  • This paper is an exploitative research on the types of B2B e-business model. The research method adopted is a literature review of academic articles, reports of consulting firms, technical papers and seminar materials.   • According to e-business has been used commonly, many companies do e-business deal for B2B, B2C, etc based on internet. To support web-based e-business, companies must construct the homepage and shopping-mall that is able to advertise a publicity work about their companies to customer. In this paper, we classified the components used in the homepage and shopping-mall development about e-business and designed a management system for supporting environment that is searched, updated, edited, etc. For an application example, we analyzed a purchasing process of products by domain analysis and abstracted the components needed. Because this component management system manages components efficiently, it will come in pretty handy in web-based system development.

Organizational Factors Influencing Inclination to Use a B2B Website by a Buyer-Supplier Dyad: The Indian Context

  • Business-to-Business electronic commerce websites are a common form of inter-organizational systems that span organizational boundaries and enables organizations to exchange information in a seamless fashion. To reap the desired benefits it is important that the website be used in the intended manner. The level and extent of use of a business-to-business website depends partly on the inclination to use the website by the users in the primary organization and in the user organizations independently and the combined inclination of the organizations together. This combined inclination is referred to as the System Inclination, with dominance playing a key role. Each organization has certain characteristics of its own and may differ significantly in their inclination to use. It is important to analyze the factors that determine this inclination to use, so that organizations can adopt appropriate management mechanisms to control it. This paper proposes a framework to explain the organizational factors and their influence on the inclination to use a website, based on study of four Indian buyer-supplier dyads. Inclination to use is found to be influenced by factors like top management support, website characteristics, adequate support mechanisms, user group orientation towards electronic commerce and basic IT drive among the employees, at both the primary and user organizations.

  • Purpose - The purpose of this study is to comprehensively understand the recent status of domestic e-commerce market and provide useful information for the revitalization of domestic on-line economy. This study looks over the association between type of e-commerce and demographic variables for each purchase ordering and sales order business. The demographics under consideration is administrative district, occupation and business organization type and type of e-commerce is B2B, B2C and B2G to deal with. Research design, data, and methodology - From January 2017 to December 2017, about 14000 samples are extracted from all businesses with experience in purchasing or selling products or services through e-commerce. The association between the two categorical variables considered by using two major statistical techniques such as chi-square test and correspondence analysis can be quantitatively and visually detected. Result - This study shows the association between the type of e-commerce with the administrative district and the occupation is completely different, but B2B and B2C are identical for organization type, with respect to both purchase and sales orders.   • There have been many research papers and practical implementations on the various EC(Electronic Commerce) aspects such as merchant system, security, payment gateway, legal and policy issues. However, it is very hard to find the systematic approaches and business process models from the viewpoint of the company willing to start B2C(Business-To-Customer) EC. Therefore, we develop business process models for the planning, systems analysis and design, implementation, and operation of internet shopping mall to suggest a guideline and reference model for the realization of successful B2C EC.

  • To execute business collaborations, the business process specification is required and it is generated from the business process model. ebXML, which is the XML-based B2B standard framework for organizations over the Internet, recommends process analyst and modeler to use UN/CEFACT Modeling Methodology for modeling. All the artifacts of the modeling and transformed results between different business models may be registered in the business library for the share and re-use. In this paper, we implement the business process modeler including built-in registry client. It provides not only modeling the business process but also generating the specifications, exporting the metadata about the business model, and registering in the business library.

  • B2F(Business to Family)플랫폼은 각 가정의 네트워크 시스템에 관리 가능한 서비스를 제공하고, 이러한 서비스의 운영 플랫폼인 서비스 게이트웨이는 원격에서 관리할 수 있는 서비스 응용 소프트웨어를 실행할 수 있는 환경을 제공하며, 이에 대한 라이프 사이클을 관리할 수 있게 하는 소프트웨어 프레임워크이다. 이를 기반으로 하는 새로운 서비스를 공급함으로써 부가가치를 창출할 수 있는 인프라 환경을 제공할 수 있는 B2F플랫폼에 대한 요구 사항 분석과 구조에 대하여 서술하였다.

  • The purpose of this research is to provide strategic guidelines for EDI transaction companies to migrate from EDI system to Web-based e-Business frameworks such as ebXML, RosettaNet and Web Services. Due to various limitations of EDI and evolution of Web technologies, a lot of firms want to adopt Internet based B2B standards However, they are seeking ways of migrating from EDI to open and public B2B frameworks smoothly not giving up existing EDI system at a time. Therefore, it is very important to provide migration strategies and guidelines for companies to migrate from EDI system to Web-based B2B frameworks. The strategic guidelines provided in this paper can be used as a practical guidance in developing migration strategies of EDI companies.

  • In recent years, electronic commerce (EC) business has shown a tremendous growth, which put additional cognitive and time-consuming loads on the human users. Intelligent software agents are one key technology to support users doing real EC-business.We propose an Agent-based Business-to-Business(B2B) Marketplace on Internet, where constituent members cooperate or compete in order to get the best possible deals, with the aim of reducing user loads.In case of B2B deals, the good itself shows a complicated behaviour, e.g.price discounts depending o the lot, discounts for cross-buying and so on. It is impractical to concentrate all the knowledge about the goods and the trading strategies at the buyer/seller side. Instead, we include such information in the good itself, which allow us to model the goods as being agents.

  • This paper presents the main business models in ubiquitous city (u-City), the future city strategically integrated with the ubiquitous computing technology. Based on the concept of u-City, the chief services related to the u-City that has been actively developed are analysed, and then the best main four business models (u-Tour, u-ITS, u-SCM and B2B) for SongTan city are presented. The four business models are selected from making an analysis for the present situation of the tour industries, industrial complex, traditional market in SongTan. With the business models, the strategies to realize the active business transactions, high revenues, high value-adding industries, self-sufficient business through the construction of u-City are also presented. Finally, the promoting plans for local autonomy party, citizen party and consortium of industries/universities/researches to give an comfortable u-Life to citizen in SongTan are described.
