  • 본 논문에서는 한국형 에너지 관리 시스템의 계통 해석용 프로그램을 위한 공통 데이터 모델의 구축에 대해 다루었다. 공통 데이터 모델이란 다양한 어플리케이션이 공유하여 사용할 수 있는 계통 모델의 데이터베이스를 가리키며 본 논문에서는 토폴로지 프로세서(topology processor, TP), 상태추정(state estimator, SE), 급전원 조류계산(dispatcher power flow, DPF), 휴전계획(outage scheduler, OS), 부하 분포계수(bus load distribution factor, BLDF), 송전 손실 민감도 계수(transmission loss sensitivity factor, TLSF) 등을 위한 공통 모델에 대해 다루었다. 공통 모델의 구축을 위해 각 어플리케이션에서 필요한 정보를 수집하여 전력계통의 토폴로지 구조과 계통 설비를 모델링 하였다. 최종적으로 계층적(hierarchy) 구조와 비계층적(non-hierarchy) 구조로 나뉘어진 직접(direct) 및 간접(indirect) 인덱스 코드를 사용하여 데이터로의 빠른 접근이 가능한 실시간 데이터베이스 형태를 제시하였다.

  • In this paper, we have developed page level input system of the character reading aid for the blind. Input toys)ems arse consisted with 512 pixels line image sensor, optical lento, digital interface for the computer and its control software. Input buffer size of the computer memory that for the single scanning of printed matters Image is 64kB. Image patterns of the reading characters which stored in system memory are converted to tactile character patterns that would be output to the bimorph tactile sensor by software control.

  • 텔레매틱스 시스템은 이동통신(CDMA)과 GPS를 기반으로 차량과 정보센터를 연결하여 차량 운행 중 요구되는 각종 정보를 실시간으로 제공하는 시스템이다 이러한 텔레매틱스 시스템의 주요 기능 중 하나가 차량 원격 진단 및 사고 통보시스템으로 차량 주행 중에 각각의 EMS. TMS. ABS/TCS. ABAG 등에서 진단된 차량의 이상 유무를 실시간으로 분석하고. 운전자 주행 패턴 및 차량 관리에 대한 사항을 점검하여 무선통신을 통해 정보센터로 전송하여 이를 D/B화함으로써 효율적 차량 관리가 가능하다. 또한 긴급 상황 발생 시 (차량사고 또는 고장) 센터로 자동 통보하여 빠른 인명 구조와 적절한 차량 견인 조치가 가능하다.

  • The controller for magnetically suspended vehicles considering the speed characteristics is presented. Generally, the attraction force of magnet is determined by input current and air gap. However, when MAGLEV runs at high speed, induced eddy currents in the rail decrease the attraction force. Thus control characteristics of MAGLEV become deteriorated. Therefore, the variation of attraction force according to speed must be considered. Thus we analyzed the speed characteristics of the magnet by FEM. Also, we study on the control characteristics according to speeds, and design the controller considering the decline of levitation force using Neural Network.

  • The remarkable progress of electronics and radio communications technology has made our life abundant. On the other hand, the countermeasure of EMC becomes more important socially according to the increased use of electromagnetic waves. It had been required that the absorbing ability of an electromagnetic wave absorber is more than 20 dB, the bandwidth of which is required through 30 MHz to 1,000 MHz for satisfying the international standard about an anechoic chamber for EMI/EMS measurement. From November of 1998, however, the CISPR11 has accepted the extended frequency band from 30 MHz to 18 GHz in the bandwidth of EMI measurement. In this paper, we proposed the cutting com-shaped type satisfying the above requirments and carried out broadband design using the equivalent material constants method. Moreover, we have fabricated it and compared its characteristics with simulated one.

  • This paper is to introduce the R&D project called "Improvement of Automatic Gene-ration Control Related Systems for New Energy Management system". The principal objective of this project is to demonstrate AGC operation capabilities that are suitable to new EMS environment and to show the validity of Set-Point Control Method. A number of developments and enhancements have been made to the generator's Remote Terminal Unit in which new ASTC is being developed and installed. The so-called ACC Signal Transfer Card(ASTC) will include RTU's Set-Point Control capabilities. It is expected that over next few months both RTU & DCS software modifications will be given and a relatively new Set-Point Control Method will be chosen instead of those from more conventional method, pulse control method.

  • As electronic industry and radio communication technologies progress, mankind enjoys its abundant life. On the other hand, it becomes possible that the electrical and electronic equipments are on light weight, small size, high speed, broad bandwidth, and operation by small energy. At the same time, many social problems like EMI/EMS by electromagnetic waves occur. Therefore, tile organizations such as CISPR, FCC, ANCI, etc., have provided the standards of electromagnetic wave environments for the countermeasure of the EMC. In this paper, we designed and studied a new EMI filter for multi-tap in the frequency band from 150 kHz to 30 MHz.

  • The regulations for hydrocarbon emission from vehicles have become much more stringent in recent years. These more stringent regulations request vehicle manufacturers to develop the advanced exhaust system for reducing exhaust emissions. The exhaust emissions has many sources in vehicle. In order to investigate the characteristics of hydrocarbon(HC) in the exhaust manifold, concentrations of individual HC species were measured in exhaust process. Using sampling valve, the light hydrocarbon emissions were captured in the exhaust manifold(catalyst before and after) and analyzed from LPLi engine exhaust manifold(catalyst before and after) using different fuel properties. Then exhaust samples were measured by gas chromatography(GC) and exhaust gas analyzer. Catalyst conversion efficiency for fuel properties of Butane 100% was better than Propane 100%. Start delay of LPLi engine was observed as increment of propane contents in LPG fuels.
