Design and Fabrication of Light-Weight Composit Bus Bar (복합경량 부스바의 설계 및 제작)

  • Copper is widely used in electric wire, cable, conductor in electric devices. As the demand for electric power is increasing rapidly, electric power devices are getting amazingly bigger and complicated. The using of light-weight conductor can reduce the size and making cost of the electric devices. In high-frequency application, Electric current in a conductor tends to shift to the surface of the conductor, resulting in an uneven current distribution in the inner conductor. In the extreme case the current may essentially concentrate in the 'skin' of the inner conductor as a surface current. In high frequency application, therefore, inner area of copper conductor may replace with aluminum conductor, which reduces the weight of conductor. This paper describes the manufacture and evaluation of composite conductors made of copper and aluminum. The optimum extruding ratio was 16 at $300^{\circ}C$. The electrical resistance of manufactured composite bus bar was $57{\mu}{\Omega}$ at DC and $49.5{\mu}\{Omega}$ at 300Hz.

  • In this article, new microstrip slow-wave bandpass filters using open loop resonator loaded with inter-digital capacitive fingers is proposed. The filter features not only compact in size, but also exhibits spurious stop-band rejection. Filters of this type with elliptic function and Chebyshev response are demonstrated. There is good agreement between experimental and full-wave electromagnetic (EM) simulation results.

  • In this paper a four-pole elliptic function bandpass filter is designed with two ground slots. A research of microstrip bandpass filters (BPF) using defected ground structures (DGS) is presented. DGS technique allows designs of tight couplings without the necessity of using very narrow coupling gaps. The simulator Sonnet is used to design the resonator and to calculate the coupling coefficient of the basic coupling structure. Compared to similar microstrip filters without defected ground structure, the simulated performances of these novel structures indicate some technological advantages.

  • The hybrid thin-film (HTF) passivation layer composed of the UV curable acrylate layer and MS-31 (MgO:SiO2=3:1wt%) layer was adopted in organic light emitting diode (OLED) to protect organic light emitting materials from penetrations of oxygen and water vapors. The moisture resistance of the deposited HTF layer was measured by the water vapor transmission rate (WVTR). The results showed that the HTF layer possessed a very low WVTR value of lower than $0.007g/m^2$ per day at $37.8^{\circ}C$ and 100% RH. Therefore, the HTF on the OLED was found to be very effective in protect what from the penetrations of oxygen and moisture.

  • It is very difficult to maintain the desired tank level without overflow or shortage in a dangerous chemical plant. and a cooling one. Futhermore, because its dynamics are very complicate and nonlinear, the accurate mathematical model cannot be technique acquired and also their problems cannot be solved easily. In this paper, a RVEGA SMC for the robust control of a coupled tank level was proposed. The simulation results were very appreciative.

  • Diese Arbeit zielt, darauf die nordseegermanischen Sprachmerkmale nach phonetisch-phonologischen, morphologischen und syntaktischen Indizien zu erhellen. Erscheinungen wie Nasalschwund und Zetazismus stellen phonetisch-phonologische Besonderheiten des Nordseegermanischen dar, $w\"{a}hrend$ z.B. der S-Plural die morphologische Charakteristik des Nordsee-germanischen $repr\"{a}sentiert$. Erscheinungen wie Einheitskasus, Einheitsplural, Einheitsnumerus und Einheitsgenus stellen $demgegen\"{u}ber$ syntaktische Besonderheiten des Nordseegermanischen dar. Ich halte die drei $Dom\"{a}nen$ der Spracherscheinungen $f\"{u}r\;gleicher-ma{\ss}en$ bestimmend im Hinblick auf die Struktur einer Sprache. Weil ich aber die Domane der Lexikologie in diesem Zusammenhang $f\"{u}r$ wenig entscheidend halte, habe ich die Frage des Wortschatzes in dieser Arbeit nicht berucksichtigt.

Dephosphpoylation of P-Nitrophenyldiphenylphosphinate by Benzimidazole Catalyzed with Ethyl tri-n-octyl Ammonium Bromide(ETABr) (ETABr 용액내에서 P-Nitrophenyldiphenylphosphinate의 탈인산화반응에 미치는 Benzimidazole의 촉매효과)

  • The phase transfer catalysis(PTC) reagent, ethyl tri-octyl ammonium bromide(ETABr), strongly catalyzes the reaction of p-nitrophenyi diphenyl phosphinate(p-NPDPIN) with benzimidazole(BI) and its anion($BI^{\theta}$). In ETABr solutions, the dephosphorylation reactions exhibit higher first order kinetics with respect to the nucleophile, BI, and ETABr, suggesting that reactions are occuring in small aggregates of the three species including the sub-strate(p-NPDPIN), whereas the reaction of p-NPDPIN with $OH^{\theta}$ is not catalyzed by ETABr. This behavior for the drastic rate-enhancement of the dephosphorylation is referred as 'aggregation complex model' for reaction of hydrophobic organic phosphinates with benzimidazole(BI) in hydrophobic quarternary ammonium salt(ETABr) solutions.

  • In the paper, a Visual factory model for a optical-components manufacturing process is built. The optical-components manufacturing process is composed of 3 operation processes; optical sub assembly process, package assembly process, and fiber assembly process. Each process is managed not a batch mode, which is one of most popular manufacturing styles to produce a great deal of industrial output, but though a modular cell. In the processes, a modular cell has to be processed independently of the other cells. Optimization for the composition of assembly cell in the optical-components system is made by the Visual factory model.

Anticontrol of Chaos for a Continuous-time TS Fuzzy System via Time-delay Feedback

  • A time-delay feedback control approach is proposed for making a given stable continuous-time Takagi-Sugeno (TS) fuzzy system chaotic, which is based on the fuzzy feedback linearization and a suitable approximate relationship between a time-delay differential equation and a discrete map. The time-delay feedback controller, chosen among several candidates, is a simple sinusoidal function of the delay states of the system, which has small amplitude. This approach is mathematically proven for rigorous generation of chaos from stable continuous-time TS fuzzy systems, where the generated chaos is in the sense of Li and Yorke. Numerical examples are included to visualize the theoretical analysis and the controller design.
