Fuzzy Logic Control를 이용한 BLDC 모터의 전압 제어 속도 제어기 (Voltage Controlled Speed Controller of BLDC Motor Using Fuzzy Logic Control)

  • DC 모터는 브러시 구조가 있는 DC 모터와 브러시 구조가 없는 BLDC(Brushless DC) 모터로 분류된다. BLDC 모터는 DC 모터의 브러시가 없이 정류를 전자적으로 수행하는 모터로 BLDC 모터의 속도제어를 대표하는 것은 PI 제어이다. PI 제어기를 이용한 속도제어는 정상상태에 도달하는 응답 특성이 느리다는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이를 보완하기 위해 정상 상태까지 도달하는 시간이 짧고 비선형 제어에도 쉽게 제어가 가능한 FLC(Fuzzy Logic Controller)를 이용해 전압을 가감하는 방식의 전압 제어 속도 제어기 제안하였다. 제시한 퍼지 속도 제어기의 타당성과 유용성은 MATLAB 프로그램의 Simulink를 통해 모의실험으로 입증하였다. 모의실험은 기준 속도를 500rpm, 800rpm, 1500rpm의 3가지 경우로 각각 PI 제어기와 제안한 퍼지 속도 제어기를 실험하였다. 실험 결과 제안한 퍼지 속도 제어기가 30% 정도 개선된 정상 상태 속도 응답 특성을 보이며 PI 제어기에 비해서 빠른 속도 응답 특성을 갖고 있음을 입증하였다.

  • This paper represents a realization of a fuzzy PI control method for a speed control of BLDC motor. In other words, the gains of the PI controller is tuned by a fuzzy logic controller. Simplified reasoning methods are used for fuzzy reasoning. Fuzzy logic speed controller is designed by using the high performance of DSPchip(TMS320F240). By experiment, it is confirmed that the speed of BLDC motor well follows an command speed in the load variables or speed variables.

  • This study documents the 3-phase BLDC(Brushless DC) motor to improve conventional exhaust fan motor. Energy efficiency, noise, and air pollution reduction for the high-performance vibration of the BLDC motor has been used in many fields. It is necessary to achieve the information of rotor position for driving 3-phase type brushless DC motor. It is also necessary that the PWM control algorithm design for a MOSFET driver to control the motor speed control for each of three phases. BLDC motors for exhaust fan, we studied the controller and software. The control circuit and motor control program through which Exhaust fan up close and person can be used safely and protect the environment.

  • This paper presents a ripple reduction of BLDC motor using TMS320F240. A fault of permanent magnet(PM) BLDC motor possible to miniaturization and high-output is to be difficult to reduce speed-ripple at low speed region. An existing solution is to be use of PWM waveform by PI control with computing control angle of 60$^{\circ}$. The new family of DSP controllers provides a single chip solution by integrating on-chip not only a high computational power but also, all the peripherals necessary for electric motor control. This paper gives an advanced solution of the SVPWM technique for the purpose of reducing control angel rather than 60$^{\circ}$. This technique gives an excellent speed ripple characteristic.

  • In the field of factory automation, single phase induction motors are frequently used for speed control application because of its simplicity and low cost. In this paper, we compare the performances of a single phase induction type speed control motor with a BLDC motor. From the experimental results in the controllable torque-speed load range, the efficiency characteristics and safe operation load areas are compared for each type sample motor.

  • Now a day, owing to high efficiency and easy speed control of brushless DC(BLDC) motor, the demand of BLDC motor that has high power and low noises are increasing. Especially demand of interior permanent magnet(IPM) BLOC with high efficiency and high power in electric motion vehicle is increasing. IPM BLDC motor has permanent magnets in the rotor. Because it has two different flux paths, magnetic reluctance differences are generated in d-axis and q-axis. As the result of the inductance differences that are generated by the saliency(magnetic reluctance differences) in the rotor, the motor has structure advantage that has the additional reluctance torque except a magnet torque and because magnet is situated inside the rotor, the mechanical structure is strong. Therefore IPM BLDC motor makes possible to have high speed and high power. This paper presents a design and characteristics analysis of IPM BLDC motor for electric vehicle. To design IPM BLDC motor, surface mounted permanent magnet(SPM) BLDC motor is used as the initial design model. According to the shape-ratio() of permanent magnet, the characteristic of IPM BLDC motor is analyzed by Finite element method (FEM). Characteristics analysis results of the designed motor are compared with the experimental results.

전류측정 데이터를 이용한 브러쉬 없는 직류전동기의 구동토크 예측 (A Driving Torque Prediction of Brushless DC Motor by Using the Measured Current Data)

  • This paper presents an estimation scheme of the external torque applied on the motor by using measured motor input current when the IPM(Interior Permanent Magnet) rotor type BLDC motor operates with constant speed. In general, the BLDC motor is controlled by vector control method. If it could be operated at over critical speed, the control scheme must be modified to flux-weakening control method. The external torque applied on the motor using flux-weakening control method could not be calculated by conventional torque equation because the demagnetizing current Id exists in the motor input current. In this paper, the commonly used flux-weakening control method is studied and the modified torque estimation scheme is suggested. The estimation scheme has been verified by the simulations and experimental results.

  • As a brush DC motor, the brushless DC motor is also operated by DC power supply but has no mechanical contacts occurred by a brush or a commutator. Though the performance of BLDC motor is almost similar with that of DC motor, the BLDC motor has the advantage of the high speed responsibility, the high controllability, and the high effectiveness. The control valve using the BLDC motor, which excludes the burnout effect provoked possibly by the vacuum condition during the flight, is employed for the upper stage of a launch vehicle. For the component level analysis, the dynamic response characteristics of BLDC and DC motors to the same design input sources have been studied in using AMEsim.

  • This paper presents a speed controller for the Sinusoidal type BLDC motor using the sliding mode. Since the sliding mode control has some practical limitations such as the chattering phenomenon and reaching phase problems, the technique of overcoming these limitations is proposed in a practical realization. This proposed speed control technique is composed of an smooth integral variable structure control(IVSC), and chattering prediction method.

  • 직류전동기는 자속 및 토크 제어가 간단하고 정밀하여 가변속 구동장치로 많이 사용된다. 그러나 정류자와 브러시의 접촉 및 마모부분이 있으므로 정기적인 보수, 점검이 필요하며, 정류자의 정류 한계상 고속화 및 고압화에 문제가 있고, 대용량화에도 한계가 있으며, 설치하는 환경에도 큰 제약이 따른다. 따라서 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위해 직류전동기를 BLDC 전동기로 대치하여 가변속 제어하는 방법의 연구가 오래 전부터 지속되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 PWM 인버터로 구동되는 BLDC 전동기의 수학적 모델을 전개하였고, 실험에 의한 파라미터 추정을 통하여 BLDC 전동기의 동특성 및 정상상태특성을 토크, 속도, 전압과 전류에 대하여 시뮬레이션 및 분석하였다.
