유도형 탄약의 조종날개 제어용 Sensorless BLDC 전동기 구동시스템 개발 (Sensorless BLDC Motor Control to Drive Fins for Flight Attitude Control of a Guided Artillery Munition)

  • In this paper, a BLDC(Brushless DC) motor control system for driving fins to control the flight attitude of the guided artillery munition is developed. This system adopts a sensorless control scheme without any position sensor such as a Hall sensor fragile at high altitudes. The sensorless control of the BLDC motor is achieved by using commutation signals obtained from the measured pole voltages. The position control of the fin is also performed by using of the estimated speed from the commutation signals. The experimental results on the actual fin drive system demonstrated that the developed sensorless control algorithm can give an excellent position control performance.

  • Throttle Control 장치는 차량의 지능화와 연료 절감의 이유로 기계식에서 전기적 신호의 연결로 구동시키는 시스템으로 발전하고 있다. 전기 전자 시스템을 도입한 ETC(Electronic Throttle Control)의 구성요소 중 필수적인 구동 원으로 DC모터를 많이 사용하고 있지만, DC모터는 정류작용 시 브러시의 스파크를 발생시키는 단점을 가진다. 이에 전기적 및 기계적 Noise가 적고 신뢰성이 높으며 수명이 긴 BLDC 모터의 개발이 필요하다. 이에 BLDC 모터의 기초 설계와 최적 설계를 통해 형상을 설계하고 이를 정자계 유한요소법을 이용하여 해석하고 목표 토크인 0.2[Nm]에 적합한 BLDC 모터를 설계하였다.

  • Precision control technologies are required for photolithography. The linear BLDC motor is used for the stage operations. The stage that is installed in a photolithography device is basically controlled in three directions(x, y, z axes). This paper presents precision control technologies of the linear BLDC motor in one direction by computer simulations. A position control system with linear BLDC motor is now being tested.

  • BLDC motor is widely used in automation areas for its good maintenance and controllability. In this paper it is designed for a speed control servo system of sinusoidal typo BLDC motor that can be easily adapted to automation systems with lower cost. Also, control parameters & periods are made adjustable according to the sensors of the motor, electric and mechanical time constant, and PI and PD control are used. The processor for the proposed system is a low cost 16bit One-Chip microprocessor. By experimental results from application to the industrial sewing machine, one of the application of BLDC motor, it can be verified that under the given reference, the system is enough as a speed and position servo without overshoots.

  • In this paper, a new excitation scheme is developed to increase the output torque of the sensorless BLDC(Brushless DC) motor(BLDCM), which drives fins to control the flight attitude of a guided artillery munition. The proposed scheme is based on a 12-step excitation strategy combining two-phase and three-phase excitations. The proposed 12-step excitation scheme can produce more torque than a typical 6-step scheme for the start-up and synchronous operation in the sensorless BLDCM drive. The simulation and experimental results on the sensorless BLDCM drive system to control the fin were verified the validity of the proposed scheme.

  • The permanent magnet BLDC motors are increasingly being used in high performance applications due to the high torque density and simplicity in their control. In this paper, the control system of the BLDC motor is developed which can be used for the micro motor handpiece, and position sensorless control is realized using back EMF measurement scheme, The validity and practical applications of the developed slotless BLDC motor and drive system are verified through the experimental results.

  • Due to low cost and high reliability, Brushless DC (BLDC) motors have been widely used in control applications such as robotics, aerospace and automobile. In the high performance control systems, it is very important to maintain the desired speed even in the face of parameter uncertainties, modeling errors, and disturbance signals. In this paper, we present an $H_{\infty}$ controller for the speed control of BLDC motors to achieve better performance of disturbance rejection. In particular, we discuss how to reduce an initial peaks of control input in the proposed $H_{\infty}$ controller. Some experimental results are provided to establish the effectiveness of the proposed method.

  • In this paper, because the position sensor represents the important factor in BLDC (Brushless DC) motor drives, BLDC motor is necessary that the three Hall-sensors evenly be distributed around the stator circumference in case of the 3 phase motor. The Hall-sensor is set up in this motor to detect the main flux from the rotor. So the output signal from Hall-sensor is used to drive IGBT to control the stator winding current. However, in case of breakdown Hall sensor, we research that the estimation algorithm of Hall sensor signal to detect rotor position and for the speed feedback signals with BLDC motor whose six stator and two rotor designed. In addition, this paper presents a sensorless speed control of BLDC Motor using terminal voltage of the one phase. Rotor position information is extracted by indirectly sensing the back EMF from only one of the three terminal voltages for a three-phase BLDC motor.

  • Recently, high-performance BLDC(Brushless DC) motors are being applied to various fields such as industrial and personal mobility devices and drones. To achieve the best performance of BLDC, sensors such as hall sensors, encoders, and resolvers are used to determine the position of the rotor, and various speed control technologies are being developed. However, due to problems with high-speed control due to external environmental factors and frequency bandwidth of semiconductor sensing devices, research on BLDC motors without semiconductor sensing devices is in progress. Therefore, in this study, a signal brush was added to the end of the rotor of a BLDC motor and the rotor position of the BLDC motor was detected by analyzing the signal output through the signal brush.

  • This paper provides a technical review of speed control using variable gain PI algorithm for BLDC(Brushless DC) motor. Usually the PI control is used in many motor applications, but a general PI control has problems of overshooting and disturbance for response. By the change of PI gain in motor control operation, these problems can be solved. To find the optimized PI gains for BLDC motor control, many control methods have been proposed. In this paper, the control algorithm with a variable PI gain is applied to improve overshooting response in transient region and rapid load disturbance rejection. Fixed gain and variable gain PI controls are compared. The validity of the propose method is verified by experiment.
