밤나무에 대(対)한 복합비료(複合肥料)의 시용효과(施用効果)에 관(関)하여 (Effects of Compound Fertilizer Applications on the Growth and Nut-production of Chestnut)

  • 밤나무의 시비(施肥)에 따른 증수효과를 구명(究明)함과 동시(同時)에 밤나무 전요(專用) 복합비료(複合肥料)의 개발을 목적(目的)으로 1979년(年)과 1980년(年) 2 개년(個年)에 걸쳐 은기(銀寄)밤나무에 대해 조선비료공업주식회사에서 시제(試製)한 복비(複肥)(16-16-13)와 함붕소복비(含硼素複肥)(16-16-13-0.7)를 일반단비와 비교시험한 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 마음과 같다. 1. 밤나무의 생육(生育)은 시비수준(施肥水準)에 따라 커다란 차이(差異)가 있었으며, 비종별(肥種別)로는 단비보다는 복비(複肥)가 더 좋은 경향(傾向)이었으나 통계적(統計的)인 유의차(有意差)는 없었다. 2. 시비수준(施肥水準)에 따라 주당총착과수 및 결실구과수는 증가하고 낙구과율(落毬果率)은 크게 감소(減少)하는 경향(傾向)을 보여 주었다. 비종별(肥種別)로는 함붕소복비(含硼素複肥)의 낙구과방지효과가 매우 크다는 것이 인정(認定)되었다. 3. 밤 수확량(收穫量)은 시비량(施肥量) 증가에 따라 크게 증가하는 경향(傾向)을 보였으며 비종별(肥種別)로는 단비와 일반복비간(一般複肥間)에는 큰 차이(差果)가 없었으나 함붕소복비(含硼素複肥)를 시용(施用)했을 때는 타비종(他肥種)보다 수량증가가 매우 뚜렷하였다 1980년도(年度)에는 저온 및 일조부족(日照不足)으로 인(因)하여 79년(年) 보다 무비(無肥) 단비 및 일반복비시용구에서의 수량(收量)은 감소(減少)하였으나 함붕소복비시용구에서는 크게 증가하였다. 함붕소복비(含硼素複肥)는 일기가 불순(不順)했을 때 증수효과가 더 크다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 4. 함붕소복비(含硼素複肥)의 시용(施用)은 밤나무의 생장보진(生長保進), 생리적(生理的) 낙과방지(落果防止) 및 밤수량(收量) 증대에 효과가 크다는 것이 인정(認定)되었으므로 이 비료(肥料)를 밤나무 전용복비(專用複肥)로 추천할만 하다고 판단된다.

Flow-through fish test를 이용한 Phosphamidon과 Profenofos의 생물농축계수의 측정 (Determination of Bioconcentration Factor on Phosphamidon and Profenofos by Flow-through Fish Test)

  • Zebrafish(Brachydanio rerio)를 실험어류로 하여 phosphamidon과 profenofos의 생물농축계수(bioconcentration factor: BCF)와 배설속도상수(depuration rate constant) 및 LC$_{50}$를 측정하였다. Phosphamidon의 24, 48, 72, 96시간 LC50 모두 l00 mg/l 이상으로 측정되었다. Phosphamidon 1 mg/l(고농도)와 0.2 mg/l(저농도)에서 어류 체내에서의 농축정도는 두 농도군에서 각각 12시간 이후에 정류상태에 도달하여 168시간동안 거의 일정하였고, BCF값도 12시간에서 16시간 사이에 고농도(0.89, n=7)와 저농도(0.96, n=7)모두 1미만으로 낮게 나타났다. Phosphamidon의 배설속도상수는 고농도와 저농도에서 각각 0.21 h-1과 0.18 h-1 이었고, 반감기는 각각 3.30및 3.85시간으로 측정되었다. 고농도와 저농도에서 각각 12시간 및 8시간 이후에는 g당 0.07 및 0.04 $\mu\textrm{g}$이하로 떨어져 대부분 배설된다는 것을 알 수 있었다. Profenofos의 24, 48, 72, 96시간 LC50는 각각 2.9, 2.6, 2.2, 2.O mg/l로 측정되었다. Profenofos의 96시간 LC$_{50}$ 농도의 1/100농도(0.02 mg/l)와 1/500농도(0.004 mg/l)에서 어류체내에서의 농축정도는 phosphamidon과 마찬가지로 12시간 이후에 정류상태에 도달하여 168시간동안 거의 일정하였고, BCF값은 12시간에서 168시간 사이에 96시간 LC$_{50}$농도의 1/100농도와 1/500농도에서 각각 111.3(n=7)과 141.9(n=7)로 측정되었다. Profenofos의 배설속도상수는 96시간 LC50 농도의 1/100농도와 1/500농도에서 각각 0.10 $h^{-1}$과 0.09$h^{-1}$h-1이었고, 반감기는 각각 6.93 및 7.70시간으로 측정되었다. 각각의 농도에서 12시간 및 8시간 이후에는 g당 0.19$\mu\textrm{g}$ 및 0.18$\mu\textrm{g}$이하로 떨어짐을 알 수 있었다. Phosphamidon과 profenofos의 급성어독성은 profenofos가 높았고, BCF profenofos가 phosphamidon보다 약 100배 정도 높게 나타났으며, 배설속도는 phosphamidon이 profenofos보다 약 2배 정도 빨랐다.

