This study was carried out to investigate the relation between the Onbyung and the skin disease, and classify the medical treatment by some categories. The results were as follows ; 1. Onbyung reduces the Eun(陰) by the fever and the skin disease results from the deficiency of the Eun and blood. 2. We can grasp the depth of the disease and the damage of the Jung Gi(正氣) by the observation of the every condition on the skin disease. 3. Medical treatment 1. Hae Phyo Bub(解表法) Using the method of the perspiration, we take care of the preservation of the sap. 2. Cheong Gi Bub(淸氣法) of the using Gypsum and Tong Ha Bub(通下法) of the using Dae Whang(大黃). A. Cheong Gi Bub(淸氣法) When the Sa(邪) stay the Gi area(氣分), we use the radiational material or the Wha Sub(化濕) material with Gypsum. B. Tong Ha Bub(通下法) We reduce the evil fever by the Ha Bub(下法). 3. Cheong Yul Hae Dog Bub(淸熱解毒法) and Ja Eum Bub(滋陰法) 4. Wha Sub Bub(化濕法) This treatment reduce the fever by eliminating the urine or the sweat.

Spindle position checkpoint monitors the orientation of mitotic spindle for proper segregation of replicated chromosomes into mother cell and the daughter, and prohibits mitotic exit when mitotic spindle is misaligned. BUB2 forms one of the key upstream element of spindle position checkpoint in budding yeast, but its functional homologues have not been identified in higher eukaryotes. Here, we analyzed the functions of two putative BUB2 homologues of C. elegans in the spindle orientation checkpoint. From the C. elegans genome database, we found that two open reading frames (ORFs), F35H12_2 and C33F10_2, showed high sequence homology with BUB2. We obtained the expressed sequence tag (EST) clones for F35H12_2 (yk221d4) and C33F10_2 (yk14e10) and verified the full cDNA for each ORF by sequencing and 5' RACE with SL1 primer. The functional complementation assays of yk221d4 and yk14e10 in ${\Delta}bub2$ of S. cerevisiae revealed that these putative BUB2 homologues of C. elegans could not replace the function of BUB2 in spindle position checkpoint and mitotic exit. Our attempt to document the component of spindle position checkpoint in metazoans using sequence homology was not successful. This suggests that structural information about its components might be required to identify functional homologues of the spindle position checkpoint in higher eukaryotes.

Bub1 is one of the spindle checkpoint proteins and plays a role in recruitment of the related proteins to kinetochore. Here, we studied the structural characteristic of the evolutionarily conserved 160 amino acid region in the N-terminus (hBub1 CD1), using Circular Dichroism (CD) and NMR. Our CD results showed that hBub1 CD1 is a highly helical protein and its structure was affected by pH: as pH was elevated to basic pH, the helical propensity increased. This could be related to the surface charge of the hBub1 CD1. However, the structural change did not largely depend on the salt concentration, though the thermal stability a little increased. The previous NMR analysis revealed that the hBub1 CD1 adopts eight helices, which is consistent with the CD result. Our result would be helpful for evaluating the molecular mechanism of the hBub1 CD1 and protein-protein interactions.

'On Zu Bub,' written in Korean, is the anonymous old cook book. The kinds of cooking food recorded-Wine 44, Nu Ruk 2, Sauce 2, dessert 6, side dish 2 etc.-are fifty-six items in all. Especially it was written mirutely about brewage. The wines such as Sub Wang Mo You Bok Gyung Hyang Zu, Gu Ga Zu, Sin Bang Zu, Bang Se Hyang Zu, Zuhk Sun So Zu, Gye Dang Zu, Sa Mi Zu, Gwa Ha Jul Mi Zu were not found in other old cook books, 'Eum Sik Di Mi Bang' and 'Zu Bang Moon' and the contents about Gu Gi Za Zu was guoted from Zi Bung You Suhl. The seasonings used were black pepper, ginger, Chun Cho, Cinnamon, Sugar, ect, but red pepper was not used. But, we can find 'Bingsagua' from this book. First 'Bingsagua' has been found in 1789. 'On zu Bub' is guessed developed in late 1700's.

세포의 유사분열 과정에서 Spindle Assembly Checkpoint (SAC)는 키네토코어와 방추체의 미세소관의 연결을 확인하여 오류 없이 염색체 분열이 진행되도록 돕는 역할을 한다. SAC는 30년이 넘는 오랜 기간 동안 많은 연구자들에 의해 연구되었다. 하지만 단 하나의 연결되지 않은 키네토코어가 SAC를 어떻게 활성화시킬 수 있는지에 대해서는 그 기작이 명확히 밝혀지지 않았다. SAC의 핵심 단백질은 Mad1, Mad2. Mad3 (상위 진핵세포에서는 BubR1), Bub1, Bub3, Cdc20를 포함하는데, 이 단백질 모두 SAC의 활성화에 필요하다. SAC의 활성화에 핵심적인 단계는 미세소관과 연결되지 않은 키네토코어에서 Mad2과 Cdc20가 결합하여 복합체를 만드는 것인데, 이 과정은 화학반응에서 쉽게 일어나지 않는 반응이다. Mad2와 Cdc20가 어떻게 키네토코어로 갈 수 있는지에 대해서는 잘 알려져 있었지만, 어떻게 Mad2과 Cdc20가 결합하여 복합체 만들 수 있는지에 대해서는 알려지지 않았다. 최근 다른 실험 방법을 이용한 두 개의 다른 논문들이 어떻게 미세소관과 연결되지 않은 키네토코어에서 Mad2-Cdc20 복합체를 형성하는 지에 대한 핵심적인 기작을 밝혔다. 이 연구들은 단 하나의 연결되지 않은 키네토코어가 SAC 활성화시킬 수 있다는 것에 대한 가설을 뒷받침하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SAC 활성화에 중요한 주요 기작들을 정리하고, SAC에 과한 최신 연구들을 자세히 살펴본 후, 이 결과들이 세포 분열 연구 분야에 있어서 어떻게 기여했는지 논의할 것이다.

