This research was conducted to investigate the feasibility of aviation safety technology development. The important subjects of aviation safety technology development, aviation accident prevention and damage reduction technique, aircraft safety certification development, BASA promotion in an aircraft class, were included to investigate the the feasibility of aviation safety technology development. The survey technique using Benefit-Cost Anlysis was performed and the results showed that aviation safety technology development brought scientific technique effect, industrial and economic effect, and the rest effects. Also, the benefits from aviation safety technology development were much greater than the costs.

Objectives: This study is a clinical report of a patient with ADHD and learning disorders who is being treated with hyperbaric oxygen, scalp acupuncture, cognitive enhancement therapy and speech-language therapy. Methods: The BASA-R, BASA-M and REVT tests were used for the diagnosis of learning disorders. For the treatment, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, scalp acupuncture, cognitive enhancement therapy and speech-language therapy were all being used. The Raven's matrix tests were compared for between before and after the abovementioned therapies. Results: After the treatment, Raven's matrix test grade improved from 4 to 5. The improvement of the patient's concentration, communication, motion, confidence, and sleep conditions were observed. Conclusions: These therapies including the hyperbaric oxygen therapy are efficient for the treatment of ADHD and learning disorders.

This is the study to introduce the Japanese Type Certification System for Domestic Aircraft and current status of Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement. The study on the Japanese Type Certification System will contribute to understand our aircraft certification system and will be a reference in performing the Type Certification Project on KC-100 airplane in the Part 23 Normal Category.

The air data measured from the static pressure, the dynamic pressure and etc. of an airplane is used for calculation of many flight parameters(altitude and airspeed and so on) and these values applied to flight safety and navigation flight. The pitot-static system of the development airplane is calibrated by finding of pitot-static system's error using tower fly-by, trailing cone method and etc. This paper is describing for the introduction of the trailing cone method and major items for test planning, preparation, operation and results for air data calibration flight test performed, considering efficiency and safety during KC-100 development project.

We investigated concentrations and loads of nutrients in the paddy plots with conventional and environmental paddy plots in Chungbuk. Different fertilizers for basa dressing were applied to two paddy plots. There were not significantly different concentrations between two experimental paddy plots because almost same amount of fertilizers were applied to two plots. For drainage water during rainy days mean T-N concentration was lower, but mean T-P concentration was almost identical compared with respective values in flooded water.

This study is on the establishment process of Certification Plan of KPP small aircraft development, domestic BASA(Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement) shadow certification project. For the development of certification plan incorporations process understanding applicable regulations, selection of certification basis, definition of means of compliance and establishment of compliance checklist. On the basis of this process, we develop type certification procedure suitable for domestic small aircraft.

The conformity of propulsion system need to be evaluated thorough the flight test because it is an important part of the airplane to ensure the flight safety. In the small airplane development, the flight test according to KAS(Korean Airworthiness Standards) Part 23 is one of the ways to verify compliance in terms of satisfactory aircraft/engine/propeller integration. This thesis introduces means of verifying the compliance and test requirement of KAS Part 23 for the conformity of the propulsion system in small airplane. It also describes procedures and methods of propulsion system flight test through KC-100 airplane project.

건물의 평면 디자인이나 도로의 디자인과 같은, 보행자를 고려해야 하는 디자인 혹은 그와 유사한 문제의 최적화를 위해서 군중 시뮬레이션이 필요한 경우가 있다. 이때 보행자 에이전트에 대한 모델이 필요하며 에이전트 디자인을 얼마나 신중하게 하느냐가 군중시뮬레이션의 결과에 많은 영향을 미친다. 기존의 보행자 모델은 에이전트로 하여금 이성적 행동을 하도록 하는 데에 초점이 맞추어져 있었다. 하지만 사람은 심리경향을 갖고 있으며, 이를 고려한 보행자 모델은 좀 더 현실과 가까운 군중 시뮬레이션이 가능하도록 해 준다. 본 논문에서는 MBTI(Myers-Briggs Type Indicator)의 척도 중 하나인 외향과 내향 척도를 기존의 보행자 모델에 적용시켰다. 외향과 내향을 하나의 변수로 보고 그에 따른 행동 패턴의 결정에 대한 함수를 만들었다. 그리고 이 모델을 사용하여 2 차원의 군중시뮬레이션을 해 보았다. 이 시뮬레이션은 출구를 가지고 있는 평면구조를 사용하여 위급한 상황일 때를 가정하여 에이전트들이 출구로 빠져나가도록 하는 것이다.

In order to export aircraft components or substructures, it is necessary to get a certification from the main company for the components or an airworthiness certification from the FAA. In Korea, those processes are performed by a small number of private companies for aircraft components. However, airworthiness certification has never been done in the company. To export an assembled aircraft, whether small or large, it is obligatory to get a certification for the aircraft being exported. Currently, the Korean government is trying to get BASA agreement in a few years. For a mid-size company, it is easier to get the NADCAP audit process for the supply of aircraft components to the main company. In this paper, the overall process of aircraft certification is discussed and airworthiness certification is treated for export aircraft. Moreover, the NADCAP audit process is described in detail by introducing example parts made of composite material. This detailed process would be very helpful to a small or mid-size company that wants to develop and deliver aircraft components to foreign companies.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD) is a psychiatric disorder, characterized by the primary symptoms of inattention and/or impulsivity and hyperactivity. This study is a clinical report of 1 ADHD child treated with Neurofeedback therapy from Feb. to May 2005. Conners’ parent rating scale, Korean Personality Inventory for children(KPI-C), Basic Academic Skills Assessment(BASA : Reading) was compared between before and after Neurofeedback therapy, and the EEG data of each cession was analysed. The results show the Neurofeedback therapy is efficient in the treatment of ADHD.