Identification of Transition Characteristics and Bio-concentration Factors of Heavy Metal (loid)s in the Selected Perennial Root Medicinal Plants

  • This study was conducted to identify transition characteristics of arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd), and lead (Pb) and to calculate bio-concentration factors (BCF) in the three perennial root medicinal plants, namely Codonopsis lanceolata (Deoduck), Platycodon grandiflorum (Balloon flower) and Panax ginseng (Korean ginseng) grown in major medicinal plant producing districts in Korea. Average BCF values ranged from 0.009~0.029 in As, 0.334~1.453 in Cd, and 0.021~0.023 in Pb in three perennial root medicinal plants. The BCF values increased in the order of ginseng (0.029) > deodeok (0.012) > balloon flower (0.009) for As, balloon flower (1.453) > deodeok (0.685) > ginseng (0.334) for Cd, and ginseng (0.023) > deodeok (0.022) > balloon flower (0.021) for Pb. The BCF values calculated in this study will be useful for predicting the uptake of heavy metal (loid)s. Further study on uptake and accumulation mechanism of toxic metal (loid)s by agricultural products is required to assess the human health risk associated with soil contamination.

정자의 운동특성이 인공수정 수태율에 미치는 영향 (Effects of sperm motional characteristics on pregnancy rate in HanWoo (Bos taurus coreane))

  • The ejaculates from 67 HanWoo prove bull, bred in Livestock Improvement Main center of NLCF, were used to determine the correlation between the sperm motional characteristics and the pregnancy rate of artificial insemination(AI). The motional characteristics of sperm were analysed by Computer-assisted sperm analyser(CASA), thereafter inseminated equally 1,256 heads of cow regarding to parity, age, and live weight. There were no significant difference(p>0.05) in the pregnancy rate according to year from 1996 to 1998, but the LIN, ALH, STR, BCF, MAD and WOB of sperm in the year 1997, were highest pregnancy rate, were higher than those of sperm in the year 1998, were lowest pregnancy rate(p<0.05). The semen had no significant effect on pregnancy rate according to season(p>0.05). However spring, had a little higher pregnancy rate than that of autumn, were higher than autumn in VSL, VAP, LIN, ALH, BCF, MAD and WOB, but in DNM. The pregnancy rates of spring in the year 1996 and 1997 were higher than that of autumn in the year 1998(p<0.05). The spring in the year 1997, highest in pregnancy rate, were higher than the autumn in the year 1998 in VSL, VAP, LIN, STR, BCF, MAD and WOB, but in DNM(p<0.05). There were no the motion characteristic of sperm that was significant correlate with pregnancy rate of AI as the semen were analysed before artificial insemination and those, had some degree characteristics in motility, viability and abnormality, were used to AI. However there were a tendency that the higher the VSL, VAP, ALH, LIN, STR, BCF, MAD and WOB and the lower the DNM were, the higher the pregnancy rate of AI were.

