We investigate the critical issue on how the BBF (bursty bulk flow) is related to the substorm current wedge formation. Observationally, after analysing data sets from Geotail spacecraft at near tail and many ground magnetic observatories for 9 months period of 1996, we find three BBF events that clearly occurred at the center of the wedge with region I type FAC (field-aligned current), and two other BBF events that were seen outside the wedge sector. Theoretically, we suggest that the substorm current wedge generation by BBF is most likely when the h' VB contribution is dominant in the well-known MHD $J_{II}$ expression (Vasyliunaus, 1984) or when the divergence of the cross-tail current carried by the particle's gradient/curvature drift is predominantly sufficient at the moment of the BBF arrival at near tail.
The characteristics of photocatalytic degradation of tar colorants such as brilliant blue FCF(BBF) and tartrazine(TTZ) with zinc oxide suspension was studied in a batch reactor under irradiation of ultra-violet ray. Photocatalytic degradation of TTZ with ZnO was more higher than that of BBF, and was Increased with dosage of ZnO below 5g, but was nearly affected with initial pH of two tar colorants aqueous solution. Ammonium persulfate was more effective oxidant than potassium bromate which slightly increased the degradation of BBF, but not increased the degradation of TTZ. The photocatalytic degradation rates of BBF and TTZ were pseudo-first order with rate constants of 0.0066, 0.0092 and $0.015min^{-1}$ for BBF, 0.042, 0.017 and $0.110min^{-1}$ for TTZ at the dosage of 1, 2 and 5g ZnO, respectively.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify associations among the sleep disturbance, fatigue, job stress, and blood and body fluid (BBF) exposure of shift-work nurses. Methods: A total of 299 shift-work nurses from two tertiary hospitals were enrolled in this study. We used the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI), and the Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS), and the Korean Occupational Stress Scale-Short Form (KOSS-SF) to evaluate sleep disturbance, fatigue, and job stress, respectively. The data were analyzed using t-test or chi-squared test and Logistic regression analysis using the SPSS 23.0 program. Results: We found that 43.8% of participants reported BBF exposure over the past year. Splash or exposure to broken skin of BBF were most frequent (56.9%), and followed by needlestick injuries (30.4%) and sharp injuries (12.8%). Age, hospital, working period, level of stress, sleep disturbance ($ISI{\geq}15$), fatigue (FSS $score{\geq}4$), job demand and organizational climate subset in KOSS-SF were significantly associated with BBF exposure in shift-work nurses. In multivariate analysis after adjusting age and hospital, the risk factors of BBF exposure in shift-work nurses were the level of stress and fatigue (FSS $score{\geq}4$). Conclusion: Fatigue and job stress were related to BBF exposure in shift-work nurses. Our results suggest that management of sleep disturbance, fatigue, and high job stress in shift-work nurses is needed to reduce risk of BBF exposure.
It has been suggested that oscillatory earthward bursty bulk flows (BBFs) in the magnetotail are driving Pi2 oscillations on the ground. However, only a few studies examined the BBF-driven Pi2 model. The goal of this study is to establish the relation between BBFs and Pi2s. In order to examine BBF-drive model, we will conduct the timing analysis between BBFs and Pi2s for the intervals during which both Pi2 and BBF are present. In our study BBFs are identified with earthward flow speeds up to 200 km/s from THEMIS probes with a geocentric distance between 7 and 12 RE in the nightside magnetosphere for the interval from January 2008 to March 2008. Pi2 pulsations are identified at three low/mid-latitude ground stations having different local times; Bohyun (L = 1.35, LT ~ UT +9 hr), Hermanus (L = 1.83, LT ~ UT +2 hr) and Carson city (L = 2.00, LT ~ UT -2 hr). It is found that ~28% of BBFs have onset timing nearly identical to Pi2 onset. To investigate whether there is high similarity in the waveform between BBF and Pi2 oscillations, the coherence analysis is applied to the time series of BBF and Pi2 events. We found that there is no high coherence between BBF and Pi2 oscillations. Thus our observations suggest that low-latitude Pi2 oscillations are not directly driven by earthward flow bursts.
Bronchobiliary fistula (BBF), defined as an abnormal communication between the biliary duct and bronchial trees, is a very rare condition. Bilioptysis is a pathognomonic finding for BBF. We studied a 58-year-old man, who had a BBF complicated by liver biloma that occurred after radiofrequency ablation. The diagnosis was confirmed by the presence of bile-stained sputum and an Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio-Pancreatography. BBF was treated successfully by endoscopic sphincterotomy and biliary drainage with insertion of a double pig-tail plastic stent into the biloma. We suggest that the optimal choice of treatment modality for BBF depends on the natural course of the underlying disease, and the status of the biliary stricture.

This study was conducted to investigate the herbicidal efficacy of up granule formula of benzobicyclon mixtures, benzobicyclon + azimsulfuron + oxaziclomefone up granule (BAO UG) and benzobicyclon + bensulfuron-methyl + fentrazamide up granule (BBF UG) to control annual and perennial weed species in a rice paddy field. Four annual weed species including Echinochloa crus-galli L. and three perennial weeds were dominated in the experimental field. Application of BAO UG and BBF UG was highly effective to control both annual and perennial weed species. No phytotoxic effect was observed in the rice based on the plant height, the number of tillers, and culm and panicle length. Finally, rice yield in the BAO UG and BBF UG treatment was as much as that in the hand weeding. This study indicates that self-dispersible floating formula of benzobicyclon mixtures can be applied to control both annual and perennial weed species in rice paddy fields and contribute to save labor costs.

