  • The purpose of this study is to survey and analyze the growth, management and surrounding environment of the big and old trees in Kyoungju-si or the cultural assets alive in our history, and thereby, provide for some data useful to their reasonable protection and use of their surrounding areas. As a result of surveying the growth conditions of the big and old trees, it was found that the height of new grass was 10.5cm on average, the activity scale of the wood was 7.2k$\Omega$, the soil hardness was $16.7kg/cm^2$, the soil acidity was pH 4.8, and the soil moisture was $13.3\%$. Such findings suggest that the soil has been acidified by people's frequent passages, but that the other growth conditions are more or less normal. Hence, it is desirable to secure a sufficient space around the trees or reduce people's stamping pressure with some mechanisms. On the other hand, the visible conditions of the trees were found more or less normal, but many trees remained cut or barked (with some cavities), requiring an optimal treatment or measure. Lastly, as the population has decreased in the suburban traditional villages, the surrounding environment seems to be less vulnerable to people's frequent visits. Nevertheless, in consideration of the fact that there are only a few public space for the villagers, it is deemed necessary to rearrange or maintain some parts of the surrounding environment as public space for villagers or hikers.

  • As interest in traffic safety increases, research on autonomous driving, which reduces the incidence of traffic accidents, is increased. Object recognition and detection are essential for autonomous driving. Therefore, research on object recognition and detection through traffic image big data is being actively conducted to determine the road conditions. However, because most existing studies use only daytime data, it is difficult to recognize objects on night roads. Particularly, in the case of a light source object, it is difficult to use the features of the daytime as it is due to light smudging and whitening. Therefore, this study proposes Yolo based light source object detection for traffic image big data processing. The proposed method performs image processing by applying color model transitions to night traffic image. The object group is determined by extracting the characteristics of the object through image processing. It is possible to increase the recognition rate of light source object detection on a night road through a deep learning model using candidate group data.

  • The creation of value and the enhancement of benefits through records management by enterprises are comparable to those by public institutions. However, Korea has yet to establish guidelines on corporate records management. Global companies are strengthening their competitiveness by reducing trial and error in their work through the accumulation and use of records as information assets, which serve as the output of their work processes. While Korean companies agree on the necessity of corporate records management, most of them are concerned with archival (noncurrent records) management, such as historical compilation and historical data management, rather than records (current record) management. Therefore, through a case study of a K-company with effective records management, this study identifies methods to promote the accumulation, use, and management of corporate records in line with the search of value and benefits. Moreover, the company emphasizes the management of corporate records as a big data platform that accumulates and uses data, which is an important resource in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and proposes measures for their revitalization.

  • With the advent of the era of the fourth industry, more and more scientific techniques are being used to solve decision-making problems. In particular, big data analysis technology is developing as it becomes easier to collect numerical data. Therefore, in this study, in order to overcome the limitations of qualitatively analyzing investment trends, the association of various products was analyzed using associated analysis techniques. For the experiment, two experimental periods were divided based on the COVID-19 economic crisis, and sales information from individuals, institutions, and foreign investors was collected, and related analysis algorithms were implemented through r software. As a result of the experiment, institutions and foreigners recently invested in the KOSPI and KOSDAQ markets and bought futures and products such as ETF. Individuals purchased ETN and ETF products together, which is presumed to be the result of the recent great interest in sector investment. In addition, after COVID-19, all investors tended to be passive in investing in high-risk products of futures and options. This paper is thought to be a useful reference for product sales and product design in the financial field.

  • Purpose: This study is to analyze the changes of consumption patterns to diagnose the economic impacts on consumers' market during COVID-19, and to suggest implications to overcome the new social and economic crisis of Jeju Island. Research design, data, and methodology: We collected a set of credit card transaction records issued by BC Card Company from merchants in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province for past 4 years from 2017 to 2020 from the Jeju Data Hub run by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province. The big data contains details of approved credit card transactions including the approval numbers, amount, locations and types of merchants, time and age of users, etc. The researchers summed up amount in monthly basis, transforming big data to small data to analyze the changes of consumption before and after COVID-19. Results: Sales fell sharply in transportation industries including airlines, and overall consumption by age group decreased while the decrease in consumption among the seniors was relatively small. The sales of Yeon-dong and Yongdam-dong in Jeju City also fell significantly compared to other regions. As a result of the paired t-test of all 73 samples in Jeju City, the p-value of the mean consumption of the credit card in 2019 and 2020 is significant, statistically proven that the total consumption amount in the two years is different. Conclusions: We found there are sensitive spots that can be strategically approached based on the changes in consumption patterns by industry, region, and age although most of companies and small businesses have been hit by COVID-19. It is necessary for local companies and for the government to be focusing their support on upgrading services, in order to prevent declining sales and job instability for their employees, creating strategies to retain jobs and prevent customer churn in the face of the crisis. As Jeju Province is highly dependent on the tertiary industry, including tourism, it is suggested to create various strategies to overcome the crisis of the pandemic by constantly monitoring the sales trends of local companies.

  • This study investigated the relationship between heat-related illnesses obtained from healthcare big data and daily maximum temperature observed in seven metropolitan cities in summer during 2013~2015. We found a statistically significant positive correlation (r = 0.4~0.6) between daily maximum temperature and number of the heat-related patients from Pearson's correlation analyses. A time lag effect was not observed. Relative Risk (RR) analysis using the Generalized Additive Model (GAM) showed that the RR of heat-related illness increased with increasing threshold temperature (maximum RR = 1.21). A comparison of the RRs of the seven cities, showed that the values were significantly different by geographical location of the city and had different variations for different threshold temperatures. The RRs for elderly people were clearly higher than those for the all-age group. Especially, a maximum value of 1.83 was calculated at the threshold temperature of $35^{\circ}C$ in Seoul. In addition, relatively higher RRs were found for inland cities (Seoul, Gwangju, Daegu, and Daejeon), which had a high frequency of heat waves. These results demonstrate the significant risk of heat-related illness associated with increasing daily maximum temperature and the difference in adaptation ability to heat wave for each city, which could help improve the heat wave advisory and warning system.