Carassius auratus(goldfish)를 이용한 Chlorothalonil의 단기간 생물농축계수와 분배계수의 측정 (Determination of Short-term Bioconcentration Factor and Partition Coefficient on Chlorothalonil in Carassius auratus(goldfish))

  • The Bioconcentration factor (BCF) is used as an important criterion in the risk assessment of environmental contaminants. Also it can be used as indicator of biomagnification of environmentally hazardous chemicals through food-chain as well as a tool for ranking the bioconcentration potential of the chemicals in the environment. This paper reports the measured BCF value on Chlorothalonil in Carassius auratus(goldfish), under steady state, and examined correlation between the BCF value and the partition coefficient or acute toxicity or physicochemical properties. Carassius auratus(goldfish) was chosen as test organism and test period were 3-day, 5-day. Experimental concentrations were 0.005, 0.01 and 0.05 ppm. Chlorothalonil in fish tissue and in test water were extracted with n-hexane and acetonitrile. GC-ECD was used to detecting and quantitating of Chlorothalonil. Partition coefficient was determined by stir-flask method. $LC_{50}$ was determined on Chlorothalonil. Carbaryl and BPMC. The obtained results were as follows. 1. It was possible to determine short term BCFs of Chlorothalonil through relatively simple procedure in environmental concentrations. 2. $BF_3$ of Chlorothalonil in concentration of 0.005, 0.01 and 0.05 ppm were 2.1866$\pm$0.23446, 3.5269$\pm$0.23517, 10.2045$\pm$0.18053 and BCFs were 6.6543$\pm$0.55257, 6.9774$\pm$0.02500, 23.4576$\pm$2.06884, respectively. 3. Chlorothalonil concentration in fish extract and BCFs of Chlorothalonil were increased as increasing test concentration and prolonging test period. 4. Fate of test-water concentration on Chlorothalonil was greater than that of control-water con-centration. It is considered that greater fate of test-water concentration on Chlorothalonil is due to hydrolyzing nitrile group under the mild condition and substituting chloro group by some aromatic compounds in test water. 5. Determined logP of Chlorothalonil was 2.80. And determined $LC_{50}$ of Chlorothalonil in time of 24, 48, 72 and 96 hr were 0.1684, 0.1402, 0.1400, 0.1352(mg/l) respectively. And $LC_{50}$ of Carbaryl in above times were 19.918, 18.635, 18.466, 18.12(mg/l) respectively. $LC_{50}$ of BPMC were 10.248, 9.166, 9.087, 8.921(mg/l) respectively. 6. It is suggested that the BCF of Carbamates depend on partition coefficients. But BCF of Chlorothalonil, organochlorine pesticide, would be strongly influenced by steric, electronic effect of substituents than partition coefficient.

Determination of Bioconcentration Factor of Heavy Metal (loid)s in Rice Grown on Soils Vulnerable to Heavy Metal (loid)s Contamination

  • There is an increasing concern over heavy metal(loid) contamination of soil in agricultural areas including paddy soils. This study was conducted to determine the bioconcentration factor (BCF) for heavy metal(loid)s to brown rice grown in paddy soils vulnerable to heavy metal(loid)s contamination, for the quantitative health risk assessment to the residents living nearby the metal contaminated regions. The samples were collected from 98 sites nationwide in the year 2015. The mean and range BCF values of As, Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb, and Zn in brown rice were 0.027 (0.001 ~ 0.224), 0.143 (0.001 ~ 2.434), 0.165 (0.039 ~ 0.819), 0.028 (0.005 ~ 0.187), 0.006 (0.001 ~ 0.048), and 0.355 (0.113 ~ 1.263), respectively, with Zn showing the highest. Even though the relationship between heavy metal(loid) contents in the vulnerable soils and metal contents in brown rice collected at the same fields was not significantly correlated, the relationship between log contents of heavy metal(loid)s in the vulnerable soils and BCF of brown rice wes significantly correlated with As, Cd, Cu, and Zn in rice. In conclusion, soil environmental risk assessment for crop uptake should consider the bioconcentration factor calculated using both the initial and vulnerable heavy metal(loid) contents in the required soil and the crop cultivated in the same fields.