We investigated blueberry wine made using traditional yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae M-5) and Saccharomyces cerevisiae Fermivin which is widely used in wine manufacturing, and measured its fermentative characteristics and antioxidant activity. S. cerevisiae M-5 is a traditional yeast isolated from domestically grown Black raspberry (Rubus occidentalis). Both S. cerevisiae M-5 and Fermivin were inoculated into blueberry juice (BBJ) up to $1{\times}10^9CFU/kg$, followed by incubation at $25^{\circ}C$ for 39 days. Final fermentation products of blueberry fermented with S. cerevisiae M-5 (BBM) presented 13.10% alcohol, $8.42^{\circ}Bx$ of sugar, and 1.183% acidity, and final fermentation products of blueberry fermented with Fermivin (BBF) presented 14.20% alcohol, $8.2^{\circ}Bx$ of sugar, and 1.153% acidity. The contents of total polyphenol and flavonoid compounds of BBM were higher than those of BBF and BBJ. DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities and reducing power of BBM were higher than those of BBF. The sensory evaluation revealed that BBM showed excellent flavor, taste, and overall acceptability compared with BBF. Based on these results, the possibility of industrial utilization of S. cerevisiae M-5 as traditional yeast was confirmed by sensory evaluation and antioxidant activity. Fermentation rate of S. cerevisiae M-5 was similar to Fermivin, which is used in the food industry.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the under-reporting rate and related factors after blood and body fluid (BBF) exposure among hospital employees. Methods: Fifteen hundred l employees were conveniently sampled from ten university and acute care hospitals. The survey questionnaire consisted of 37 items. Data were collected from September 10 to November 30, 2008. Results: The survey response rate was 88.7%. The 47.9% (638/1,331) of hospital employees were exposed to BBF and the mean number of exposure was $4.7{\pm}5.942$ within the previous year. Under-reporting rate after BBF exposure was 69.4% (443/638). By multi-variate logistic regression analysis, the exposure number, exposure type, infectious disease and hospital were independently related to the under-reporting of BBF among hospital employees. Conclusion: The under-reporting rate after being exposed to blood and body fluids was relatively high. To address this problem, educational programs are needed to decrease the under-reporting rate for healthcare workers. Further, it might be helpful if other factors related to under-reporting be investigated in future studies.

The aim of this study was to compare the degree of conversion and polymerization shrinkage of low and high viscosity bulk-fill giomer-based and resin-based composites. Two bulk-fill giomer (Beautifil Bulk Restorative (BBR), Beautifil Bulk Flowable (BBF)), two bulk-fill (Tetric N-Ceram Bulk-fill (TBF), SureFil SDR flow (SDR)) and two conventional resin composites (Tetric N-Ceram (TN), Tetric N-flow (TF)) were selected for this study. The degree of conversion was measured by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Polymerization shrinkage was measured with the linometer. For all depth, BBR had the lowest degree of conversion and SDR had the highest. At 4 mm, the degree of conversion of low and high viscosity bulk-fill giomer resin composites was lower than that of bulk-fill resin composites (p < 0.05). At the depth between 2 mm and 4 mm, there were significant difference with TBF, TN and TF (p < 0.05), while no significant difference in the degree of conversion was measured for BBR, BBF and SDR. Polymerization shrinkage of six resin composites decreased in the following order: TF > SDR > BBF > TBF > TN and BBR (p < 0.05). Polymerization shrinkage of bulk-fill giomer resin composites was lower than that of bulk-fill resin composites (p < 0.05). From this study, it is found that the bulk-fill giomer resin composites and TBF were not sufficiently cured in 4 mm depth. The degree of conversion of low and high viscosity bulk-fill giomer resin composites was significantly lower than bulk-fill resin composites in both 2 mm and 4 mm depths. Therefore, such features of bulk-fill giomer resin composites should be carefully considered in clinical application.
Hearing devices like cochlear implant, vibrant soundbridge, etc. try to offer better sound for people. In hearing devices, several beamformers including conventional directional microphone are applicable to noise reduction. Each beamformer has different directional response and it could change sound intelligibility or quality for listeners. Therefore, we investigated the performance of three beamformers, which are first and second order directional microphone, and broadband beamformer(BBF) with a computer simulation assuming hearing device microphone configuration. We also calculated objective measurements which have been used to evaluate speech enhancement algorithms. In the simulation, a single speech and a single babble noisewere propagated from the front and $135^{\circ}$ azimuth degrees respectively. Microphones were configured in an end-fire array and the spacing was varied in comparison. With 3 cm spacing, BBF had about 3 dB higher enhanced SNR than that of directional microphones. However, enhancement of segmental SNR and frequency weighted segmental SNR were similar between the first order directional microphone and broadband beamformer. In addition when steady state noise was used, broadband beamformer showed the increased performance and had the highest enhanced SNR, and segmental SNR.
