아파트 단위주거의 리모델링 요소와 현황 - 인테리어디자인업체 실무자와 거주자 심층면접을 통하여 - (Elements and Actual Condition of Apartment Unit Remodeling - By In-depth Interviews on Residents and Specialists of Interior Design Companies -)

  • The purpose of this study was to grasp major elements and actual condition of apartment unit remodeling by in-depth interviews on residents and specialists. The interviews had been conducted to interior designers who have a wide experience of apartment remodeling and residents who live in recently remodeled apartment unit. In-depth interview is a kind of qualitative method in which attention to reply of responses with open-access between interviewer and respondents. According to the results, remodeling elements were generally changing of lighting fixtures and finishing materials in the all spaces, integration of balcony into children's room, installation of furniture in kitchen and entrance, changing storage furnitures and equipments in bathroom. Artificial lighting method were selected generally whole lighting. Finishing materials were used ordinary (non environmentally-friendly) wallpaper and adhesion and tempered floor. There were unsatisfied factors after remodeling, these were dissatisfaction of design, construction defects, and stink of reflecting 'sick house'. Also they responded that they should be considering to use environmentally-friendly material at next remodeling.

대전지역 아파트 거주자의 주거의식에 관한 조사연구 (Survey on Apartment Dwellers' Perception of Housing Environment in Daejeon City)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the residents' perceptive opinions of apartment housing environment and to contribute to develop a apartment unit plan in Daejeon City. This research was performed by a questionnaire survey method, 464 data was collected from apartment residents lived in about $85m^2$ unit with 3 rooms and the apartments was limited to the complexes within 3 years at Yuseong-gu and Seo-gu. By analyzing those data, findings are as follows: 1) Residents thought living room, kitchen and bathroom were importment space in a unit plan. They needed a storage function in an entrance and a intermediate room, and Anbang(materbed room) so did. L-DK plan type was very preferred. 2) Sub-kitchen was needed for a refrigerator of Kinch, the location of it was realted to a main kitchen and a uitility. the third room was needed for library, home office and storage space. 3) The enlargment remodeling of balcony was showed livingroom balcony or personal bedrooms at the time of occupancy. They needed the balcony near a kitchen or an utility to equip a storage facility. And residents were preferred to their taste rather than a choice of interior concept package services.

설문조사를 통한 노후 공동주택의 설비 리모델링 의식조사 (A Residents' Mechanical Equipment Remodeling Preferences Study on the Aged Apartment Housing by Questioning Survey)

  • This study has been conducted to provide the basic datum to draw mechanical equipments needed for aged apartment housing remodeling by questioning survey and interview for residents who has been lived in the aged apartment housing. To preferences survey, we prepare four forms of sheets - questioning survey and interview for residents, interview for managers, and visiting interview for residents. The questioning survey results shows that some residents feel discomfort for water hammer and water supply noise and for noise and stink transmission from air duct installed ceiling to ventilate bathroom. The interview results for residents and managers shows typically two major problems. The first is insulation and heating problems when balcony extended in each household. The second is piping and shaft layouts problem for maintenance and remodeling flexibility. It is important to study indepth each problems because these problems will increase more in the future.

대전지역 아파트 단위주호 계획에 대한 거주자의 주거의식에 관한 조사연구 (Survey on Condominium Apartment Dwellers' Consciousness of Unit Plan in Daejeon City)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the residents' consciousness of the unit plan on condominium apartment and to contribute to develop a condominium apartment unit plan in Daejeon City. This research was performed by a questionnaire survey method, 464 data was collected from apartment residents lived in about $85\;m^2$ unit with 3 rooms and the apartments was limited to the complexes within 1-4 years of the length of building at Yuseong-gu and Seo-gu. By analyzing those data, findings are as follows: 1) Residents thought living room, kitchen and bathroom were importment space in a unit plan. They needed a storage function in an entrance and a intermediate room, and Anbang(mater bedroom) so did. 2) L-DK plan type was very popular and the type of front DK with L on the floor plan was preferred. This was unique results. 3) Sub-kitchen was needed for a refrigerator of Kimchi, the location of it was related to a main kitchen and a utility. the third room was needed for library, home office and storage space. 3) Bath-tub in An-bang and showe-booth in public bathroom was preferred. This was same to the popular trend of Korean condominium apartment. 4) The enlargment remodeling of balcony was showed livingroom balcony or personal bedrooms at the time of occupancy. They needed the balcony near a kitchen or an utility to equip a storage facility. Additionally, residents were preferred to their taste rather than a choice of interior concept package services.

공동주택 스마트 외피 시스템의 양중 팔레트 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of the Lifting Palette in the Smart Skin System of Apartment Housing)

  • This study was performed to develop the lifting pallets for the application of smart skin system when remodeling the balcony of apartment house. For this purpose, the smart skin system based on IoT, combining window, BIPV, ESS, air purifier applied in this study was examined. The study developed and presented a foldable double pallet considering the load (about 2Ton) and specification (width 7m × height 2.6m × width 1.3m) of the smart skin system. In future research, it is necessary to verify the application of the foldable pallet in this study.

주거건물용 이중외피 시스템의 블라인드 조절에 따른 에너지 성능평가에 관한 연구 (Energy Performance Evaluation of a Double-skin Facade with a Venetian Blind in Residential Buildings)

  • Apartment balcony has been remodeled since the government permitted remodeling in January 2006.But extended balcony has great impact on building heat gain and loss. Therefore It has problems such as increase of heating and cooling energy. So $\underline{t}echnical$ solutions about window solar gain in summer is an urgent matter. The Purpose of this study is to evaluate energy performance of a blind in a double-skin facade in residential buildings by using EnergyPlus program. The results show that slat angles of $90^{\circ}$ is best in energy performance if we do not consider daylight. Poorly daylighted living room needs electric light and it also causes high cooling load. On the other hand, the results show that the application of blinds controlled automatically is best for energy performance when we consider daylight. Blind slat angles of $50\sim60^{\circ}$ have best performance when blinds are controlled in this angle throughout the day on a clear day in August. Blind slat angles of $0\sim30^{\circ}$ have best performance when blinds $\underline{are\;controlled}$ in this angle throughout the day on a cloudy day (more than 7 of total sky cover) in August.