Basalt 콘크리트 섬유보강 상판의 거동에 관한 기초적 연구 (The Fundamental Study on the Behavior of Deck Slab Reinforced Basalt Fiber)

  • Basalt originates from volcanic magma and flood volcanoes, a very hot fluid or semifluid material under the earth's crust, solidified in the open air. Basalt is a common term used for a variety of volcanic rocks, which are gray, dark in colour, formed from the molten lava after solidification. Recently, attention has been devoted to continuous basalt fibers (CBF) whose primary advantage consists in their low cost, good resistance to acids and solvents, and good thermal stability. In order to investigate reinforcement effect, this paper did FEM analysis with shell element. The result were as follows; BCF deck plate did elastic behavior to 450 kN, reinforcement effect of basalt fiber (BF) was less. But BCF's perpendicular deflection occurred little about 23 mm comparing with RC deck plate in load 627 kN. Stiffness was very improved by basalt fiber reinforcement.

수경재배에 의한 중금속 (As 및 Cd) 오염토양의 식물상 복원공법 적용 식물종 선별 (Selection of Plant Species for Phytoremediation of Heavy Metal (As and Cd) Contaminated Soil using Hydroponic Culture)

  • Phytoremediation presents a low-carbon and eco-friendly solution for heavy metal-contaminated soils, which pose great health and environmental risks to humans and ecosystems. A hydroponic culture was used to quantitatively assess the phytoremediation potential of plant species to remediate As or Cd-contaminated soil in field application. This study examined the growth, uptake, and distribution of Cd in the roots and shoots of Phalaris arundinacea and Brassica juncea in hydroponic conditions with Cd concentrations ranging from 0 to 20 mg/L for 10 days. Additionally, Aster koraiensis and Pteris multifida were cultivated in hydroponic conditions containing As concentrations ranging from 0 to 40 mg/L for 10 days. The concentrations of Cd in the above-ground part and root tissues of P. arundinacea and B. juncea reached a maximum of 147.7 and 1926.7 mg/kg-D.W.(Dry Weight), and 351.6 and 11305.5 mg/kg-D.W., respectively. Bioconcentration factor (BCF) for P. arundinacea and B. juncea were 68.9 and 122.3, respectively. Both species exhibited a translocation factor (TF) of less than 0.1, indicating their eligibility for phytostabilization. Aster koraiensis exhibited significant As accumulation of 155.1 and 1306.7 mg/kg D.W. in the above-ground part and root, respectively. However, this accumulation resulted with substantial weight loss and the manifestation of toxic symptoms. P. multifida exhibited higher accumulation of As (345.1 mg/kg-D.W.) in the fronds than in the roots (255.4 mg/kg-D.W.), corresponding to BCF values of 18.6 and 7.6, respectively, and a TF greater than 1.2. A TF value greater than 1.0 indicates that P. multifida is a viable option for phytoextraction.

  • 승화법에 의하여, 여러 조건의 성장압력과 성장온도에서 SiC 단결정을 성장시켰다. 성장된 단결정을 광학현미경으로 관찰하여 성장 step의 형태와 양상을 관찰하였으며, 성장 step의 morphology와 결정 성장 인자와의 상호 연관성에 대하여, 핵생성과 결정성장에 관한 BCF 이론을 적용시켜 고찰하였다.

  • Analysis and forecasting of the Baltic Capsize Index (BCI) is important for managing an entity's losses and risks from the uncertainty and volatility of the fast-changing maritime transport market in the future. This study conducted volatility transition analysis through the GARCH model, using BCI which is highly related to steel raw materials. As for the data, 2,385 monthly data were used from March 1999 to March 2021. In this study, after basic statistical analysis, unit root and cointegration test, the GARCH, EGARCH, and DCC-GARCH models were used for volatility transition analysis. As the results of GARCH and EGARCH model, we confirmed that all variables had no autocorrelation between the standardized residuals for error terms and the square of residuals, that the variability of all variables at this time was likely to persist in the future, and that the variability of the time-series error term impact according to Iron ore trade (IoT). In addition, through the EGARCH model, the magnitude convenience of all variables except the Iron ore price (IOP) and Capesize bulk fleet (BCF) variables was greater than the positive value (+). As a result of analyzing the DCC-GARCH (1,1) model, partial linear combinations were confirmed over the entire period. Estimating the effect of variability transition on BCF and C5 with statistically significant linear combinations with BCI confirmed that the impact of BCF on BCI was greater than the impact of BCI itself.