During mitosis, genomic integrity is maintained by the proper coordination of anaphase entry and mitotic exit via mitotic checkpoints. In budding yeast, mitotic exit is controlled by a regulatory cascade called the mitotic exit network (MEN). The MEN is regulated by a small GTPase, Tem1p, which in turn is controlled by a two-component GAP, Bfa1p-Bub2p. Recent results suggested that phosphorylation of Bfa1p by the polorelated kinase Cdc5p is also required for triggering mitotic exit, since it decreases the GAP activity of Bfa1p-Bub2p. However, the dispensability of GEF Lte1p for mitotic exit has raised questions about regulation of the MEN by the GTPase activity of Tem1p. We isolated a Bfa1p mutant, $Bfa1p^{E438K}$, whose overexpression only partially induced anaphase arrest. The molecular and biochemical functions of $Bfa1p^{E438K}$ are similar to those of wild type Bfa1p, except for decreased GAP activity. Interestingly, in $BFA1^{E438K}$ cells, the MEN could be regulated with nearly wild type kinetics at physiological temperature, as well as in response to various checkpoint-activating signals, but the cells were more sensitive to spindle damage than wild type. These results suggest that the GAP activity of Bfa1p-Bub2p is responsible for the mitotic arrest caused by spindle damage and Bfa1p overproduction. In addition, the viability of cdc5-2 ${\Delta}bfa1 $ cells was not reduced by $BFA1^{E438K}$, suggesting that Cdc5p also regulates Bfa1p to activate mitotic exit by other mechanism(s), besides phosphorylation.

This study is designed to assess the effect of hypnosis on the pain disorder patient. We treated a patient by using hypnosis as well as traditional oriental therapy-acupuncture, herbal medicine, Chu-Na therapy. We divide the pain into four parts and then we checked the intensities of them comparing with those of the first treatment. The pain worsened by psychic factor was decreased after treatment. Especially, after hypnosis, the intensity of the pain is highly changed. Psychotherapy in oriental medicine can be helpful to treat patients who have psychic and physical disorders.

The community of women into society in various fields is expanding, and married late, and accordingly, the first child birth is increasing age. Accordingly, dystocia has also increased. Listed in the literature that the traditional method of birth seemed to oriental medical interpretation of one of the ancient wisdom of the predecessors to explore. The result of this study is summarized as follows. 1. Child birth custom divide into childbirth preparation, childbirth and postpartum care. Postpartum care divide into preparation of the birthplace, food for pregnant woman and birth preparation of the necessary things. 2. Preparation of the birthplace of the court case and that qeen is three months, one month before that in the case of concubines were installed. The difference in manners, and actual number but the configuration of the same item was prepared. In the private, birthplace is installed husband's home or parent's home. 3. Rice and seaweed is food for pregnant woman. San Miguel (产 米), sangwak (山 藿) specifically called was selected by Keep elaborate. 4. 1 month before birth to baby clothing is usually prepared. For the safe of a paturient woman and a baby, magical prescription was practiced in so-guk-so(昭格署) in early chosun dynasty. After so-guk-so(昭格署) abolished magical practice was stopped. Then Wore old clothes based on dong-ui-bo-gam(東醫寶鑑) 5. Im-san-ye-zi-bub(臨产豫智法) specifically to instruct the royal birth is the birth of guidelines. Im-san-ye-zi-bub(臨产豫智法) cosist of birth place, abdominal pain Precautions, food, care after childbirth, remove the plecenta posion, method of cut navel, bath, protection. Through various court records of the situation, according to the guidelines are properly applied based on dong-ui-bo-gam(東醫寶鑑).

본 연구는 판소리의 치료적 요소에 대해 연구하기 위해 비국악인이 판소리를 감상하는 과정에서 경험하게 되는 요소들을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서는 5명의 국악을 전공하지 않은 연구 참여자가 판소리를 듣는 동안에 경험하는 것을 심층 면접을 통해 자료로 수집하였고 이를 변형된(modified) 근거 이론 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 판소리를 감상하는 과정에서 판소리 창자의 창법과 목소리의 음색, 판소리 사설, 고수의 북소리, 고수의 역할 요소는 감상자로 하여금 다양한 차원의 정서, 신체 반응을 경험하고 자신이 경험한 정서와 연관된 사고를 유발하였다. 이는 개인의 내적 문제와 연관되어 자신이 평소에 알지 못했던 내면의 문제를 인식하게 하고, 내 안의 감정과 만나도록 중재되었다. 그리고 감상자가 경험한 개인의 정서와 인식은 또 다른 차원 반응을 유발하여 감상자는 판소리의 요소들을 통해 자신의 부정적 감정을 해결하는 근원을 찾고 내 안의 감정을 정리하는 과정을 경험하였다.
