracy is to reduce the geometric and thermal errors. Thermal errors are measured by a ball bar system and predicted by the thermal error modeling. Furthermore, using the pre-defined thermal error map approach compensates the geometric accuracy of the OMM. Appropriate experiments are performed using ball-bar system, temperature measuring devices and touch-type probe. Compensated results are compared with those obtained using CMM to verify the proposed methods.

  • Recently, the machine tools called multi-task machines, which mounted rotary axes on the table or spindle are used increasingly. Accordingly, multi-task machine tool takes a growing interest on the motion accuracy of feed drive system. In this study, measurement and diagnosis of motion errors ware attempted from circular pattern obtained by using DBB (Double ball bar) device. Those were obtained at both clockwise and counter clockwise motions in mutually perpendicularly intersecting three planes. The reliability of error measurement system for multi-task machine tool was verified by the direct test cutting.

  • Efficient development of method on a performance evaluation for machine tools has been regarded as the most important work for accuracy and quality enhancement to every user and manufacturer. A evaluation method of accuracy for machine tools has been studied recently according to the rapid increase of interest in precision machine tools. To this point of view, the circular interpolation test of machine tools is recognized as the most useful method to distinguish a dynamic accuracy of NC machine tools by ISO and ANSI/ASME, etc. In this paper, we have studied and developed the form measurement system with grid encoder to analyse the final accuracy of NC machine tools. we have analyzed the servo system error and geometric error of NC machine tools through measuring a dynamic error signal by this system. and then we verified the experimental result and enhanced the reliability by means of comparing the characteristics of the developed system with the kinematic ball-bar system.

  • This paper presents a new NC machine performance test and calibration system. In order to measure NC machine erros in simpler, and less time-comsuming way, some indirect measuring systems such as circular disk system and double ball bar system have been developed instead of laser interferometer. But these indirect measuring systems have shown their limits in identifying each of NC machine error sources in absolute numerical value. Therefore, we developed an unique NC machine error measurement system which provides a simple measuring process like other conventional indirect methods and still can indentify each of NC machine error sources in absolute numerical value.

  • A kinematic ball bar measurement system can analyze the various errors of a machine tool easily and rapidly in a procedure and can measure many types of equipment such as chip mounter, PCB router, precision stage, etc. In this paper, the thermally induced errors are loused among various errors of a chip mounter because it affects the accuracy of the machine very much. Linear regression technique is adapted for the thermal error modeling. While the measurement and calibration of a chip mounter is difficult in general, this developed system is not only easy to apply for it but also improves the accuracy by 4 times or more.

새로운 구조의 다관절 로봇 매니퓰레이터 (A Revolute Robot Manipulator with a New Structure)

  • Conventional robot manipulators actuated by motors with the speed reducer such as the harmonic drive have weakness in the load capacity, since the speed reducer does not have enough strength. To overcome this, a new type of the robot actuator based on the four-bar-link mechanism driven by the ball screw was proposed and constructed. Also, a new type of a revolute-jointed robot manipulator composed of the developed actuators was developed. The base axis is actuated by the motor with the conventional speed reducer, but the other axes are actuated by the proposed actuators. The kinematics and dynamics of the robot were analyzed, and the performance test of the robot was made. Through the test results, the performance of superior load capacity versus the robot weight is shown.

리니어 스케일을 이용한 NC 선반의 원 운동정도 측정 시스템의 구성 (Organization of Circular Motion Accuracy Measuring System of NC Lathe using Linear Scales)

  • Measurements of circular motion accuracy of NC lathe have achieved with ball bar systems proposed by Bryan, but the ball bar systems have ifluenced on the measuring data by way of the accuracy of the balls and the contacts of balls and bar seats. Therefore in this study, error data during of circular motion of ATC(Automatic Tool Changer) of NC lathe will be acquired by reading zx plane coordinates using two optical linear scales. Two optical linear scales of measuring unit are fixed on z-x plane of NC lathe, and the moving part is fixed to ATC and then is made to receive data of coordinates of the ATC at constant time intervals using tick pulses comming out from computer. And then, error data files of radial direction of circular motion are calculated with the data read, and the aspect of circular motion are modeled to plots, and are analysed by means of statistical treatments of circularity, means, standard deviations etc.
